Dracoon: A Gengar appeared from the shadows in front of the girl. He only did so because he wanted to, not because the girl asked. He had no interest in becoming the property of some noob trainer when he was strong enough to be owned by someone who at least had experience. To mock the girl he stuck out his long tongue and stepped backwards into the wall of the building, phasing through it and then reappearing on the roof after a few moments. "Gengen!" He snickered before taking flight and becoming invisible. He was going to go wreak some havoc on the street vendor.
Gengar dipped his finger into the water of the fountain, chilling it and causing the Remoraids in the pond to slow their movements. He then decided to appear in front of the Pidove, scaring them and causing the flock to fly away, scattering feathers and their loud calls over the whole square. A few children shouted and hid when this happened, and the Gengar only continued to laugh.

"Wow, excuse you- count me in!" Sasha picked up her satchel and gave chase, watching as the Gengar tore into the inhabitants of New Bark Town. Everyone was screaming and scattering, but Sasha took this in with a look of amusement. After all, this wasn't her town, and she wanted to get back at old Elm for not recognizing her and Gengar just helped her do everything on her behalf. She pretended to hide when some children passed by her, before she watched the last person leave the square. With one final, falsely-timid look, she let the square clear before bursting out into laughter. "That was great!" she shouted at Gengar, "You're great! A++ prankster, I give it to you." Sasha gave the Gengar a thumbs-up of approval, indicating that she liked him. "You should totally go inside there. There's a lot more humans to spook." With a jerk of her thumb, she casually invited Gengar to Elm's laboratory. Perhaps if the Gengar was enticed by her invitation, she could take advantage of the chaos to get herself as many Pokeballs as she could until she found the right one. She grinned, unfazed by Gengar's mischief and tapping her foot anxiously. All she hoped was that Gengar would take her up, or better, treat her as an accomplice of sorts.

Dracoon: Gengar appreciated the attention the girl was giving him, but as she invited him to attack the laboratory he only laughed loudly. He wasn't stupid enough to go attack Elm's lab. He might be an old man but he has a psychic working for him. He remembered the old woman with the labcoat rather vividly. She could get into his head when he was around her and didn't want to go through any more of that. Instead, he lowered himself to her level and shook her hand. Gengar was not interested in joining her since she obviously didn't have any pokemon of her own, or at least he thought so since she was sitting there watching all of the wild pokemon rather than playing with her own. He simply walked back into the shadows and vanished. He liked this girl, that was for sure, but she was not ready for him.

Sasha appreciated the handshake, watching as the Gengar disappeared. "Aw, nuts," she mused to herself, confused as to why Gengar refused to attack Elm's lab. Like hot damn, scattering all the nerds- why wouldn't anyone take up that offer? She wagered something else must have been up, and shrugged. It didn't take long for her to figure that Gengar might return anyway. Since the chaos might've attracted attention from the nerds inside, she quietly sidestepped into the next route to see if she could try her luck there. Maybe if she was lucky enough, some unlucky loser would get one of their Pokeballs bumped off by a timid, confused girl rushing off to Cherrygrove. She could probably pretend to not have a Pokemon and be all sad about being unable to get through the tall grass. Either way, she squatted down and ruffled her hair to make it look as messy as possible. Perhaps she could recount a sob story to a passing Trainer about her predicament.

Dracoon: The entrance to the route was a path framed by a thick grove of trees that lead to a forest clearing full of tall grass. It seemed like the route continued like that for miles. It could take days to make it through. Within the first clearing of the route and maybe a hundred meters away, were two trainers preoccupied with a Staraptor, but not too far off was a Palpitoad singing as it marched along a smaller path that was created by many pokemon of his species using the gap between the trees to get into the grotto.
Flying overhead was a Yanmega that seemed to be irritated about something. It lowered itself and began to patrol the clearing, clearly looking for something. It was avoiding the girl since it had assumed she was a trainer who would battle it. It vibrated its wings and called out loudly "YAN!"
There was another trainer nearby who was startled awake by the loud calling of the Yanmega. He feared the large bug and quickly picked up his bag and high tailed it out of there. His bag was left open, and as he picked it up, a Pokeball and a potion fell out along with a pair of underwear.

Sasha quickly grabbed the free items, ignoring the underwear. How unkempt to store everything like that. When the Yanmega called out, she glanced up at the bug. From its furtive glances, she guessed that he was searching for something. "Need my help?" she offered at last, curious as to what the Yanmega was looking for. To indicate she was harmless, Sasha raised her arms in an act of surrender- unwittingly revealing that she had no Pokèballs on her belt as well, almost in a sense of actual frustration. The Palpitoad passed her feet, and she shrugged. Nothing irked her most than stupidly happy Pokémon since they wouldn't know if she'd ruined their fun. Staraptor would be excellent for her, but like dragons, they had to be trained from a young age or they'd buck. Sasha enjoyed all of her orifices and didn't need a few more on her face for now, and the Staraptor kept the trainers busy enough for her to eventually be able to steal a few Pokemon later down the road. For now, she focused on helping the Yanmega- though she didn't quite like bugs, at least she could do a good turn by helping this huge dragonfly.

Dracoon: Before Sasha could help Yanmega start looking, three smaller versions of it emerged from the forest and circled her. The Yanma all looked rather scared, and then the larger Yanmega gave all of them a glare. This Yanmega was definitely the mother of the three Yanma, and those three had run off. Usually they did not spend long raising their young, but Yanmega felt that her young were not strong enough to go into the wild alone, especially the smallest one which was born missing part of its tail-wing that the species used to control direction. She looked at Sasha and nodded to her, to tell her that everything was fine now, but the young Yanma all looked restless. They were stuck at home to protect the smallest one.

"Ooh, babies," cooed Sasha, instantly forgetting that the Yanmega was overly intimidating. Yanma were the cutest things, and they seemed so carefree by nature. Besides, they could fly too and annoy people with their buzzing without seeming as angry as Beedrills did. It was the best of both worlds. She noticed the smallest Yanma's missing appendage however, and mulled over this. It would explain how the Yanmas seemed so upset, since they had to babysit the youngest and disabled child. Sasha suddenly had a brainwave- what if she made a small appendage for the youngest child? She picked up a broken, fat branch that had fallen not too far from the tree, before producing a Swiss army knife and refining it. It was not long before a small, teardrop-shaped object formed in her deft hands. She also picked up some Silcoon silk that was discarded, threading a hole into the prosthetic before using it as some sort of sticky string. "Hey! How about you let your baby wear this instead?" she shouted at Yanmega amidst the buzzing, presenting her prosthetic to the mother. Perhaps the Yanmega would consider the prosthetic for her child, so that it could at least function with some degree of normalcy. Post-evolution, it would no longer need it anyway. With a wide smile, as well as quite a few splinters on her hands, she waited impatiently for the dragonflies' response.

Dracoon: The Yanmega admired what the girl was doing, and seemed to circle her as she began to craft the small wooden object. She was wary of the girl getting close to her weakest child, so in the blink of an eye she zipped past Sasha and knocked her backpack off, which is where her pokeballs would be if she had any. After going back to her previous position, she nodded for the girl to try out the appendage for the smallest. The other two Yanma looked with curiosity before they started to chase each other around the clearing.

Sasha let her do it- it wasn't like she had Pokèmon to protect her and she was taking a huge risk getting close to so many wild Pokèmon. The Yanma was patiently hovering as she attached the prosthetic fin, securing it with the Silcoon silk to prevent it from falling off during flight. After winding it around the Yanma's tail twice to secure it even further, she let go of the tiny Yanma to try it out. When she did, she began using her mouth to pull the splinters out, cringing a little as she pulled the thorns from her hands. It was too long, way too long since she'd last crafted anything, and she hadn't worn gloves this time to craft the prosthetic since it was so spurn-of-the-moment.

Dracoon: The prosthetic was a bit heavy and threw Yanma off-balance, but as it began to adjust itself it started to get the hang of it and was able to change direction much better. Of course now it was leaning to one side while in the air, but it had no problems with keeping aloft or even keeping up with its siblings who were chasing each other! The Yanmega vibrated its wings almost as if to thank Sasha before she flew to her children and allowed them all to go off on their own. They were now free to go wherever they wanted! As long as they visited of course! The larger siblings instantly flew off, but the youngest stuck with its mother for now as they both landed on a low hanging treebranch.

The girl picked out the last splinter, before she turned to the Yanmega and her child. "I don't know if you'd like to travel with me..." she began, but trailed off seeing the small child hanging on the branch, "Seeing as you have your child and all to take care of. I completely understand if you don't, though!" While she let the Yanmega make her decision, she picked up the spilt contents of her bag and bound up her hands with some leaves and whatever remained of the Silcoon silk. It stung a lot, and her hands were aching but it felt great. It wasn't like she had an urge to steal something from the trainers wrestling the Staraptor not too far ahead and with her hands out of commission she couldn't, anyway.

Dracoon: The Yanmega, although large and intimidating was not a very strong pokemon, and it always had wished to go off and become stronger. She remembered all of the times she had fallen in battle trying to keep her young safe, and she also remembered how she used to have five children. This thought saddened her, and she knew that she owed it to herself and the Yanma she lost to become stronger. Pokemon who work with humans tend to get stronger, so she made the rash decision to travel with Sasha. She looked to Yanma and explained to him that she wanted to travel with Sasha, and the Yanma simply nodded. He took flight and approached Sasha, thanking her for the help and he flew off to find his brothers. She promised that she would find them one day when she was stronger. Although they were just pokemon, she was intelligent enough to know that she wanted her young to be proud of her power. Yanmega flew until she was hovering in front of Sasha and then landed on the ground. "Yanyan" She said in a voice that sounded similar to a chainsaw, giving Sasha permission to capture her. The only thing Yanmega was thinking about was becoming stronger, but she didn't want to hurt anyone who wasn't willing to fight.

Arata gave the woman a surprised look when she advised him to keep his mind open to things. He wondered if she had somehow picked up on his like of Psychic-type Pokemon, nodding.
"I'll try my best to keep a open mind about capturing different types of Pokemon, ma'am." Arata agreed, following after her closely. He stopped when she did, watching Gale curiously. When she spoke up and stated what Pokemon Gale was going to choose Arata gave her a surprised look, noticing the flash of purple and realized that the woman might be a psychic herself.
When Professor Elm spoke Arata jumped before focusing him and approaching the scanner.
"Ah, yes sir. Thank you, sir." Arata braced himself, placing his hand firmly onto the scanner and waited to see what his choices would be.

Kaiser: As the boy put his hand on the scanner, the loading screen displaying the pathetic flopping magikarp was displayed. After a few moments the wonderclaw descended from the ceiling and began to grab the pokeballs belonging to his choices. First was a Litwik, which slowly rotated and many arrows pointed to its features. The same thing happened with the next choice, a Goldeen, but this time it warned of its limited time on land but its power when in water. The final choice was a Whismur, which displayed how wide it opened its mouth as it used its sound attacks. All three choices lined up on the screen. Of course these were just 3D models, not the actual pokemon themselves. Gale watched all the options spinning infront of him, as he figured, this was a fancy piece of equipment and no wonder why he had never seen one before, it worked for the sole purpose of giving new trainers a set of otions to choose their starter pokemon of. The boy watched intently as the Magikarps spun and gave away the three options, a Litwik, a Goldeen and a Whismur. Gale's eyes grew wide and gleamy as he saw the Goldeen and after vaguely listening to the downside of the pokemon in battle, he rushed to choose the fish pokemon.
Gale turned to Elm "excellent choice!" the man said to him in almost a congratulating tone. "just remember, Goldeen can't spend much time outside water so you'll have to take good care of it alright?" the professor continued. "don't worry professor, I will!" Gale replied rather excited. Elm smiled and after clearing his throat, pointed Gale with his eyes to the boy behind him, there were more people awaiting. "oh sorry, go ahead, you'll enjoy it!" he said to the pink haired boy as he left the room.
Gale was rushing outside when he was stopped by a kind looking older woman "hey you! don't you forget about something?" she called. Gale suddenly stopped, pokeball in hand he felt so excited he had forgotten he was to recieve a Pokedex as well. "Oh yes! the Pokedex!" the boy claimed as he facepalmed himself. The woman chuckled and asked him to follow her, leading the blode boy to where all the pokedex' were "plese choose the one you like" she told him. Gale smiled and watched amazed all the different colors of pokedex they had, but one caught his attention, a blue pokedex with yellow trims, that was his favorite combination of colors, plus it matched his sweater really well too. "I'll choose this one" he said grabbing the pokedex. The woman smiled and closed safe the rest of them "good choice" she said "now, I know you might be tempted to train only one type of pokemon, but remember, there are a lot of strong trainers out there and they all have different types of pokemon, keep in mind that you might have to catch different types as well to overcome certain tasks, plus, you might encounter pokemon you have never seen before and you would not want to let them get away just because of their typping do you?" she continued before rubbing Gale's head and leaving back to where Elm was. Gale thought for a momment, she was right, so far he had only focused on Water Type pokemon, but as she said, there are so many pokemon he had not yet seen, who know what types those are and it wouldn't be wise to let them go away just because they might not be Water Types. The boy smiled and after putting away the pokedex in his backpack he left the building.
Once outside, Gale took a deep breath, now with his Goldeen by his side, or in its pokeball really, he felt like a pokemon trainer already. The boy smiled and watched around just to find a fountain nearby. He didn't thought it twice and rushed to it, releasing his Goldeen in the fountain, he didn't minded much about the Remoraids around. Not even the Octillery bothered him as he released his goldfish pokemon there "hello Goldeen, I'm Gale, I'll be your trainer from now on" the boy introduced himself to the pokemon in a cheerfull tone, recieving an equally chatty "goldeen deen!" as respone.
