Spesh and Miles An Aromatisse sauntered in view of both trainers, staring them down in disdain. Behind her trotted a Kangashkan, who had no baby in her pouch. They seemed to be traveling together, and the Aromatisse had tripped over the tinier Torchic. "Tisse!" it shrieked, preening its leg fur in annoyance at touching a filthy inferior being. The Kangashkan placed a paw on Aromatisse's shoulder, signaling to her not to make a scene.

Aromatisse, female, level 15 Kangashkan, level 15 Jaden eyed the massive beast that was a Kangaskhan, wishing he could have something that large and ferocious as it on his team. Every inch of it was covered in thick skin with various pads at different locations. The face it was trying to make was friendly and welcoming, but it still was unable to hide the brutishly strong traits it had. Jaden held his Pokedex up to it, quickly discovering that it had been missing its pouched Pokemon. There was normally something there that it took care of until it grew into a Pokemon like itself.
The Aromatisse, however, was a completely different story. The Pokemon cried feminine and did not seem the least bit strong. He looked it up and down, then scanned it with his Pokedex. This thing was a Fairy-type. In Jaden's mind, Fairy-types were the farthest away from the Pokemon he wanted to maintain his "masculine" appearance. It would have to do something completely amazing for the boy to even consider asking it to join his team. The Kangaskhan, however, would have a free ticket if it wanted one.
"Oh, I'm sorry," Jaden said, attempting to be kind, "And who might you all be?"

Sammiya: "Well I can see that Sylvia already gave you a pokedex" He said to Arata before leading the boy into the entrance of the lab. He patted his head. "Good luck on your journey, and make sure you stop by the store and buy some pokeballs!" He smiled, "I used to give them out to new trainers but my funding was cut after I built the wonderclaw" He laughed nervously, as he remembered the email he received that notified him his spending exceeded his budget. "Yes, sir, she did." Arata nodded, accepting the pat to his head calmly. He listened to the Profesor's advice, curious as to why they'd cut his funds for making the wonderclaw. "Thank you, Professor. But, I see. Bye!" Arata left, passing by a couple of other trainers that were there to get their Pokemon. As soon as he was out of the building, he let out his new Pokemon, the chingling floating in front of him while staring at the boy. "Ching.... ching... It made a soft, bell-like noise while just floating there, giving Arata a extremely calm and relaxed look. "Hey, Chingling, I'm Arata. Your new partner. Um, well... Do you like the name Belle? I know it's a bit weird, and maybe obvious given, well, the fact you are a bell kinda." Arate studied him curiously, the chingling blinking at him before nodding, a melodious chime coming from it. "Ching."[/color] Belle nodded, still looking calm and relaxed. Arata smiled before heading to the Pokemart, noticing the same boy who'd been before him in the lab was battling in the fountain. When he entered the mart he headed for the trainer items, picking up three pokeballs, a potion, and a antidote.

Drac: Can you do Vince's lab event? Suddenly many more mankey had begun to make their presence known in the area. They were quite benign until something upset just one of them, then all of them would explode into a rage. Feeling a bit insulted by the girl, the other Mankey quickly picked up on this.
Kaiser: The final peck attack was enough to knock the Remoraid out. The man smiled when he saw that he had lost, unlike most other trainers. "Wow you have really shown some great potential." He complimented the boy as he returned his Remoraid. After talking with Gale for a bit he looked at his watch and realized he had to go home to his family. "Here, for a great battle," He said, handing the boy a round stone, "Goodbye, hopefully we cross paths again!"
(Item: Float Stone. This item when given to a pokemon makes gravity have less of an effect on them.)

Spesh The Aromatisse appeared to be mildly offended when the boy ignored her, but the Kangashkan calmed her friend again before things escalated. The Kangaskhan seemed a bit more eager to talk, using her large paws to signal that they were headed for the other patch of tall grass above Cherrygrove City. The famous Mr. Pokémon was known to often welcome Pokémon visitors, and this was no exception. The Kangaskhan cast another furtive look, seeming to be in a hurry to leave.
Vince The harried Professor turned to the boy with a smile, directing him to the wonder claw machine where the starter choices lay inside. As the boy approached, the machine grabbed a case from the many balls and released it into a special dispenser for the boy to pick from. The choices were a blue frog with foam around its neck, a white bug and a small, plump human-like creature. As the images were revealed on the screen, Zander could easily pick one by pressing the button for the ball to be dispensed for his first Pokémon. He would need to make a wise choice. ----- Sasha noticed the other Mankey surrounding her in confusion. It wasn't like she had asked for them to come, but they were easily provokable by nature and as far as she knew, she didn't relish the thought of being torn apart so quickly into her adventure. She dimly recalled that Mankeys were partial to chestnuts, and though she hated feeding wild Pokémon...she'd rather be gone before they realized. Pulling a handful of chestnuts from her bag, she tossed them in the opposite direction to distract the mob before she climbed onto Mama. "Bring me elsewhere!" she exclaimed, and the Yanmega heaved her into the skies and further down the route. Bugs were not very good with flight, and it wasn't long before she crash-landed in some other part of the same route.

"Here, for a great battle," He said, handing the boy a round stone, "Goodbye, hopefully we cross paths again!" (Item: Float Stone. This item when given to a pokemon makes gravity have less of an effect on them.) Gale smiled, it was over, he had won his first battle! The boy cheered, he approached the fountain to congratulate Goldeen and hug her. "thanks for that battle, I learned a lot" the boy answered to the man before he recieved the Float Stone from him. Gale looked the object confused but before he could ask what it was, the man had left. Gale took his pokedex and scanned the stone "Float Stone, when given to a pokemon, it makes gravity have less of an effect on them, best sutable for fish shaped Water Type pokemon" the machine said. "well, I guess I can give this to Goldeen" Gale thought before realizing he ha nothing to attacht it to Goldeen. "hmm we need to buy some stuff" he said to Goldeen before returning her to the pokeball. Gale made his way to the Pokemart and after grabbing a sort of ring to fit the Float Stone in, he approached the counter and bought some Potions, a couple Antidotes and Paralyze Heals plus six empty and brand new pokeballs for his journey, he knew it was probably he'd need more than those but that was all he could afford at the momment. After paying everything, the boy returned to the fountain and released Goldeen, taking the ring he fit the Float Stone in it and secured the hard plastic object on Goldeen's horn, the only place he thought would not let it slide down of her.
