The nurse smiled and nodded, noting the boy's attire and state, he was clearly a Pokemon trainer. She asked for Newt's trainer ID and when he presented it to her, she swiped it and handed him a key card to let him into a room in the back. The charge was automatically deducted from his account linked with his ID and the whole matter was simple and easy. Upon entering his new room, Newt would find a small but comfortable bed and an adjoining bathroom and night table to keep his things and a small loveseat in the corner. It was very cozy but not exactly cramped. On the bedside table was another one of those flyers found all around the Pokemon Center advertising some of the other facilities found at the Center in Sandgem, such as a spa and a training arena. Newt found his way to the back, slowing down when seeing other trainers. It was always interesting to find out what different kinds of Pokemon had been taken to the area by others. The variety of exotic, domestic, and local Pokemon was astonishing. After getting glares from some of the more experienced trainers he stopped. They didn't seem very welcoming, but it made no difference to him. He knew that someday, even if that day was fifty years from then, he would be at the same level as them and they couldn't look down on him.
When he finally reached his room, he released his other two Pokemon. Elliot and Motus were rather understanding of the situation and didn't mind that they were in there for so long. It was just nice to them to be able to spend the night out with their trainer. Newt looked around, surveying the surroundings of his room. He quickly noticed the flier and began reading up on the various things offered at the Pokemon Center. Once reaching the training arena he became interested. He knew that Elliot was close to evolution and would only take a few more battles with some solid learning experience and toughening to make it all happen. It was the perfect opportunity.
Newt checked the clock. It was only a few hours until most people would be off to bed. There was no clear indication of when the training arena closed, but it was definitely worth checking. He slung his back back over his shoulder and lifted Elliot from the bed. The boy positioned his arms carefully around the poisonous limbs of the Cascoon in order to prevent any negative health effects. Motus and Theo walked at the sides of their trainer, unsure of what was to come.
Upon arriving at the arena, Newt pulled at the handle to the door. He assumed that if the door wasn't locked, it was open.

The Poliwags happily began jumping in through the window, forming a staircase for each other as the fifty small tadpoles began filling up the floor of the room. At last, Politoed climbed in upon noticing the last Poliwag safely indoors, shutting the window behind her as she did. The Poliwags gathered around as Politoed began telling an intriguing bedtime story- a story of an enormous whale creature that summoned rains whenever it surfaced, and how it often clashed with another creature that expanded lands and created droughts. The tadpoles listened perkily at first, before beginning to doze off one after another. Politoed only began to rest when she was certain all her charges were asleep, letting out a soft but soothing croaky noise as the large green frog slept with their new friend. ---- Harry seemed mildly disappointed at the Dratini darting away, and Schutzen made a disapproving noise before levitating the Scale from the ground. He telepathically dusted it off, informing Harry of the odd evolutionary item they had just obtained. Harry nodded in response, carefully dusting himself off before he was caught by his Sigilyph from a loss of balance. The boy reddened a few shades, using Schutzen's tail to anchor himself before he continued making his way to the Move Tutor's place. It was not too far now, and Harry could see the quaint cottage right ahead. Raising a hand, he knocked before waiting politely outside.
Move Tutor event please!

A loud crying could be heard from the boxing-arena-like field in the center of the training area. A small pink and blue creature was fighting a light blue lioness foe. The Mime Jr. was relentlessly tickling his enemy and then jumped about on one leg and hopped forward again, diving in for a Double Slap that lasted for a quite a while. At the end, the Shinx was looking bloody and a bit bruised as a result and she swooned and looked dizzy. Her trainer, a young girl with pigtails, cried out for the opponent to stop and the Mime Jr. took a step back under his trainer's command. A tall woman in a red jumpsuit stood at the corner with folded arms. The young girl handed over some cash as winnings for the battle and cried, returning her barely conscious partner and running quickly to the front of the Pokemon Center to heal her friend. The woman at the corner of the ring sneered at all of the others and her Mime Jr. looked confident and trilled happily. The lady, who was very tall in fact, looked around the room and called out, "Who wants to challenge me next?" The boxing ring was quite small for a battleground and it was mostly pristine except for the small amount of wet blood from the previous challenger's Shinx. "Well then?" --- A young man exited the cottage door and smiled at Harry as he entered the outside of his home. "Why hello there!" the man greeted. He was short and squat, a bit on the portly side, and wore a Hawaiian shirt with ugly bright colors and pastel shorts and flip flops. His beach attire seemed appropriate given the climate but still looked a bit unprofessional and ridiculous. "Ah, are you here to see me? My name is Ronald, you can just call me Ron, and I'm the Beach Rose Move Tutor. Well, that's not entirely fair, there are a few young lads vying for my spot but I'm the best in town so you certainly can't go wrong. Give me a sec," he paused with a strange expression on his face. He turned around, opened the door, and shouted loudly, "MARVIN! RUFUS! WE HAVE COMPANY!" He turned back apologetically to Harry and a Chimecho and Medicham strode outside purposefully a moment later, apologizing in turn for lateness.
The Medicham carried a large leatherbound book under his arm and explained as he held it up to Harry in a splendid, crisp accent, "We have this book, officially printed by the Pokemon Association, that details all legal Move Tutor certifiable moves. We charge a Heart Scale per move and for each, you can search through by your Pokemon's national dex number and find the list of moves we can legally teach them. We'll spend most of the afternoon practicing with you and showing you how to perfect the moves (though I should warn you that not all Pokemon are capable of mastering every move available to their species and some take longer than others as well but we'll do our best and discuss refunds if it actually comes to that) and then before we part ways, we'll issue you certificates for the moves and send legal paperwork to the Pokemon Association as backups to prove the legality of your move use and it'll be up to you to practice and train from there to actually perfect the move itself. If you'd please select the moves you'd wish us to teach your Pokemon and pay us upfront, we can get started almost immediately." --- Neina and her Pokemon slept until late the next morning. As she woke, she noticed that everyone else seemed to be asleep still. The pink haired youth got out of bed slowly, careful not to disturb the curled up fuzzball that was Cayden nor the huddled mass of Pyra and Emmett nor the wiggly, sprawled coiling mass that was Ryan. She brushed her teeth and combed through her messy hair and washed her face, trying to look presentable but use little running water so as to not wake anyone still. She wanted them to get rested while they had the chance, this would be the Poliwag herd's (probably) first and (probably) last night ever in a Pokemon Center and human living space so she wanted them to have good, rested memories of their time spent there and how calming it had been. They seemed rather scared of humans to an extent from what Cayden had relayed to her and it concerned her that wild Pokemon would be untrusting of humans, somewhat naively she believed that they should instinctively trust in humans to a certain extent. Regardless, the girl finished up getting ready and then walked back into the adjoining bedroom on tiptoe. Careful still not to wake anyone, Neina spotted something in the corner of the room, just peeking out from under the night table but she could tell it was not hers, whatever it was. She crouched low to the ground and grabbed for it to pick it up. Item?

From what Neina had seen, it appeared to be a small sack of EnergyPowder. There was enough for a few uses, and it was probably forgotten. The Poliwags began to stir, making sleepy puffy noises as they began to wiggle one after another like atoms of a liquid in an atomic model. The Politoed yawned too, stretching like a human before rubbing her eyes like a small child. It was odd to sleep on the floor and not grass, or in the water for that matter. The Poliwags huddled around each other for warmth due to their porous skin, and Politoed searched the place for food.
EnergyPowder obtained, 3 charges ---- Harry smiled at the duo, and tugged at Schutzen. "T-Teach Schutzen moves," stated Harry, and the Sigilyph bobbed about in a mixture of shyness and confusion, "Teach strong moves. Sky Attack!" Sky Attack? sputtered the Sigilyph mentally, searching in vain for any sign of Harry being delusional, That's a very strong move that's not easily obtained! You should save it for later. Noticing Harry's resolve, he grew quiet as he released Kate and Scout to show the Move Tutor. He pointed to Kate, and searched for the move he wanted, pointing at the one he had in mind. "Teach Drain Punch," he stated at Kate, knowing that with Ice Beam from before, Kate needed a new move with possible Mega Evolution. With a confident grin, he turned to Scout and saluted his Grovyle before returning to the Move Tutor once more. "Frenzy Plant," he stated finally, pointing at his surprised Grovyle.

Newt was taken aback by the brutal fight that ended before him. He hoped that the Shinx would be alright, but there was no way to be sure. The boy made a note to himself to check later with the lady at the front desk. Then, the call to fight rang through the arena. It was attracting to Newt, but at the same time extremely terrifying due to the state of the last competitor. Then, he began to consider the battle strategy of the Mime Jr. It had used Tickle and Double Slap together to cause the most damage to the Pokemon. Elliot wouldn't have a problem with that. In fact, it would help the fight. The poison spines would do nothing but aid in any damage dealt by the cocoon. He switched his attention to the ceilings after. They seemed low enough for a String Shot to hit and turn the Cascoon into a spiky wrecking ball.
"We do," Newt said quietly, stepping forward.

A tall teenage girl loomed nearby and jumped out of the bushes suddenly. Several squawking Starly took flight out of fear and fled the scene immediately. The girl smiled and sized up Michi. "So, you're a fellow trainer, eh? I'm Anna and I'm an explorer! I'm on a hunt for rare and exciting Pokemon and I think I've found a Suicune nearby!" The girl held up several fuzzy photographs and a magnifying glass and a plaster-mold footprint and a few purple hairs. "I think it's really likely I'm hot on his trail." Suddenly, a loud rustling came from the same bush again as an Elekid hopped out. "Anna, you wandered off without me again!" the Pokemon reprimanded. The yellow Electric type wore a monocle over his right eye and appeared to have a mustache drawn onto his upper lip. "Hello there, I'm Leopold and this is my charge, Anna. She's a bit rambunctious and imaginative, forgive her," the Pokemon interjected, apologizing to the strange girl. "And you are...?"
Michi was startled when the teenaged girl jumped out, taking a step back herself before giving the other girl a bright and friendly smile in greeting her. She was slightly surprised in hearing the excited chatter, but perked up slightly at the mention of a suicune being in the area even if she somewhat doubted it'd be possible to catch up to it. "Yes, I am~ My name is Michi, it's nice to meet you~ But a suicune? Really? Those are... the blueish legendary dog-cat things, right? I heard people mention one once, but I don't know much about-" Michi paused when the Elekid appeared, giving hims a surprised look, a bit taken aback at the sight of the monocle and the mustache adorning his upper lip, drawn or not. "I'm Michi, Leopold. Charge...? Are you her partner? But it's fine. She gave me a big surprise, but no harm done at all, Mister Leopold. I was just on my way to Sandgem Town. Are you two heading there as well?"

Neina grabbed the strange bag of powder and put in her bag to analyze later. As the Politoed and her charges began to wake up, the trainer shook all of her Pokemon companions awake. Cayden and Ryan were quick to wake, and Cayden began to clean himself immediately, working to make his fur look shiny and presentable. Then the Minccino went to work on Ryan, trying to help buff his scales to make them look prettier and the pair chatted happily. Pyra and Emmett woke up a bit fussy, Pyra questioning where Damien was to start before remembering and looking a bit sad. Emmett, on the other hand, yawned tiredly and smiled like a perfectly content little Squirtle. Neina returned the baby Squirtle to his Pokeball to be safe and picked up the young Torchic in her arms, cuddling the warm bird and trying to comfort her. She watched happily as Ryan and Cayden were getting along and was impressed at how quickly the Ekans seemed to be helping her longtime friend and childhood playmate loosen up and get more comfortable at practicing with his lesser-used native tongue. --- The Medicham and Chimecho looked at one another and nodded in unison, apparently communicating with one another via telepathy. The Move Tutor and Harry stepped off to settle payment as the Medicham held out his hands to the Buneary and Grovyle and looked calm. The more excitable Chimcho floated ahead toward the Sigilyph. The Medicham began by introducing himself as Rufus via telepathy and joining himself to Kate and Scout via three-way telepathy. I apologize if this is uncomfortable but it is the easiest way for me to help you learn, he explained placidly. The Chimecho curled around Schutzen for a strange hug before breaking away and looking serene. The Chimecho introduced himself as Marvin and began to display images of Pokemon utilizing the move Harry had chosen, Sky Attack. Then it showed how Schutzen would look using the technique and began to explain in diagrams and models how to best begin mastering the technique. Marvin showed step-by-step instructions, beginning with some breathing exercises and aerial navigation and safety guidelines. A lot of this was League-mandated nonsense but it was necessary regardless, because a move needed to at least meet Pokemon Association guidelines to be considered executed properly, otherwise Harry might be liable for damages Schutzen could cause in battle. Rufus began to walk Scout and Kate through the same process and led them over to a small target a few yards away from where they stood. He instructed them to attempt to invoke the necessary powers they were trying to master and work to aim further and further until they could reach the target (with Kate being expected to prepare whilst running at the target and hitting properly). Marvin, however, was still communicating with Schutzen and now instructed him to rise into the air with the Chimecho so they could together practice the aerial diving techniques from higher in the sky and work on maneuvering with extra space to start off. --- The tall lady and her Mime Jr. seemed to sneer confidently as Newt entered the ring. Unsure of which of his Pokemon he might use and not wanting to attack mistakenly, the woman was forced to wait and allow her opponent to make his decision first. This annoyed the hasty trainer, who sighed impatiently and tapped her foot. She gestured to herself and her Pokemon quickly in a tired, rushed manner and snapped, "I'm Fenna. And that's Bozo. Choose your Pokemon, one and one and all that nonsense, standard league regulations blah blah blah, y'know? So can we puh-lease get moving this started?" Her Mime Jr. danced around excitedly and looked eerily blissful for a Pokemon that had just finished beating another bloody not a few moments ago and his trainer continued to look impatient and frowned. --- Leopold nodded and Anna scampered off again, though she was still within sight. She seemed to be inspecting a patch of earth in the clearing and the Elekid that claimed to be her caretaker was keeping a watchful eye on the girl as he nodded at Michi curtly and apologized, "Well, we're very sorry about the shock she gave you. She gave me quite a fright as well as she ran off. And now here she is doing it again, you can tell. Well, she is quite excitable, obviously. And very determined. We're not going toward Sandgem, as it happens, because we just came from that direction. Anna found a clue that she believes will lead us to the legendary Suicune back a ways and we headed on and now are doubling back for the umpteenth time. She insists its worth it to throw him off our track." The Elekid shrugged and looked uncaring. "Well, we're heading toward Lake Verity anyways, though who knows when we'll finally end up by the lakefront. It was nice meeting you, good day to you!" he waved and bowed politely and Anna waved goodbye before the pair jumped back into the bushes again.

Kate listened about Drain Punch. It was a punching technique that also took away a bit of the user's life forces, and the Buneary seemed confused and terrified listening to how she had to go about doing it. "You'll be fine," comforted Scout, still unnerved by the telepathy but still trying to focus. The Grovyle crossed his thin arms, trying to will the giant tree he had seen from the book earlier to invoke Frenzy Plant. The ground only rumbled slightly, with no sign of any tree appearing. Kate, on the other hand, had gotten the hang of the punching aspect of Drain Punch (after all, it was in her blood), but still was unable to utilize draining yet. After mangling the target used, the Buneary pulled up her fluffy 'pants' and looked at the Medicham. "H-How do you drain...?" she whimpered at last, confused.
Schutzen cast a worried glance at his owner for a few moments. I'll be right back. he informed Harry, before he flapped his odd wings and took to the skies. The Sigilyph knew how difficult it was for Harry to express himself when he wasn't around, but Schutzen could see the boy smiling from under him and felt an odd wave of relief. Schutzen took a deep breath, trying to cloak himself in a harsh light as depicted. ---- The Relocation Center appeared to be open. Politoed pushed the window open, leading her pack of Poliwags out of the Center with a few heaves and a Poliwag staircase. The Poliwags soon managed to wiggle out and Politoed waited patiently for Neina to get ready so that they could continue on their travels.

Newt sighed, not feeling like audibly responding to this woman. He knew there would be long moments ahead where he had to call out to Elliot and everyone else in the gym would likely be watching. The trainer approached the ring itself and took position on his side. He set his Cascoon on the ground and smiled to it. "I think you'll do great," he said quietly, raising his hand to give it a friendly pat on the head but quickly stopping himself before reaching any of the poisonous barbs. "Ready."

The trainer and her Mime Jr. smiled confidently from across the small arena at Newt and Elliot. They were determined to win. The boy set down his Cascoon and backed away, saying he was ready. The Mime Pokemon put on a wide smile, taking this as an invitation to make the first move. A quick look backward signaled the human's curt, nodding assent and the small pink, blue, and red clown creature took a few steps forward, prepared a wide stance and held out both arms, shouting loudly in the Pokemon language that didn't translate directly, it appeared to be more of a war chant for the Mime Jr. and Mr. Mime species in particular. Concentrating hard, the foe imagined harsh lines of bright lights illuminating the field and encompassing the form of the enemy Cascoon. Paying particular attention to the visualization of using his Confusion attack to lift the enemy into the air above the head of his trainer, flip him onto his back, and drop the Bug type to its mercy, the Mime Jr. did his best to begin the sequence of events that would allow his specialized Psychic attack to harm the opponent without even needing to physically lay a hand on the grimy bug cocoon. --- Neina chose to walk out the front door of the Pokemon Center with her companions. It would look less suspicious that way anyway, especially since she needed to return the key to the front desk and hopping out of windows looked strange no matter the reason, even if you happened to be following a particularly friendly pack of Poliwag out of a rental room. The pink haired girl watched Ryan and Cayden move ahead of her, still engaged in a conversation she had no intention of interrupting and no way of understanding. She petted Pyra's feathery body and talked to the young chick. She attempted to reply but her English was broken and she only seemed to speak in the present tense, substituting words as she went and leaving Neina scrambling to do her best to figure the rest out.
Neina made a mental note to ask Cayden about how good her Pokemon-speak was later but assumed that as a newly hatched Pokemon growing up in a bilingual background, she figured she might just be beginning to develop both. This reminded Neina a bit of Cayden, though he had been older and more experienced in both languages when he and Neina first met. Neina was curious about the subject nonethless. The girl and the three Pokemon she had out of their Pokeballs currently trotted outside to meet up with the Politoed and her herd. Neina smiled brightly, "Shall we head over to the Relocation Center nearby and see if they're done cleaning and ready to let us hand over you-know-who?" --- Rufus nodded at Scout, encouraging him aloud now that the trio had separated for Scout and Kate to practice and the Medicham to monitor their progression and aiding their efforts, "You're doing great, young Grovyle, even though the progress looks minimal. Focus on your breathing and go back to your roots (no pun intended). You, as a Grass type, have long ago learned that it is within your blood to instinctively control the earth and plants. But your mindset is small and if your mindset is small, so your attacks will be as well. You must try to control your emotion and remember to visualize the proper technique. Dig deep within yourself to summon those vines and plants that lie even deep, deep beneath the surface. Summon them and coax them like an Arbok-charmer, you must do your best to persuade them to do your bidding, especially since you ask a hefty favor for them to surface from so far below. Remember this and you will do better and better each time. Visualize a tree and then a forest. Keep expanding your minset, never let it narrow. And don't be discouraged if you don't obtain your visualized goal, the imagination is just a means to an end in this case, even the smallest fulfillment is a great achievement."
Then the Medicham turned to Kate, who was whimpering and looking upset. Punching with her ears seemed easy to her for obvious reasons and the target dummy was quite literally mangled and destroyed, lying in a heap. She could always move to a new one...unless... "Little Buneary, Kate as I recall?" Though Kate had never offered her name, the psychic tether the two had shared even briefly was enough to reveal this tiny tidbit and Rufus hoped it would relax her even a small amount, "Kate, it's okay to not succeed but it's not okay not to try. Now, let's try again and visualize. I understand completely that this move is not an easy one to master. In fact, Drain Punch is a variant form of Giga Drain, which is actually a Grass type move to begin with. Couple that with the fact that Giga Drain is a special type attack, not a physical move like this one, makes it hard to equal. The closest equivalent is likely Horn Leech but even that is still a Grass type move and photosynthesis and energy-absorption is a very Grass-type technique in general. But it's important to remember that you're not just draining energy here, you don't only want to weaken the foe, the energy must go somewhere. You need to focus on centering yourself first and foremost and focusing on the visualization of the transference of energy. It is a difficult task, that is true, but just imagine the flow of energy. Energy is neither created nor destroyed. If that helps, imagine that for every punch you take to a foe, the energy that it takes for them to fall backward and be pushed is transferred from their own energy. But just imagine for a moment that if you took some of that energy, as you punch, it just recalled into your own body and aligned with your health and center as your ear retracted. That's the aim here with Drain Punch."
"As a Buneary, your only outstanding weakness is to Fighting types so learning Drain Punch will accord you an advantage. Fighting types are some of the toughest combat opponents found on the planet so it's relevant to say that trying to obtain some of their own Fighting energy, which goes toward stamina and strength, can really be helpful in any battle situation. Now, I'm going to offer you an option here, and it's probably very stupid and ill-advised but I think it might help you." Rufus paused here and swallowed before continuing, "Would you like me to be a sparring partner with you, Kate, to practice Drain Punch? No one would question it and my species is legally allowed to train to learn it. If anyone had a problem with it at all, my trainer being a certified Move Tutor, he could draw up a certificate in an instant and claim to be paying taxes to the association to teach me for his own gain but I doubt anyone would question the Pokemon of a Move Tutor aiding in the learning of a battle strategy. We would both be learning together as beginners and an actual foe gives you a chance to feel substantial amounts of energy flow and get feedback from me on how much your attack hurts and such. I would focus on concentrating all my energy to my psychic abilities and you should do the same with your own stamina and speed. Would you like that, Kate?"
Meanwhile, Marvin the Chimecho was busily shouting encouragement and giving advice on the directions of Schutzen's busy turning and spiraling descents. He seemed to be getting the hang of the visual effects, which was unsurprising as a Psychic type and experienced flyer (or at least levitator). But the attacking, physical aspects of the attack would take some more getting used to. Marvin flew ahead of the Sigilyph as he was still practicing and looked like a kite flapping haphazardly in the breeze. But as he reached his destination, the entire Pokemon (including his long, thin tail) became suddenly still and poised. Here's your chance to practice, Schutzen! the Chimecho called out boldly through psychic link, Use me as a target opponent. And don't you dare try to avoid it, you hired me to train you and I'm the best at what I do. Plus, you'd be insulting my incredible healing powers, which would make your flimsy and amateur attempt at Sky Attack look like an afternoon nap by the way, so there's no excuse for you to not use me as a target...at least I won't move this time!

Elliot was caught by surprise. He hadn't expected the enemy to use a non-physical attack. The bruises and cuts on the last opponent seemed so hands-on that any other form of offensive was unseen. Luckily, Newton picked up on this. He was ready to steer his Pokemon out of this situation.
"Listen, Elliot. Use String Shot to secure yourself. Y'know, like on the walls and stuff," Newton commanded, coming completely out of his usual quiet personality. It was much easier on the battlefield. Everyone around him seemed to fade away and there was nothing to be shy about. As per the instructions, the Silcoon let out 5 tight sets of strong, sticky string. Three shot straight up toward the ceiling to suspend it, and another two from each side to keep it locked in place for the moment. "Now, ready a Poison Sting. Stay safe."
The spines on the shell of the Pokemon began to glow a faint purple as it prepared for whatever outcome the Mime Jr.'s attack may bring after his own trainer's instructions.

Kate thought about this for a few moments, before at last she nodded. The Buneary adjusted the fluffy rings around her wrists, taking on a fisticuffs stance. "Ready when you are," she stated loudly in her native tongue, even though her voice was quavering slightly at facing an obviously tougher foe- the Medicham's words did nothing to reassure her at all, and Kate stopped her knees shaking by cupping her paws over them before she focused at the Medicham at last. Scout watched the Medicham draw away and mimed the Medicham's overly convoluted words with his paws, before he closed his eyes and focused. He could see the endless forest he once lived with, and all his other Treecko friends as they mingled quietly and with no will against the world. Balling his paws into fists, the ground rumbled under his feet as a tree cracked open. The roots stretched out like tendrils, utterly decimating the target dummy as they slammed down with incredible force before retracting back into the ground. Scout had not seen it, but he had succeeded.
Uhm! I'll do my best? mused Schutzen in response, cloaking himself in a harsh light in preparation of the move. The horns of the Sigilyph glowed with super-charged power as he dropped like a stone, entirely focused on attempting to hit the Chimecho as much as he could. He was moving so quickly that his entire body was enveloped in the glow, almost as if he was a beam of light that was about to crash onto the ground. ---- "Shall we head over to the Relocation Center nearby and see if they're done cleaning and ready to let us hand over you-know-who?"
Politoed chuckled and nodded, beckoning her group along as they trotted to the Relocation Center before they lingered about outside to wait for Neina to go inside. From the pen outside, a lone Graveler could be seen playing with a large, smooth chunk of obsidian before gnawing on it for a few moments and then returning to playing with it again. He seemed to be having fun. As Neina entered, a row of fish tanks lined the corridor and a sad-looking Skrelp sat at a far corner of her tank, watching the stranger with terrified eyes. A friendly Miltank could be seen waving at some passing Trainers as she wandered about a large patch of grazing hay, though she was separated by a low fence from the Trainers.
At last, Neina could see a counter. There were two people on duty- a man with a Unfezant and a girl surrounded with Electrokisses. The girl smiled, easily freeing herself from the slippery eels before heading over to the counter. She was dripping with slime, but seemed perfectly at ease.
"Hi!" she stated at the girl with a wide smile, "Are you here to adopt, drop off or both? If you're here for the first time, my cousin and I can walk you through. My boyfriend's also at the pens at the back, if you're looking to see what kind of environment we have for the Pokémon we have here. If you're here to adopt, you'd need to give some particulars, and then you can follow me as we start rehabilitating the Pokémon."
