uberchomp- As the attack came towards the lion ant pokemon, it attempted to erect a sand tomb attack to block the water, but the preparation for the attack was too slow and only a small amount of sand could come forth. The water attack was caught partially on the sand tomb atack while the rest struck the trapinch. The ground type cried out in response, very sensitive to intense moisture. With the water settling around it, the trapinch had to think fast. The water that had soaked in the ground allowed for a new attack anyway. Trapinch used its large mouth to scoop the wet soil and sand, turning and shooting it at the azumarill. Its mud slap attack was surprisingly large, as each clump of mud was practically the size of the aqua rabbit itself. Even as the first attack flew through the air, it was already scooping up more mud to launch. a ways away from the young trainer, a young lady in a a form fitting outfit and a scowl on her face watched closely. Her earring shone brightly, the keystone had been embedded into it. "Hmph. A trapinch is that much trouble for her?" The young lady held her head up high, her lopunny looked over as well, disaprovingly. "What does Steven even see in her? If he should call on anyone, it should be me." A haughty smile crept on her face. "After this battle, let's go say hello..." Azubuika was astounded at the Trapinch's speed. Although the Lion Ant Pokemon had not fully blocked Azumarill's attack, it had certainly stopped it from being a critical hit. Such stubborn power in such a small Pokemon, Azubuika thought. As the foe cried out in result to being hit by the water attack, Azubuika herself flinched at the sound of pain. She didn't intend to hurt any Pokemon, especially not for the sake of attacking it, but if it was going to be the choice of either her or the Trapinch, she would not fail to attack. "Good job, Azumarill." Her words were tossed out, not quite a congratulatory response. She didn't want to praise her Pokemon for hurting others, but at the same time, she knew there wasn't much of a choice and Azumarill performed well. It wasn't long after Azumarill's attack that its trainer had to react again. With the clumps of muddy sand slapping through the air, Azubuika had to dish out a command--and fast. "Quick, Azumarill! Aim your Water Gun at the ground to dodge the attack!" the trainer quickly snapped. Just how strong was this Trapinch? And why did it insist on attack them? Why did it seem to feel so enraged? Azuibuika's mind swelled with questions in seconds, not having battled recently. Amidst all her rushed thoughts, however, she felt a hint of pride--pride in the strength of Hoenn's Pokemon. Azumarill began to pump water into its mouth from her inner organs. It then aimed at the ground and shot the high-pressured surge of water from its mouth, shooting the Aqua Rabbit off of the sand. "Yes!" the trainer said too soon. It was when Azumarill was hit by the moist blanket of sand that the cocoa-skinned woman realized that her Water Pokemon hadn't acted fast enough. The wet earth had hit Azumarill partially while the rest of it collapsed the blue Pokemon's jet of water. "Azumarill!" the trainer called out as her Pokemon was being tossed backwards. "Shake it off, girl! It's just wet sand!" she encouraged. She was right. It was only a Ground attack; nothing a Water Pokemon like Azumarill couldn't handle. As the words finished slipping out of Azubuika's mouth, the Aqua Rabbit Pokemon leaped back onto its two feet with clumps of sand still stuck on its blue and white skin. "Use Aqua Ring to get yourself together!" the trainer quickly snapped her mind from feeling worried to focusing on the battle. More wet clumps of sand were being sent their way, and they had to do something about it fast. "Then use Rollout to dodge the attacks and get closer to the Trapinch before using Water Gun again!" she finished. Upon receiving orders, Azumarill quickly used Aqua Ring, condensing the moisture around it from the air as well as leftover water from her previous attacks. Rings of water quickly formed around the Azumarill, circling it gracefully and quickly cleaning the Azumarill of the sand that was still stuck on it and slightly curing the Pokemon of its damage. As the move was swiftly coming to an end, the rings disappeared and Azumarill sprung into the air and tucked its short limbs, ears, and tail in, forming a big ball before plopping onto the ground and rolling towards the Trapinch, avoiding clumps of sand being flung its way. It moved swiftly with the help of the Trapinch's drawing in of the ground under them. Azumarill was prepared to leap into the air in front of the Ground Pokemon and fire out another Water Gun, and Azubuika unclipped an empty PokeBall from her belt, readying to throw it at the Ground Pokemon if Azumarill's attack landed. She planned on catching the Trapinch now that she had seen its skill. Plus, if attacking the Trapinch to get some sense into it wouldn't help, maybe catching it would. It usually worked: wild Pokemon calming down knowing it was in the safety of a trainer's PokeBall--and ultimately, care.

Kaiser- galvantula caught! Kaiser watched Nidorino's Horn Attack take effect on Galvantula, sending the pokemon flying through the are several feet away. To his surprise and happines, the electric spider was no longer able or willing to move, Kaiser took his chance, throwing the pokeball at the Galvantula to try to catch it. The pokeball hit the pokemon on its abdomen and sucked it inside before falling to the ground shaking, Nidorino huffed, he knew that if the Galvantula scaped he'd had to battle again, and he was not in condition to do so. It took a few seconds, but in the end, the pokeball stood still, Galvantula had been caught! Kaiser smiled and turned to Nidorino who sighed in relief before collapsing to the ground exahusted. After returning Nidorino to his pokeball for a well deserved rest, Kaiser moved to pick up Galvantula's pokeball. Happy to have caught his first pokemon in Hoenn, he put the pokeball in his belt before returning to the city. Upon entering the building, Kaiser went to one of the jewerly shops, up to this point, most trainers have already left the Gym and have taken their Key Stones to be displayed in jewerly, maybe it was time for him to do the same. Kaiser talked to the owner, signaling him a wristband, similar to a regular Mega Ring, but with a design of two dragons around the holding space, remembering to tell him he was sent by Steven Stone. As the jewerly shop owner asked him to return later, Kaiser took the chance to go to the Pokemon Center so he could heal both his pokemon. As soon as they were ready, the trainer returned to the jewerly shop to recieve his Dragon Ring, as named by the owner, and put it on leaving the place. After leaving the jewerly shop, Kaiser passed by the PokeMart to get some supplies before leaving the city on his assigned quest. It took him a while to decide on wether to go north or south, but given going south would mean to go by sea, and most of his pokemon were not suited for that enviroment, Kaiser decided to go north. Leaving Mauville City to the north, through Route 111, it didn't took Kaiser long to see the desert in the distance, although something else caught his attention around him. Event Please?

Uberchomp- Although the ant lion pokemon's eyesight was poor, it could feel that it's attacks were not connecting. Its ability to sense vibrations in the ground more than compensated. It wasn't until the opponent was no longer on the ground that trapinch got nervous. It wouldn't be able to shoot off many attacks with enough accuracy to land a hit. Visibly frustrated, the trapinch quickly dug it's way underground. Above ground it was slow, but underground, it was relatively swift. The upturned earth from above gave away it's location for the most part, leading in random directions around the clearing, but soon after, the indicator of its location began to disappear and reappear in a different location. It seemed that trapinch was going further underground. It was quiet now. The only sounds heard were the still moving funnel of sand and the sound of high heels clopping forward.
"Would you look at that, you scared it away." A tall woman with flashy clothes and even flashier earrings stepped forward. "To think my precious Steven Baby chose you to work on this mission too." Her mouth showed a sly smile, and her voice was more condescending than anything. "If you can't tell when a battle is over and when to throw a pokeball, you aren't really fit to be a trainer, are you?" Her grin turned into a toothy smile as she cackled to herself. The roaring laughter of the rude woman covered the light rumbling coming from underneath. In just a few seconds, upturned earth came up behind the woman, traveling past her and closer to azumarill. The ant lion pokemon shot up from the ground in a mighty leap, apparently backing up far for the task, only to quickly return. The woman's cackle had ceased as her prediction on the battle had been proven wrong. She could only watch the rest of the battle as of now.
Kaiser-
A soothing rattling sound seemed to be echoing around the area. It resembled the sound of dried beans in a dried gourd. As the trainer continued walked, the sound only grew louder, this time with laughter mixed in. In the distance, a trio of odd green pokemon, covered in spikes, were shaking their bodies and dancing to each other's music. Their bright yellow eyes and large frowned ears were a refreshing sight in the almost barren area. The dancing and even the rattling soon ceased, as two of the three pokemon had noticed the trainer and danced away. The final one simply looked around to leave ten why it's playmates had left so hastily.
Maractus found: male, approx. Lv 22

Kaiser watched the group of Maractus dancing around, it was interesting, he had never seen such pokemon before, ell, that was to expect, he had never ever been to a desert either so he would not likely see any Maractus or pokemon alike in his life. The trainer took his pokedex to get some info on the pokemon "Maractus, the Cactus POkemon. It uses an up-tempo song and dance to drive away the bird Pokémon that prey on its flower seeds. Arid regions are their habitat. They move rhythmically, making a sound similar to maracas." the pokedex voice read. Maybe it was the pokedex that gave away his position or maybe they just saw him, but two out of the three MAractus left almost immediately, only leaving one behind. Kaiser thought for a momment, shoudl he try to catch this pokemon? Maybe just a battle? He was unsure to do anything so instead, he turned away, the one Maractus left had not even noticed him, and it didn't seem like a pokemon he'd have on his team anyway so it was better to leave it alone and instead continue his quest.
It didn't took Kaiser long to pas through ROute 111 to Route 112 and from there reach Mt. Chimney's base. From this point though, he couldn't tell if going through the Fiery Path or taking the transport to the top and from there going to to Lavaridge town and check on the Gym there. To clear his mind, as well as to have some rest, Kaiser decided to get into the side of the route and camp for a while to think, maybe after having some food he'd be able to take one of the paths...

Kaiser shrugged, it was clear that the Peck wans't as effective as he expected, and the Galvantula even had time to prepare a counter attack. The trainer saw how the pokemon prepared to release the Electro Ball against Nidorino, he had to find a way to at least, minimize the damage "Nidorino, use Poinson Stings!" he called. Nidorino roared/grunted in agreement as released a barrage of poisonous barbs against the electric spider. Kaiser awaited, the Poison Stings were supposed to hit the Electro Ball in mid air and hopefully stop it from advancing against Nidorino, but given Nidorino's paralized state, he was not sure what would happen. SpeshalThe Swinub finished muching on the berry that rolled out of the girl's pouch but before it could loaf around, it was presented with yet another berry. Swinub didn't need more convincing at this point, free food was always a wlecome gift and if this girl was tru to her words, food would never be a misswith her. Swinub moved its head to look at Carli and emiting a happy chirp, the pokemon ate the second berry on one bite before pressing the pokeball with its forehead. The pokeball opened and dragged the Swinub inside of it, there was no need for Carli to put the pokeball on the ground as it only shook, slightly, a couple times before staying still, the Swinub had been caught. Carli stared at the ball, unsure of what her next move should be. She shuffled through her backpack for a marker to label her new capture. In only a few strokes she had some recognizable symbol just above the button that would help her to distinguish it from the others. Immediately after she pressed it to release the Swinub. It was overjoyed to be released so quickly and rubbed against her legs and gave out an appreciative snort. The trainer took out her somehow pristine Pokedex and scanned the small hug again. It revealed the approximated power level and gender. There was no clear indication of personality yet so she was unable to decide what to name it. It felt wrong, but it would feel even more wrong later if it had an ill-fitting name. The grouped rested on the side of the road, all trying to get to know the new member.
The group finished their hellos and short Pokemon introductions before continuing down the route. Carli held the light fuzzball in her arms, leaving Bailey to walk on the ground for once. She didn't mind, though. It gave her a chance to pluck and eat a few wild berries on their way to Slateport. It would likely be until the next morning that they ate, anyways, so it wouldn't hurt. Penn flew above the group, scouting the route for any possible disruption. Charlie traveled slightly ahead of the group, levitating a bit above the ground. Flight had been a new thing for the Dragonair. Before evolution, it rarely even jumped off the ground. Now if it wasn't resting it was normally flying. Carli began humming the tune to a popular song, not paying much attention to her surroundings.

Kaiser- A deep rumbling could be heard from afar. Deep echoing and falling leaves allowed for the direction to be pinpointed. Beside the mountain, coming out of the forest, a large metal pokemon ran out. It was an aggron. Its heavy steps rocked the area, causing smaller pokemon to flee. but something was strange. The Aggron seemed to be running as well. It wasnt long before the source was exposed. A small orange and tan pokemon was right behind it, swiftly chasing it high through the trees. It jumped and spun quickly, powering it up its right fist to strike. Its right arm was covered in a green energy, slowly moving to its fist and focusing. With a final thrust from the nearestg tree, the small pokemon caught up with the aggron, shocking the metal montser. upon closer inspection, the orange pokemon was as heavily damaged as the aggron, but its agility had not faltered. The pokemon used its momentum to finish the attack, jumping up to deliver its punch. The aggron roared in pain as it fell back. The small orange pokemon was revitalized, landing calmly and bowing slightly. "That's enough mienfoo." A calm voice said from close by. The mienfoo's trainer appeared before it, dressed in full martial arts garb. "It appears...Aggron wasnt a challenge either." She looked forward to meet eyes with the other trainer. "You...would you care to battle?" Trainer found: Jun Yao Speshal- "Ow, ow ow!" A young boy in what seemed to be basketball clothing emerged from the nearby bushes. He had small cuts on his legs from the thorn bushes. "Why would a plant want to hurt me? Hmph. nature is cruel." His manner of speaking was a bit immature, and he seemed to be compensating for something. The boy looked forward and met eyes with the other trainer. "HEY YOU!" The boy was suddenly fired up. "Don't look at me that way! Steven Stone chose me personally to carry out an important mission. I'm just as capable as any tall or older trainer!" The boy seemed to have various assumptions running through his mind, placing blame on the other trainer for what appeared to be nothing at all. "You think you're so great? Beat me in a double battle then! I'll wipe that smirk off your face!" The boy didnt even check to see if there was a smirk to begin with, instead reaching for his pokeballs. He sent out two pokemon in a flash of light. One was a floating cephalopod. its tiny beak showed a happy smile. It also its movements were odd as it floated around, and its eyes seemed hard to read. The pokemon next to it was a short red and white bug pokemon. Flames shot out from its body in different directions. Both were rather small pokemon. "Dont underestimate my inkay and larvesta because they're small. I've trained them to take on big opponents." He pointed forward ostentatiously. "Show us what you got!" Trainer found: Lucas Cross

Kaiser and his pokemon had just finished eating and were preparing to leave their camp when they saw the Aggron storming right through the bushes and trees. It was odd to see an Aggron run the way this one did, it seemed actually terrified, and to deal that sort of psychological damage on a pokemon that big and that strong, the opponent must be at least equal in height and strength if not more. Kaiser prepared to give his pokemon the order to attack as soon as the foe appeared, much to his surprise though, Aggron was scaping a rather small pokemon, yet this wierd looking pokemon seemed really strong, proven by the ast hit it landed on the Aggron before defeating it. "that was impressive" the trainer thought to himself, it was not everyday that you saw such a small pokemon take down a large one like that Aggron.
Not later after Aggron's defeat a girl in what seemed to be a martial arts suit appeared from the bushes were both the Aggron and its attacker came, she seemed dissappointed at the defeated Aggron and immediately searched for a surrogate opponent, one she found in Kaiser. After hearing the girl's challenge Kaiser didn't knew if he should smile or run, the idea of having a trainer battle was always exciting, but that Mienfoo she called the pokemon? was really strong, he would not want any of his pokemon to be as heavily hurt as the Aggron. Kaiser hesitated, he turned to Charmeleon to see what he thought, surprisingly for him, the lizard-dragon~ish pokemon was smiling and excited about battling. Kaiser smiled and turned to the girl "well... I guess I can't back off from a challenge" he said before moving back to make room for the battle, away from the beaten Aggron. Kaiser let Charmeleon stay out to battle while he returned the rest of his pokemon "would you want me to begin or will you?" he asked the girl, not knowing how to call her other than, well, girl.

The sudden withdrawal of the Trapinch surprised Azubuika. She had not expect it to retreat so soon, since it was so adamant about attacking. It must have been all the water it couldn't handle, Azubuika thought, slightly disappoint she could not catch the Ground type Pokemon. It would have proven useful in navigating through the desert and mountain terrain. It also seemed to be pretty smart, swift, and resourceful. Nonetheless, if the Pokemon was enraged before, she was glad that it was retreating now in what appeared to her was a calmer fashion. Her muscles unwound, and the hand with which she was holding the empty PokeBall was now slumped and relaxed, but she did not think to put it away yet. She just needed a beat to mentally take a step back form battle-mode. This had been her first battle since she arrived in Hoenn, and it had been a rough surprise as well. But before she could even take a deep breath, the sound of heels was approaching. "Would you look at that, you scared it away." Azubuika had remembered seeing this woman inside the dark Gym. Who could miss her with her flamboyant choice of clothes? She seemed even more condescending than she was at the meeting, and although the mysterious woman never spoke, the way she stood emitted an air of false superiority that rubbed Azubuika the wrong way. She did not like this woman, and the more the woman spoke, with her flashy earrings bouncing as her jaw moved, the more Azubuika did not like her. But, as always, Azubuika remained calm, keeping face absent of annoyance. The woman had mentioned something about Steven, and Azubuika raised her eyebrows in amusement. She had not really thought of Steven. Sure he was a world renowned trainer, and Azubuika, a woman oozing with pride for her region, did not doubt that for a second, but the reason Azubuika was here was because of Wallace; he needed her--he trusted her. Maybe that's how this strange woman in front of her felt about Steven. Azubuika thought to herself for a moment before she tried to hide a small smirk. Someone as respectable as Steven could definitely not place an immense amount of trust--or respect for that matter--in the hands of this rude woman. The stranger was now laughing at her own comment about Azubuika's abilities as a trainer. She looked at the crackling woman with eyes that showed no sign of hurt. She did not need to prove anything to her. She owed her nothing. Azubuika did not even know this woman's name. The thought of this stranger judging Azubuika already was proof that she was not the best of people. She oozed too much condescension and confidence; too much for Azubuika's liking--or probably for anyone's liking probably, as a matter of fact. But better overconfidence in a woman than in a man, Azubuika thought to herself. And that thought seemed to ease her dislike for her fellow female Pokemon trainer a bit. Confidence in a woman was hard to find, especially in a world owned and run by men. The female gender needed people like this stranger to combat patriarchal system, but maybe not too many woman like her or they would not be much better than men. Azubuika wondered what this stranger wanted from her. Did she only come to provoke her? She was not going to let that happen. It would take much more to anger Azubuika. But before she had time to even consider whether or not she should respond, the Trapinch came rocketing back, upturning the earth in its path. The dark-skinned trainer had been too distracted with her thoughts of the female stranger that she had not even noticed until the orange insectoid launched itself from the ground in front of Azumarill. "Azumarill!" the trainer called out. The Water Pokemon was too surprised to move. It froze, bracing itself for a full on attack. Just then, Zangoose, who had not been as distracted as the others, pounced from the ground it was standing on behind its trainer to protect his fellow teammate. It had not even waited for Azubuika's orders because it knew that Azumarill was in danger, and he would face whatever was to come from his trainer later. As the white and red Pokemon became closer to the Trapinch, it drew its left arm back, ready to swing at full force in a Slash attack much like how one would spike a volleyball. Zangoose could not let Trapinch get to Azumarill. Azubuika was standing on the side, her mind fully back into a battle-mode now. She was slightly grateful for Zangoose's movement, and now that Trapinch was back, she was going to throw her free PokeBall at it no matter what if her Zangoose's claws made contact with the Ground Pokemon.

Kaiser: the girl stepped forward, calling her meinfoo back with a snap of her fingers. "Shao, you will take a break." She turned to the young man. "We shall exchange names...after the battle." She quickly pulled out a moonball with such swiftness that her movement could barely be followed. With a quick toss, her pokemon appeared in a flash of light. A short blue and white pokemom appeared, balancing itself on one foot for its debut. "Tao, show your strength." The pokemon looked back, shaking it's head in agreement. "My meditite will make a satisfying opponent for you, I'm sure." Jun and meditite punched the air in front of them. "Let's begin. Tao, calm mind." Meditite closed it's eyes. It's breathing became calm and spread apart. It was as if the falling leaves around it twisted in the wind in rhythm with meditites breathing. "With this..." Jun began. "Tao's mind is much sharper. Come at us as you will."
Uberchomp- "hold it!" Sam shouted loudly. Her lopunny rushed forward, using a jump kick attack to block the zangoose's attack. The interruption caused trapinch to lose focus and miss. The ant lion pokemon fell to the hard ground with a thud, it quickly became dazed, now unable to move.
"Oi! I saw what you did there." Sam started. "You couldn't handle a battle with this pokemon without ganging up two on one?" Lopunny dropped to the ground and jumped high into the air, landing next to its trainer. "You were chosen by Steven as well, right? Then you've tarnished his name with this tactic. I can't let you tarnish his name like that." Sam took a few steps forward, bending down towards trapinch and tapping it with a pokeball. The dazed pokemon succumbed to the ball quickly as a bright flash of light confirmed. Sam rose from the ground, throwing her hair back in haughty confidence. "If you really want this trapinch", she said as she flaunted the pokeball, "then show me that you are worthy of Steven's recommendation with a battle." Her words held surprising weight, she seemed completely serious on this accusation. It completely counteract ed the vain attitude that she showed before. It seems that her devotion to the pokemon league champion was as strong as her words. "Mimi, get ready." Her lopunny put up its arms and ears in preparation.

Kaiser watched how the girl changed pokemon, he was a bit confused, he thought they'd be fighting the Mienfoo, still, she brought out another pokemon of the same general look, this one he knew, the Fighting Type Meditite. Kaiser thought for a momment, he knew Meditite wasn't an attacker, it focused mostly on defensive moes and swift attacks rather than going full attack, he'd need to have a strategy for this one. "all right" he answered to the girl once she offered exchanging names after the battle, although he was used to at least know the name of the person he'd fight, he didn't minded waiting for the end to ask.
Charmeleon looked at his trainer, excited about battling a fighting pokemon "you'll do great" said Kaiser to his pokemon with a smile before they both turned to their opponents. After the girl gave her command to the Meditite he thought for a momment, that meant it would be having faster than its already usially fast reactions. Kaiser turned to Charmeleon "use Smokescreen and then release your rage" he said to him. Charmeleon nodded and smiled, although Kaiser's orders wouldn't seem very clear to others, they'd been together long enough for Charmeleon to understand what he meant. The red draconish pokemon opened his mouth and with waht sounded like a roar, released a large cloud of smoke that covered the surrounding area, all around him and his foe. Soon after a flaming noise could be heard, followed by Charmeleons roar as he released a Dragon Rage attack at the stading still Meditite. Kaiser awaited, he expected the Smokescreen to be enough to hide Charmeleon as he moved on the field so the girl's Meditite could not tell where the Dragin Rage attack came from.

Kaiser- Jun watched as the smoke covered the feild. From the outside, it appeared that neither pokemon could see each other. Jun's face, however, did not falter. "Your strategy...shall not prevail." As the words left Jun's mouth, a white blur burst through the smoke. It was Jun's meditite. In the middle of its forehead a glowing eye shone brightly. It appeared to be a 'minds eye'. "Mind reader let's us momentarily see your intentions." The dragon rage attack shot past Jun and exploded behind her within the forest. It can only be used once, but now we know just where you've hidden. Hidden power." The eye quickly faded as the airborne meditite switched to the offensive. It wrapped it's arms around itself, concentrating deeply. Seven small orbs of light surrounded meditite, each one coursed with dense winds. The orbs shot down to the battlefield one by one, each one pushing the smokescreen out of the way as they neared charmeleon.

Kaiser watched in awe how the Meditite managed to clear the smoke and dodge the Dragon Rage attack. "Charmeleon watch out!" he shouted when he sawhow the Meditite got in the air with seven orbs around it and shot them at Charmeleon. Charmeleon roared, doing his best to dodge the attack, but even running he couldn't dodge them all at recieved the last two attacks, one on his left shoulder and one on his back. Kaiser shrugged, the battle was turning against them, but he knew Charmeleon was far from being defeated after that attack. "use Ember!" the trainer called. Charmeleon turned around, his mouth glowing bright as he released the flames upon his foe, hopefully enough to deal some damage to the faster pokemon. Kaiser watched thinking on what his next move should be, clearly the meditite was faster than Charmeleon, so he had to find a way to compensate that with Charmeleon's strength, but they'd need to be closer to the Meditite in orther to deal enough damage.

Kaiser- As the hidden power attack launched, a young man came out from the bushes behind Jun. He seemed plain enough, his only noticable feature being his backpack. Creeping up behind Jun to get a closer look, he surprised her, causing her to immediately flip him into submission. The shock on her face showed that she did not notice him approaching and she seemed even more shocked in herself for not noticing. With its trainers attention kept away from the battle, meditite became a little hesitant in its attacks. As the flames from the newly produced ember attack came rushing forward, meditite attempted to block them with confusion. Its eyes and entire body glowed a marvelous blue and most of the flames stopped in midair. Unfortunately, due to the lack of instruction, meditite could not focus well enough to completely stop all of them before they reached it, which allowed for flames to come close enough to strike it. Meditite cried out a bit, catching Jun's attention again. The boy spoke up just a bit. "ah...sorry. I was just watching Jun's technique." He seemed a bit socially awkward and monotone despite overshadowing the two of them in height. "I'm collecting data on other trainers in Steven's circle. I just wanted to see how the well known Jun performs her skillful counteratttacks." His words seemed innocent enough, though he still interupted the battle. "Umm...please continue."
Jun's face relaxed. She was certainly frustrated that she could not sense his presence, especially with a large backpack behind him. She had recognized him from the meeting. "Montero..." She began. "Please dont interfere." Jun turned to Kaiser once again. "What he says is true. Counterattacks are what I am known for." She looked at her singed meditite, still surrounded by floating flames due to the confusion attack. "Don't think a straightforward attack like that work again. Not against me." Meditite regained its composure, now standing firmly with shimmering flames around it. "Send them right back, with a little extra." Meditite controled the flames with confusion, rotating them into the air and sending them forward. Behind the attack of flames, three small orbs of hidden power, aided with the wind attribute, swirled with the tiny flames, causing them to flare up and become larger. With the strength of a flamethrower attack, the flames dances towards the charmeleon.
"Ah!" Montero chimed in. "increased oxygen increases the strength og the fire attacks. how invent-"
Jun's hand covered the taller boy's mouth, halting his words. "dont interfere."

Manta- "oh, a truly wonderful battle!" A voice from behind called out. "Though a little one sided, I can tell that sableye trusts you." Behind manta was his friend Mira. She walked calmly next to her Audino, who was indifferent to the young man's presence. Mira had her keystone attached firmly to the bow around her waist. It sparked brightly in the sunlight. "I just got back from Mauville's move tutor. With this new request from steven, Audino and I had to work on a few offensive moves." Audino nodded with a smile. "She seems to have an affinity for physical attacks, but I would rather her use special attacks." She sighed deeply. "It has been an ordeal." Audino tugged on mira's dress, seemingly to get her attention. Mira perked up. "Oh yes, audino and I would like to test out her new abilities with you in a battle." She smiled brightly. "As you and I are both polite and respectful, I cannot see anyone else who would make a more compatible partner." Audino's face became more serious. "What do you say? Shall we begin?" trainer found: Mira
