Ledyba watched the duo interact and mulled over this for a few moments, before realizing that she could see a lot more flowers and have a full stomach with the trainer with her. With a huge grin and loud buzz, she nodded firmly and allowed the Trainer to catch her.

With a smile, Arcelia pulled out a Pokeball from her bag, holding it out and gently touching the Ledyba with it. While it showed no facial emotions, Arc could tell that Pei Pei was smiling. The ghost type Pokemon was always happy to have new friends. After touching the Pokeball, the Ledyba was turned into red energy and was sucked inside. The ball shook with surprising force in Arcelia's hand. Once, twice, three times... with a click, the ball stopped shaking and Arcelia sent out her new Pokemon.
The Ledyba shook her head once released. "Ah!"
Arc held out her hand again, taking one of the Ledyba's legs and shaking it. It was a very human gesture and the Ledyba didn't quite understand, but it was fun, so she didn't mind. "Do you have a name?" Arc asked the Pokemon.
"Uhm... Name?" There was a pause. "I don't have a human name."
Arc patted the Pokemon on her head. "'s'okay." She thought for a moment, "Your name shall be... honey. Because you're sweet."
The Ledyba smiled at her new name, and Arc and her two team members continued on their way to sandgem.
Event please?

Not too far from Arc, there was a sparkle of something half-buried in the ground. When she dug it up, what she came in contact with was a Pearl. It seemed a wild Pokemon may have stolen it and buried it there, before forgetting all about it. Now, the Pearl was hers.
Found: Pearl

"Sweet!" Arc said, digging up the pearl. She was truly excited by her small find, as she was always interested in valuable items, especially things that shone, like the pearl did. She placed the pearl in a small pocket of her bag, and continued walking. As she walked, she taught Honey more English words, to try and improve the Pokemon's vocabulary. She wanted to be able to understand her Pokemon, after all. A tug on her sleeve by Pei Pei caught Arc's attention, and when she looked where the Yamask was looking, she could see Sandgem town! It was closer than she had thought, or maybe she was just too engrossed in helping Honey learn more words to notice the distance.

Michi gently placed the charmander onto the counter before dashing off into the medical supply area, picking up a antidote and hurrying back over, paying for it quickly before using the antidote on the charmander carefully, letting out a flustered sigh.
"Are you okay, Charmander? That was close..." Michi didn't quite pause to think that they had just been in the middle of a Pokemon battle and that the charmander had not been reacting positively to getting help from her and Meyrin.

The Charmander coughed loudly, exhaling some noxious sludge before hopping off the table. He didn't like the near-death experience, and as much as he hated to admit it, he had lost the fight and even needed a human to carry him all the way here for the medication. With a glare, he walked away from the human and her Pokèmon- but suddenly, in front of the entrance, he stopped. "Can I trust you?" he implored in English. It wasn't even a question, it was a demand that he wanted an answer for. He placed his paw in front of the glass, waiting for a response. The human had just saved his life, he couldn't just walk away from the trainer. However, he didn't want to be deemed weak just because he needed to repay his debt. Charmander's dilemma was apparent in his creased brow and impatient flame.

Neina watched the battle, eyes glinting, but wanted to look good in front of Cole and continued following his lead by merely supporting his Pokemon but not giving them battle advice. Sandile turned toward Cayden now and both his Chingling and the Sand Croc were advancing, ganging up the Minccino. The fluffy gray rodent squealed and Ryan looked up angrily, darting forward to protect his friend. At noticing the oncoming sandstorm, Ryan ducked down but began to slowly spin. The sand, if not too intense, was actually a good thing for chinchillas. In fact, sand baths were how they naturally cleaned themselves in the wild. Now sparkling with a newly "washed" coat, the Minccino tried to hold out but Ryan the Ekans came lunging forward to try and distract the foes. His eyes glowed a fierce scarlet red hue and he dove in between the foes and his new teammate, trying to buy time with a Leer tactic. Cayden smiled and whispered his thanks and charged forward for a Pound on the Sandile and Ryan slithered on and curled his body around the Chingling in an attempt at Wrap, wanting to give the bell Pokemon a taste of its own medicine. --- A trainer was watching as Harry's egg hatched. He had arrived late and only saw the egg glowing pink briefly for a moment and could not hear anything, though from the dopey looks on the gathered human and Pokemon's faces, it looked as though they were listening carefully. As soon as the egg glowed and hatched, the boy was delighted and grinned wide, happy for an introductory comment. He approached Harry playing with his newly hatched Kabuto and coughed. "Hey there, I'm Nick," he began. Nick had long black hair and wore a green shirt with khaki slacks. A Honedge was slunk over his shoulder like a blade, his ribbon secured like a shoulder-strap, and a Ninjask buzzed nearby. His Pokemon looked strong and it was obvious he was experienced. "I've been traveling a long time but I have a new catch you might be interested in seeing." Suddenly, a little shelled creature squirmed around from behind Nick's pant leg and revealed itself. The Omanyte crawled forward and giggled a bit at the sight of a Kabuto. "I just caught this one in the Underground. Likely she was an offspring of a released revived Pokemon." He shrugged. "Obviously your Pokemon is too young to battle but this one isn't, she's just inexperienced. Would you fancy a battle against her with another of your Pokemon?" --- Theo and Newt's strategy was a good one and though teleporting so quickly made it difficult for Emeric and Zander to control their Pokemon, the experienced Ranger partners were highly prepared for handling unexpected situations. Theo might have thought he was getting the upper hand in attacking the fluffy sheep-like Mareep from above but this tactic only angered her and she shouted loudly and her coat began to sizzle and spark as a warning. With a loud cracking noise, the Wool Pokemon flung the unwelcome rider from her back and snorted, hoping her Static ability had properly punished the Abra by paralyzing him for his nasty tactics. Chatot, meanwhile, had been hit by the Poison Sting and hit good and he shuddered for a moment before taking flight, nimbly chasing after the escaping, swinging bug. The parrot creature's beak began to glow as he dove in for a Peck, not at the Worm Pokemon itself but at his String Shot lifeline. The drop wasn't too far but it would hopefully buy enough time to land more damage if Chatot were successful in cutting the silky goo strands in time...

Michi winced at the sight of the noxious sludge, sending a apologetic look towards the cashier. She watched him head for the door, surprised when he suddenly stopped and look at her.
"After that, I hope you can trust me." Michi responded cautiously, fighting down a impulse to burst out that the charmander could trust her since often people who said such couldn't be trusted.
"You can trust Michi~ She's really nice and kind~ I've known her since she was born and she's never hurt a pokemon intentionally before~ Meyrin chirped birghtly.

While Sandgem looked close, Arcelia was surprised to find that it was actually still kind of far, but eventually, Arc and her team had arrived in the town. The town itself seemed like it would usually be a sleepy town, but at this time it was busy, especially around a particular building, which Arc assumed would be Prof. Rowan's lab. She always felt a little bit uncomfortable in large crowds, mostly a left over feeling from when she used to steal as a kid. That was many years ago, however, and she had no compulsion to steal anymore. Honey perched on her head as Arc walked towards the crowd with Pei Pei hovering close by. The ghost-type took up very little space, considering that the spectral parts of the Pokemon could pass through other people and objects. "Stick closer, Pei Pei," Arc warned, "I don't want you getting stolen or somethin'."

The Chingling fell backwards, futilely attempting to use Astonish in order to prevent himself from getting Wrapped. It was too late as the Ekans wrapped around him, and the Chingling let out a howl of pain. Seeing as the Sand Tomb did nothing to faze the Miccino, Sandile changed her target to the Ekans and lunged, ready to Bite it in order to allow Chingling to go free. Chingling glowed ominously in the Ekans's grip, before suddenly letting out a loud chirp in a well-placed Astonish attack. ------ Kabuto chirped happily seeing an Omanyte and Harry scrambled up, almost falling over in the process. He looked down at his feet, mulling over this for a few moments before clutching Kabuto to himself protectively. He really disliked battling, and quickly shook his head. "...No thanks," he stated at last, declining the trainer's offer without maintaining any form of eye contact throughout. Clutching his Kabuto to himself, he ran away from the other boy before any more questions could be asked about him. After limping and falling countless times through the grass, Harry emerged from Lake Verity and made his way to Sandgem to get his Kabuto checked. That way, he could finally give it a nickname. ------ The Charmander turned his gaze back to the duo. At last, he swallowed and returned to under the human's feet, still staring intensely at her. "I'm indebted to you. Hence, here. Do what you need to," He raised his paws in a gesture similar to surrender, waiting for the gavel to fall and for his capture to be completed. From how he spoke English, it was almost inferred that he had been around humans for a long time- could it be that he had been freed by his previous trainer? Whatever it was, Charmander was mentally prepared for capture. He squeezed his eyes shut, waiting for the Pokèball to consume him.

Michi watched the Charmander quietly, startled when he return to her feet. She felt her heart beat a bit fast in realizing that he meant that he would allow her to catch him. She wondered if he had been abused and abandoned by a different trainer, feeling upset at the thought. She was determined to show him if that was the case, not all humans were like that.
She just needed to buy balls first. "S-sorry~! I need a minute, um... to buy balls... It'll be just a moment, though." Michi hurriedly went and got supplies, buying several balls, a potion, another antidote, a Explorers Kit, a Holo-caster, a fishing rod, and a Pretty Wing.
After paying, she selected one of the balls, which was white with a red ring around the middle. She offered it to the Charmander, gently tapping the button against his head.
"Michiiii..." Meyrin sighed softly, watching closely as the charmander was sucked into the ball.

Despite Arc's wariness, the crowd seemed to devouring her and her Pokemon friends slowly as she drew nearer and nearer and suddenly she was surrounded by the mob without a clear idea of who exactly was nearby or how she had gotten so close to the inner part of the mob. People began to grow impatient and loud shouting broke out in something that sounded like a brawl. A boy was lying on the ground, holding his nose and crying. Arc felt a tapping on her shoulder from behind and a young kid with short turquoise hair was standing behind her, trying to crane his neck to see the fallen kid. The boy smiled, flashing a gaping smile of many missing teeth and remarked, "Looks like that must've hurt. I suppose that's what you get when you try to start a battle inside a mob though. Anyways, I've got an item and you look like the kind of girl looking for a trade. How's about it?" He held up a journal filled with detailed notes on all sorts of subjects. Clearly it had some information on league regulations and movepools, how to train Pokemon and proper care and feeding of species, helpful hints in forming successful battle strategies and stuff. "This Journal is pretty handy, I can tell. I nicked it off a trainer passing by and judging by the crowd of paparazzi he brought with him, it's probably worth something if he's as good a trainer as they seemed to think. Do we have a deal?" Suddenly a loud, gruff, deep voice cut in, "Lonnie, you can't have a monopoly on the trades, you know? The girl's gotta know she has options." A tall, dark-skinned man interrupted and pushed the boy, Lonnie, aside. "Kids, eh? He wants to help, I'm sure but his wares are generally worthless. If you're looking for a real steal, I've got a product here right for you. Would you be willing to part with anything for this beautiful Vs. Seeker?" he asked, holding up the glinting device. A girl in a green frock and sandals careened over to the pair and smiled wide in a fierce, bold, and flowery manner, "Excuse me, is there a problem? Not trying to back the girl into a corner are we, Gil?" The tall man frowned and snorted, "In your dreams, Cheryl, go away and leave us alone. The girl is my trade customer now, so beat it." The girl shook her head and laughed in a tinkling, fake way. "As if, I have a wonderful new ware for her to inspect," she held up a beaten up but well-used and reliable Wailmer Pail, "and now that she's got her choices, she can offer a worthy trade item of considerable value to whomever she wishes or she can leave and trade with none of us." She smiled in a truly genuine way for the first time now, looking directly at Arc and her Pokemon, and gestured toward herself, Gil, and Lonnie and the three waited expectantly for a response.

Arc was ready to help the fallen boy when she was tapped on the shoulder. She grimaced and turned around towards the kid. He was selling stolen wares, something that Arc most did not want to buy. She'd be just as bad as the thief if she did. It was then that two other people came up to her, offering their wares. She honestly had no interest in a Wailmer Pail or the Stolen Journal, nor did she fancy the Vs. Seeker (she didn't even know what it really did). "No, thanks," she said in a deadpan, before moving through the crowd to assist the fallen boy. "Hey, kid. You okay?" She asked him. She generally didn't care about people, but she felt the need to help out people in a particularly disadvantageous situation.

KizzyA Phantump watched the pair closely and warily from a distance. It seemed disinterested in making contact, since it was comfortable in the trees. However, there was a connection with the Noibat since they were both Kalos-native Pokèmon. Calmly, it floated down from its perch in a tree and stared hollowly at the duo. Phantump, level 10 Nip was tending to his numb wing, when it heard something familiar. "HMM?" He twisted his head to look behind his trainer, and saw a floating stump! "Hey! A Phantump! I remember you guys!" the noibat chirped, excited to see someone else from Kalos. "Hey hey, Q! Put me down!" He flailed, and she let him go quickly. "Calm down Nip...A..A phantump!" Quez nodded, watching the floating bark staring at them. "Hello..!" The ghostly pokemon before her didn't seem to be weak, a local? Nip waddled up to the Kalosian and held out its winged paw in a shake, "How's it hanging in Sinnoh? Not as nice as Kalos right?"

The fallen boy smiled weakly and accepted the help. He stopped crying because he didn't want to embarrass himself in front of this girl but he continued to clench his nose. He spoke in a nasally tone, apologizing, "Sorry about that. I didn't realize I would get beaten up. All I did was ask for a battle. When trainers lock eyes, they have to battle, right? Well, I certainly don't want to battle the guy who punched me in the face anymore." The pink haired boy curiously looked at Arc and her Pokemon, Honey and Pei Pei. "Say...after we meet the Professor...do you want to have a battle?" The boy produced a Pokeball and looked eager to test his skills. He, too, was a new trainer, after all.
