Manta- Under a shady tree near the large lake, a small grey furred pokemon stood silently, staring at the young trainer. its eyes seemed empty as it stared. It was odd enough, but the pokemon quickly snapped out of its trance, noticing Manta as he walked by. its expression became serious as it took a few steps forward to challenge the trainer. It's ears twitched and the air around it shimmered.

Kaiser- The unstable electro ball took very little to alter its own path. Each tiny poison sting needle drew electricity out of the ball, causing it to shrink a bit with each strike. It was only a few moments before the ball changed course, hotting a tree behind it. Small shriveled leaves fell silently as a result. Galvantula looked around, its multiple eyes provided an accurate view of the situation. The ground was covered in a sticky web, preventing any reall rapid movements from ground bound creatures. Additionally, the opponent was paralyzed. Normally the situation would be ideal, but the poisoning of the large spider made prolonging this battle dangerous. The electric spider gathered some thread between its front feelers, forming it into a web. The friction caused the web to become electrified. The yellow pokemon opened its feelers to show off the electroweb for a moment before shooting it forward. Galvantula didn't have a lot of time to finish this battle. The next few moves would decide it. Kaiser watched the Galvantula forming the web with its front limbs, he wasn't sure about it, but he could only think it to be a String Shot. Knowing said move would only lower Nidorino's speed he was not really worried so he decided to leave the Galvantula shot out its attack, it would provide them a way to pull it to Nidorino and land a more effective blow than any of Nidorino's ranged attacks. Nidorino awaited, huffing as he felt the paralisis troubling his body, as soon as he saw the web cominghis way, he tried to endure the attack, unlike his trainer, he could see it would hurt. Nidorino let out a hurting roar as the Electroweb hit him, Kaiser was shocked, he didn't expected that kind of attack. Knowing that Nidorino was sustaining more damage than expected, Kaiser decided to finish the battle as quickly as possible "Nidorino! try to use Peck on it!" he ordered. Nidorino nodded and tried to run to the Galvantula as fast as he could, his horn started to grow and glow for the upcoming attack, hopefully it would land a hit and deal with that Galvantula soon.

Kaiser-
The distracted galvantula did not noticed to prolonged focus energy attack, putting its energy instead toward removing the barbs from its body. It was not until it heard the heavy, but quite slow footseps of the opponent that it oppened its eyes. The paralysis were surely tensing its muscles as it ran, slowing it down, and the webs on the ground would most liklely cause each step to take more effort to make as they stuck to the opponents feet, releasing with the ripping sound that tape does as it is ripped off. This was the galvantula's plan. As with most of its prey, it slowed it down enough so that it had time to prepare itself. The galvantula hunkered down to prepare its body for the impact. As it was pushed back, a buzzing sound could be heard. Above the wheezing spider, an electric ball was charging. This was its plan for the impact. After sacrificing a chunk of its health, the spider had the nidorino right in front of it for a clear shot. The ball of electricity charged more and more, reacting to the difference in speed from its user and teh target. It was ready to lauinch as soon as the opponent made a move. Kaiser shrugged, it was clear that the Peck wans't as effective as he expected, and the Galvantula even had time to prepare a counter attack. The trainer saw how the pokemon prepared to release the Electro Ball against Nidorino, he had to find a way to at least, minimize the damage "Nidorino, use Poinson Stings!" he called. Nidorino roared/grunted in agreement as released a barrage of poisonous barbs against the electric spider. Kaiser awaited, the Poison Stings were supposed to hit the Electro Ball in mid air and hopefully stop it from advancing against Nidorino, but given Nidorino's paralized state, he was not sure what would happen. SpeshalThe Swinub finished muching on the berry that rolled out of the girl's pouch but before it could loaf around, it was presented with yet another berry. Swinub didn't need more convincing at this point, free food was always a wlecome gift and if this girl was tru to her words, food would never be a misswith her. Swinub moved its head to look at Carli and emiting a happy chirp, the pokemon ate the second berry on one bite before pressing the pokeball with its forehead. The pokeball opened and dragged the Swinub inside of it, there was no need for Carli to put the pokeball on the ground as it only shook, slightly, a couple times before staying still, the Swinub had been caught. Carli stared at the ball, unsure of what her next move should be. She shuffled through her backpack for a marker to label her new capture. In only a few strokes she had some recognizable symbol just above the button that would help her to distinguish it from the others. Immediately after she pressed it to release the Swinub. It was overjoyed to be released so quickly and rubbed against her legs and gave out an appreciative snort. The trainer took out her somehow pristine Pokedex and scanned the small hug again. It revealed the approximated power level and gender. There was no clear indication of personality yet so she was unable to decide what to name it. It felt wrong, but it would feel even more wrong later if it had an ill-fitting name. The grouped rested on the side of the road, all trying to get to know the new member.

Azubuika was walking back to the jewelry store with her Azumarill by her side. It had already been an hour and a half since the meeting in the Mauville City gym and an hour since she first stopped by the only jeweler she knew in town to drop off her new Keystone to be fashioned into a ring. The owner said it would take some time for him to work on her order because there was a sudden influx of trainers, itching to get their Keystones fitting into various pieces of jewelry. He told her that it would be ready in an hour and sent her on her way.
With nothing to do but wait, Azubuika headed for the nearest hair-care shop, hoping to find the special brand of shea butter that her family used when they lived back in Sootopolis City.
“Only the Luscious Linoone Shea Butter, miss?” the cashier girl had asked, noticing Azubuika smiling at the checkout counter. “Yes,” kinky haired woman responded a voice deep with satisfaction. “You know, they don’t have this overseas in Sinnoh?” “Really? I didn’t know that,” the cashier girl responded politely as rang up the purchase. “Yes! I’ve been living there for four years, and all they have is this brand called Glamourmeow, and let me tell you one thing, it definitely leaves my hair dryer than it was before I use it! It’s good to be back where people know what real shea butter is.” The excitement in her voice was detectable. “Hahaha. Well, welcome home, miss! Have a nice day!” the girl waved as she gave Azubuika her receipt.
As Azubuika opened the door to the jewelry store, a small bell rang, telling the owner that he had a customer. Coming out from the back, the jeweler was holding a small box in his hands.
“Ah, you're back! Right on time, ma’am,” the jeweler exclaimed as he waved to the woman. “Yes, yes,” Azubuika replied. “I’m here for my ring?” “Right, right. I had a feeling it was you, so I brought it out with me! Here, take a look.”
The man opened the small box to reveal the gradient of colors that was the Keystone encased in a brass ring. The ring itself tapered as it got further away from the center and had an intricate wave pattern etched onto the metal. Azubuika picked the ring up and slid it easily onto the middle finger of her left hand. “It’s beautiful,” the woman admired holding her hand up. “Azumarill!” the Pokémon chimed in. “Well Azumarill here seems to think so too,” the woman smiled.
“I’m guessing you’re running an errand for Steven as well?” the jeweler asked. “Why yes, how’d you know?” “Well all the other trainers coming in with Keystones today mentioned his name, so I figured.” “Ah, I see,” she was still admiring the ring. “Well that ring is free of charge, then! Good luck with whatever it is all of you are up to!” the man said as he headed towards the back room again. “Thank you. Have a nice day,” and with that, she was out the door.
Back outside in Mauville City, Azubuika continued to stare at her new ring, paying special attention to the burst of color in the middle. She had never seen such a peculiar stone before, not even in the Sinnoh region. “What could this stone possibly do?” she thought. It must’ve been something special if Steven considered it as payment. So far, it seemed pretty worthless, and though Azubuika neverminded receiving rare gems and jewelry, she was hoping that the Keystone would be more powerful--well, instantaneously powerful. Sighing, Azubuika knelt down to pet her Azumarill. As the Pokémon chimed happily, its trainer said, “Well, Wallace is back now. That’s good news. I mean, you didn’t know Wallace, but he was the gym leader at the Sootopolis Gym back in my home.” The Pokémon continued its usual cheerfulness; Azubuika didn’t know if it understood what she was talking about, but she enjoyed talking to Pokémon anyhow. “If Wallace is back, that means Sootopolis probably isn’t in too bad of a shape. I mean, just look Wallace himself. He seems to be doing fine.” The trainer was assuring herself. She wasn’t sure about the things she was saying, but with Wallace here in front of her eyes, she at least had hope now.
Standing back up, she thought about what Wallace had said in the gym. “Kidnapping gym leaders, what could Team Aqua and Team Magma be up to now? Since when did they work together?” Azumarill tugged at its trainer’s leg, sensing that something was off. “Azumarill?” it uttered. “No need to worry, Azumarill,” the trainer said looking down at her Pokémon. “I’m sure Wallace is protecting Sootopolis with all his might, and under his watch, it isn’t going to go down without a fight.” The Pokémon began to smile again. “Now, Wallace said he needs our help, and I’m not going to run away this time. I’m going to fight! After all, my name is Azubuika! ‘The past is your strength.’ I’ve come back stronger than ever, and this time, Team Magma and Team Aqua are not going to stand a chance.” And with that, the trainer decided to trust the presence of Wallace to mean the current well-being of Sootopolis and that more important matters were at hand--that the state of the Hoenn region itself was at stake.
The trainer began to make her way towards Route 111. Seeing that everybody mostly headed south for Slateport, Azubuika decided to head the opposite direction, in case there was some clue to what was going on in that direction too. She didn’t want to risk the disproportioning of resources because she wanted to be with the crowd. After all, being alone never bothered her. She sometimes preferred it that way too. As be began to walk, the woman swung her bag off her shoulders. It was a stylish, white minimalistic backpack made of leather with gray straps. She opened the bag and placed the shea butter she had bought inside, along with her TM Case, which had TM24 Thunderbolt, as well a swimsuit, goggles, a headscarf, and other miscellaneous items. She continued walking as she swung the bag over her shoulders again. “Come on, let’s go Azumarill,” Azubuika called out, telling it to hurry along.
_______________
Arriving at the beginning of Route 111, Azubuika could sense the dry heat up ahead. Could it be? The infamous desert of the Hoenn region? It was certainly true that it was north of Mauville City, but it had surprised Azubuika, the power of desert heat. She had only ever read about it since she lived on the other side of Hoenn in an isolated city. “This should be interesting,” she thought as she contemplated her situation. She was always used to being surrounded by water. Even her home in Pastoria City was by the marsh. She wasn’t sure how she was going to cross the desert that was a decent distance up ahead. Still, she was sure it wasn’t going to stop her. “What’s a little sand,” she thought, trying to lighten up the situation to come. “Come back, Azumarill,” the trainer said as she unbuckled Azumarill’s PokéBall from her belt to return the Pokémon. She didn’t want to tired it out if their walk was going to be arduous. As she continued to make her way through the beginning Route 111, she tried to enjoy the presence of trees and the familiarity of that city that was slowly, but surely, fading away.

Manta was surprised to see a lone pokemon hanging out near a tree up ahead. It looked as though it may be another trainer's pokemon, but there was no trainer to be found. It was an odd looking pokemon, specifically its eyes. They seemed to stare into nothingness, and gave this small and feeble looking pokemon a scariness to it. Manta checked his pokedex quickly. According to the small computer, this was a meowstic, and the shimmering around it was not from heat like manta had thought, but instead from psychic power. Manta took out a pokeball that he had just received. The sableye would be great inn this battle. Being a dark type, Sableye should be able to take most of meostic's moves without much trouble, assuming that most were psychic type moves. Tossing the ball into the air, sableye burst out in a blinding red light. But was really seemed blinding to sableye was the sun. It took a bit of time for its eyes to adjust. Finally settling down, sableye became fixated on the small cat pokemon, grinning menacingly or at least out of curiousity. "If meowstic truly wants to battle, I have no objections." Manta said calmly. This was a perfect first battle for his little dark companion. "Sableye, night shade!" Manta called out. In a charge or what looked like electricity made of shadows, Sableye's eyes teiched and sparked, releasing an erratic stream of dark energy towards the meowsitc. Uberchomp- under the feet of the young female trainer, the ground began to give way. Little by little, the terrain became more and more sandy. The drying soil crumbled, revealing a large amount of sand underneath. the area in which this change in terrain was happening grew and grew, almost four meters in diameter now. Small branches, broken off prior, were begining to move toward the middle. Inch by inch, the debris cralled toward the middle of the mess, revealing sometghing odd in the middle. An round orange object emerged from the middle, though not entirely revealed. A crack seemed to open on the egg shaped object, growing larger and darker until it was completely opened. The object wasn't an egg, but a mouth! In the center of the odd formation, it seemed to be a pokemon. It crunched savagely at the twigs that came its way, though it was clear that wasn't its aim. It was looking for any type of living creature to fall into its trap, and the young trainer was no ecception. lv. 25, female

It was looking for any type of living creature to fall into its trap, and the young trainer was no ecception. lv. 25, female As the ground became soft, the trainer looked down. What on Earth was happening? The soil beneath her feet then suddenly began to crumble, and Azubuika knew this wasn't going to be good news. She quickly tried to walk away from the center, but the soft, sloping ground was growing harder to walk on, especially with her footwear. She quickly reached into her belt to grab the Zangoose's PokeBall. "I choose you, Zangoose!" she called out as she swiftly threw her PokeBall in the air. With a quick, white flash that beamed down next to the trainer, the Cat Ferret Pokemon was freed and on its fours. "Quick, let's get out of here!" Azubuika commanded as she jumped on her Pokemon's back. Being a Pokemon, Zangoose was obviously faster and stronger than the woman was, and it proved this to be true as it leaped out of the strange mess that formed in the ground. The sandy hold grew wider and wider as Zangoose with its trainer on its back landed outside of its radius. "What is going on?" Azubuika asked herself, looking at the egg-shaped mouth beginning to appear from the ground. As the Pokemon became more apparent, Azubuika recognized it! It was a Trapinch! They weren't very popular in Sootopolis, being that it was surrounded by water and not sand, but one of Azubuika's neighbors owned one. She remembered playing with it, but it would never go with her towards the water, always running the opposite direction when the girl tried to convince it that everything was going to be fine. But this Trapinch was different. It was more violent and reckless, and the crude way in which it chomped on the twigs and whatever else gravitated towards the center of the sand pit seemed almost malicious. Although Azubuika was not oblivious to the possibility of Pokemon being dangerous and violent, she was unused to seeing such behavior. Her demeanor and aura was usually calming, as she did not ever pose a threat to them. Had the recent mysterious events of Team Magma and Team Aqua angered the Pokemon in this region? She knew that changes in nature and environment that upset Pokemon tended to be the cause of distress and unfriendly behavior. She needed to calm the Trapinch down. Zangoose was obviously prepared for an attack. Azubuika could tell because it was in its usual pre-strike position, growling in a low tone that seemed as if it would explode into a roar any second. She knew that if she were to send Zangoose out to calm the Trapinch down, it would end up injuring the Ground type Pokemon. Zangoose was too much of a battle-Pokemon for delicate situations such as these. Still sitting on the white Pokemon's back, she began to pet it. "Calm down now," she said in her usual deep voice. The Zangoose did as it was told with the usual huff of stubbornness. It then stepped back to avoid the expanding change in terrain. It had to keep Azubuika safe. She reached towards her belt for Gothorita's PokeBall. "I choose you Gothorita!" she announced as she threw the PokeBall into the air. The white beam that came out of it this time revealed a Psychic Pokemon. It appeared in the air, and as it fell down, used its telekinetic abilities to slow itself down to a soft landing in front the Zangoose. "Gothorita ta," it said, asking her fellow teammate what was going on. "Zan zan!" Zangoose replied as it nudged its head towards the Trapinch, catching Gothorita up on recent surprise visit by the Ground Pokemon. "Gothorita, use your Confusion to lift the Trapinch from the ground!" Azubuika commanded with a definitive tone. Maybe lifting it from the rampage of an environment that it was creating would calm it down. She was debating on whether or not to catch the Trapinch. She was never the type to catch a Pokemon. She believe it to be taking it out of its natural environment, unless the Pokemon was happy to follow her. But ever since moving to the Sinnoh region, her mindset had changed slightly. Her will to leave Pokemon alone had been surpressed, especially knowing that trainers were the ones responsible for the defeat of several evil organizations. Perhaps catching a Pokemon and training it would be for a good cause. She carefully considered, especially weighing in the option that Trapinch could help her get through the desert. It was a Ground type after all.

Kaiser- Galvantula fell back from the peck attack. Though the attack wasn't particularly effective on galvantula's typing, a sharp blow on the weakened elespider was enough to daze it. The galvantula's eyes showed trouble focusing as they peered in different directions, trying to pinpoint the nidorino's exact location, and its legs wobbled back and forth. To compensate, galvantula closed its eyes to focus on the threads on the ground. any movement could be picked up due to the vibrations. Its legs continued to wobble as its focus stayed solely on the nidorino.
uberchomp- trapinch struggled violently as the colorful energy surrounded it. Its small legs and large head made anything short of flailing impossible in this situation. With not much else to go on, trapinch's eyes glowed brighter. Beneath the still moving sand funnel, bits of sand began to swirl together in mini vortexes. each one latched onto the trapinch like a the tentacle of an octillary, and hardened to the durability of stone once secure. each sand vortex pulled the trapinch down, struggling at first, but eventually breaking free of the psychic type attack. A tactic typically used for battles against flying type pokemon, trapinch seemed comfortable with the move, and moved itself back into the previous position. With trapinch there, the edges of the arena trap continued to move. once something got caught, it could only go down until it reached trapinch's strong jaws. Trapinch's body glowed momentarily before it struck its head to the ground. Around the arena trap, large pillars of rock, about the size of an average person, quickly shot up through the ground. branches snapped and nearby flying pokemon fled as the large pillars violently shot up, sending the large resulting sound to echo through the area. Trapinch was now trying to get nearby pokemon into the sand by any means necessary.

Kaiser watched the Galvantula's reaction, it was not defeated yet but he could see it was in trouble, it'd take some more damage to actually defeat it, and at this point that was his only option if he wanted the pokemon in his team. Kaiser turned to Nidorino and saw he was panting, there was no time to loose now "Nidorino use Poinson Stings again!" the trainer commanded, he was not actually aware of what the Galvantula was doing, but giving the curcumstances, a ranged attack was his best and probably, only choice. Nidorino heard his trainer's command and though he was tired and struggled a bit to move, he released once again a barrage of poisonous barbs against the Galvantula, hopefully this would be enough to finally defeat it and get the rest he well deserved.

Trapinch was now trying to get nearby pokemon into the sand by any means necessary. Azubuika was astonished at the Trapinch's ability to liberate itself from Gothorita's psychic grip. It was stronger than she had thought--not to mention smarter too. She looked at her Gothorita, who was also as surprised. "Gothor thor thor rita," she chimed, a bit peeved. She was sure that she had got the foe in her grip, and the fact that it had escaped with just sand was a mockery of her skills. "Gothorita, come back," Azubuika called as she pointed a PokeBall at the Psychic Pokemon, calling it back. A red light shot out from the metal sphere and landed on Gothorita's back, enveloping and returning her. Clipping the PokeBall back on her belt, Azubuika mumbled to herself, "Well it looks like psychic attacks aren't as effective as I thought." She then climbed off Zangoose. Taking this as a sign that it was his turn to battle, the Zangoose assumed its attack position again, bending its arms and lowering its head, ready to explode into a powerful charge at the Trapinch. It growled. All he needed was Azubuika's word, and his claws would slash the Trapinch. "No, no," Azubuika said calmly, putting her hand on the white Pokemon's back. The sliding sand seemed too dangerous to get close to. She had underestimated the Ground Pokemon. She would've never imaged that it had such power in such a small form. Although she would probably count on Zangoose to successfully put down the Trapinch, she didn't want to injure it that much. Zangoose's claws were far too sharp, a product of natural selection in its lineage's feud with Seviper. She also couldn't risk the harsh crunch of Trapinch's machine-like jaws. Even though Zangoose would not be fatally wounded, she held him too dear. She had promised her mother to take good care of him. "Not now, boy," she said again. She had to act fast. The arena trap was expanding, and it would not be long until they were caught in it. She jumped when the pillars of rock shot up into the air, alerting both her and he Pokemon. She seemed trapped now, and all of this was done by such a tiny Pokemon. The idea of catching was definitely catching on in her mind now. But first thing's first: she had to do something to weaken it--or at least calm it down. Perhaps long-range attacks were on the right track. Pulling out Azumarill's PokeBall, the trainer announced, "I choose you, Azumarill!" As she tossed the sphere into the air, a flash of light appeared and out came the Water Pokemon. It cheerfully landed on its feet, dampening the ground slightly. "Azu azu!" it chanted with joy, wondering why it was summoned so quickly after being called back. Her eyes landed on the Ground type Pokemon quickly. Was it the cause of the drastic change in the environment. It definitely was not this sandy the last time she was out of her PokeBall. "I'm sorry to call you out so soon, Azumarill, but I need your help. Quick, use Water Gun!" Azubuika ordered, pointing at the Trapinch. The Water Pokemon's expression morphed into a serious one. "Azumarill marill!" it called out before pulling its body back to prepare for the attack. It was only a beat before she shot a jet of water out from her mouth, aiming at the Trapinch in the middle of the sand pit.

Manta- Espurr had no visible reaction to the attack coming toward it. It truly looked like an doll staring blankly back. Without much movement, the feline pokemon's wide eyes glowed brightly. The air around it shimmered more and it focused on the incoming attack, covering the night shade in the same colorful glow that had enveloped its eyes. Just as the attack was to hit, it changed course, harmessly hitting the ground. A psychic type pokemon would certainly be a challenge. It crossed its arms in a defiant way, forming a barrier of light around it, a light screen. The screen dissapeared a bit, becoming transparent, though light could catch it at different angles. Espurr waited patiently for the next attack. it seemed like a pokemon that waited to strike.
Kaiser- Galvantula could feel familiar movements in its web network. The opponent had once again shot out a poison sting. The elespider pokemon had seen this attack enough times to counter it. Galvantula moved swiftly, though a bit sloppily given its poison status, and quickly got behind the nidorino. The speed reducing attacks that it had landed had provided an opputunity to regain some stamina. Galvantula's furry feeers rose high into the air as it lunged for a leech life attack. With how things were going, galvantula could keep its stamina up and wear the opponent down, especially if the nidorino kept using similar attacks.
uberchomp- As the attack came towards the lion ant pokemon, it attempted to erect a sand tomb attack to block the water, but the preparation for the attack was too slow and only a small amount of sand could come forth. The water attack was caught partially on the sand tomb atack while the rest struck the trapinch. The ground type cried out in response, very sensitive to intense moisture. With the water settling around it, the trapinch had to think fast. The water that had soaked in the ground allowed for a new attack anyway. Trapinch used its large mouth to scoop the wet soil and sand, turning and shooting it at the azumarill. Its mud slap attack was surprisingly large, as each clump of mud was practically the size of the aqua rabbit itself. Even as the first attack flew through the air, it was already scooping up more mud to launch.
a ways away from the young trainer, a young lady in a a form fitting outfit and a scowl on her face watched closely. Her earring shone brightly, the keystone had been embedded into it. "Hmph. A trapinch is that much trouble for her?" The young lady held her head up high, her lopunny looked over as well, disaprovingly. "What does Steven even see in her? If he should call on anyone, it should be me." A haughty smile crept on her face. "After this battle, let's go say hello..."

Manta watched as sableye's attack seemed to just miss the target. But he knew it should have hit. Manta checked his pokedex again. "Yup...it's a psychic type all right". Typically, psychic types were good at manipulating attacks, but he also know of a common weakness to physical attacks. Manta thought carefully. "Well I can't complain. I have some choices for this, so lets have fun. Sableye, use zen headbutt!" Sableye's forehead glowed in a similar light as espurr's eyes. The creepy pokemon positioned itself and began running at teh felaine pokemon, making erratic movements as not to be caught. It aimed itself for a direct hit, seemingly enjoying itself

The psychic glow from the headbutt created a brief flash as it connected. The psychic part of the attack was not easy to brush off for espurr, being a psychic type itself, but the physical part of the attack was what fatigued it. Espurr raised a tiny paw and revealed it's claws, slashing down on sableye with a scratch attack. But the felines paw went right through the shadowy pokemon. It gave a look of surprise. It's strike did nothing. It quickly backed up and allowed it's eyes to glow. It focused intently on the sableye, but could not move it. This was unheard of. It decided to turn it's sights on the twigs and small rocks around it, using its psychic power to launch an attack at the seemingly untouchable opponent

As the espurr continued to attack unsuccessfully, Manta's observation of the failed attacks brought a smile to his face. To be able to be unscathed after so many strikes aloud Manta to see his new pokemon in a different light. The small erratic shadow creature was tough to catch, attacked uniquely, and had immunities to a variety of attacks. It appeared that espurr couldn't do much against him. Manta thought of a few tactics to that espurr could use, being a strategist and all, manta had to think up scenarios. One of which was to use confusion on objects instead of sableye himself. AS if espurr had read his mind, the tiny cat called upon surrounding debris and flung it at sableye. But Manta was prepared for this as well. "Detect, sableye!" Sableye's eyes gleamed. It used its power to see just a tad into the future, allowing it to know the location of each attacck. Sableye jumped and dodged with ease, evading the debris and landing unharmed. Manta knew this attack wouldnt be as effective the second time, so he decided to focus on attack. This was a fun battle for testing sableye. "Shadow claw!" Manta said as he pointed forward. Sableye put up a clawed hand, allowing shadowy energy to envelope it. THe shadow pokemon lunged forward to strike, its range increased by the extended claws.

Manta- espurr once again tried to move backward to evade the attack, this Time using is psychic power to propelled itself. But the attack was too swift. A swift strike to the chest sent espurr into the nearby tree. Espurr took a bit to get up, contemplating it's next move. It could have tried another attack, but it's instincts told it to run. Espurr used it's psychic power to shake the leaves in the tree, sending a flurry of leaves to the ground. It's power spun the leaves unto a distraction ting tornado of debris, using that to escape. The espurr was surprisingly intelligent. This may not have been this trainers final encounter with that pokemon...

Nidorino cried in pain as he felt his life sucked from him as the Galvantula used Leech Life on him, maybe it was not draining a lot of his health, but at this point, it was enough health to get bother him. Kaiser shrugged, this tactic was no longer working, he had to think of something else and soon. Hesitant, the trainer let Nidorino recover from the attack before he motioned one more command "Nidorino, use horn Attack!" he called. Kaiser knew Nidorino was really tired, and the surrounding webs and his paralisis may make it hard for him to land a hit, but he had to at least try it if he wanted to win the battle. Nidorino shook his head, trying to clear his sight and nodded as he heard his trainer's command, focusing on the Galvantula he rushed, as fast as he was able to, towards the spider, his horn aiming staright to the spider's body to land a hit. As Nidorino charged, Kaiser took an empty pokeball from his pocket, it didn't matter if this hit was succesfull or not, if Nidorino dealt a lot of damage or not, he would throw the pokeball at the Galvantula as soon as this attack was over, with some luck, the Poisoned condition of the spider and the exahusting of the battle might help him in catching the pokemon at the first try.
