New Beginnings Welcome to Hoenn. You'll be amazed at our wonderful array of pokemon, our pokemon contests, and our landscape. We areproud that ou have chosen to begin your pokemon journey here, and hope that this journey only gets better as you progress. Whether you favor battles or contests, Hoenn provides a satiable atmosphere for most forms of trainer. Perhaps you will even make it into the prestigious Battle Frontier! Now that you have completed trainer school and your personality evaluation, you are free to accept your first pokemon based on this evaluation from the lab in Littleroot. Now, go forth now and begin your Journey into the land of excitement that is Hoenn!
Land and Sea
With the land and sea teams of Hoenn's leaders gone, the team's admins have taken charge and have strangely decided to work together, surprisingly for a common goal. Not much is known so far, but with recent museum robberies and the kidnapping of 2 gym leaders, Professor Birch has worked together with Steven to recruit notable trainers from across the land. With the gym leaders as the apparent targets, he feels as though he should have a lesser known group back up squad to aid them if something happens to them and that's you. With your 3 well trained pokemon, you are to explore Hoenn and find out how to stop whatever plan the two teams are hatching. *If you are interested in joining, please post here: here.

Routes, Cities. and Landmarks (please ask for me to submit one if needed for reference)
Littleroot Town
Appropriately named "A town that can't be shaded any hue." It is a nuetral place, home to many famous trainers. The simple housing structure and surrounding woods may lead one to believe that the town is stuck in the past. However, it is also one of the most optimal place to research wild pokemon. This has led the building of the Pokemon Lab, home to Professor Birch. In this town, the pokemon are friendly. A pokemon casually approaching a human is a common sight here. The only way out, however, is to go north to route 101 Route 101
A very short, but scenic route. There are small cliffs, hills, and coves where pokemon hide, and it is surrounded by dense forest. The wind blows freely and the grass stays green and healthy. Pokemon play in groups on the fields above the hills. Many beginning trainers enjoy this route for its calming effect. Both Littleroot town and Oldale can be seen from the middle Oldale Town
A small, quiet town. When one enters, it's almost as if the blanket of a lullaby covers the land. The winds slows and the clouds allow small rays of sunlight to shine through. Known as the town "where things start off scarce", many elderly trainers and retired couples spend their days here. Happy to see new young faces, they are always willing to share what they have, whether it be food, or useful items for your journey. There is a small egg hatchery at the edge of town by route 103. The couple running it are known for giving out eggs to promising young trainers.
Route 103
The small area just above Oldale Town. With just one large field and a large hill, this route is even smaller than the first. The most notable part of this route is actually the large body of water that leads to another route. Many trainers try their hand at fishing here. Route 102
West of Oldale town is the the route full of twists and turns, route 102. Many trainers like to hide out and train here. With the many hiding places, one should be careful. Along with many trainers, many berry trees can be found. These trees are usually harvested by the elderly in Oldale. Petalburg City
A large city dedicated to its gym leader. Ever since their first gym leader, Norman, the town has treated their gym leader as a celebrity. The city has tall buildings, while still being dedicated to nature. The gym itself has its own greenhouse. Many city dwelling pokemon reside in this city. Small lakes reside on the outskirts of the city, providing a nice home to many pokemon. A monthly pokemon contest is held here as well as the occasional contest for new trainers.
Route 104 (front)
The field leading to the entrance of Petalburg forest as well as Route 105. This small route smells of the ocean, which is visible from any direction. Many water pokemon can be found here. The is a small isle of trees that lead to Petalburg forest. Petalburg Forest
A deep dark forest, covered in fallen leaves and mud. Just as with route 102, this forest is full of twists and turns. Not many pokemon trainers like to go through this forest because it is dark and a bit scary. Though it may just be a rumor, it is said that bad people conspire in the forest. The entrance to both sides of this forest seem to have unauthorized toll booths. The people of Petalburg would see a problem with this, but don't have the desire to go into the forest anyway, so the problem is looked over. Rustboro City
A large city with consistently brown houses. The city is known for having the best trainer school in Hoenn. And its leader is the head teacher. Specializing in Rock type pokemon, the Gym Leader's influence has spread to the entire town. Rustboro is full of mining enthusiast. People offer compensation for gems, stones, and fossils, often offering some themselves. Rustboro also hosts a contest hall, one that opens once a week. Many new coordinators try out there, making it a rather easy ribbon to win. The Devon Coorporation is held in this town, making useful items for the many trainers of Hoenn. Finally, a small body of water that leads to a narrow passage into the ocean can be visited in this town. It is common for trainers to catch a pokemon there to challenge the gym.
---
Mauville City
This city has been renovated into one large building, fitted with shops and apartments. Due to the Previous Electric Type Gym Leader's influence, the city now runs on not only the energy collected from New Mauville off shore, but also the four electrical towers above the city. Mauville is the crossroad to different directions in Hoenn, creating a great spot for tired trainers to meet and hang out. Due to the excess electricity, many stores and buildings are located in this town including rare stone shops, jewelers, message shops, a bike shop, move tutors, and even the pokemon gym.

The sun shined brightly over Mauville city as Manta rushed to the meeting place on his invitation. Although the letter’s wording seemed mass produced and applicable to anyone, it was written in beautiful cursive. Manta sharply turned the corner to make his way to the Mauville Gym. The building was quite large with electric designs along the entire lining. The windows were tinted to the point that you couldn’t see inside. There was a sign on the ground with the word ‘closed’ in simple red letters. Someone clearly took it down as it was ruffled and dirty. The others must have been inside. Despite the sign asking him to turn away, Manta decided to go in. It was the meeting place after all.
Opening the door lead him to a large dark room. Most of the lights were off and there were various fixtures along the walls. They seemed to have a purpose, but the darkened lights and lack of power access left their purpose a mystery. Manta looked around, adjusting to the dark. “Well well well. Looks like the last to arrive is finally here. You’re late. You left us waiting.” A bitter sounding voice came forth through the back of the room. It was one of many different dark figures in the room. The boy who had made his opinion known came forth. A tall boy with blue hair and what looked like a track suit or some type of jumpsuit came forth. Manta knew exactly who this was. It was Alvis, a boy he had met earlier at the beginning of his journey. He knew Alvis to be reckless, loud, and rude. He wasn’t really someone that Manta had a desire to see there. “ Oh, don’t be rude.” Another voice said. This one was much more familiar and soothing. “I’m sure he had his own reasons for his late arrival.” Manta looked to the other side of the room. It was Mira! He had met her a few times while participating in contests. Unlike Alvis, Mira was kind hearted and forgiving.
“You got invited to this too?” Manta began.
“It appears so.” Mira answered. Mira and Manta scanned the room. There were plenty of trainers there. None of the other ones were familiar. They all seemed experienced though. Perhaps they were going to battle or something? Maybe this was a tournament gathering? Before Manta could fully finish his thoughts, a central light appeared in the north wall of the room and the lights calmly glowed just a bit. The brighter light focused on a surprising sight. A tall trainer with piercing but calming eyes and hair the same color as the sea showed himself. He took a few steps, his shoes making sounds that echoed through the room. Each step commanded attention, though some people in the audience seemed annoyed. Suddenly, the man’s arms shot out.
“Welcome dear trainers!” The booming shout shocked a few of the trainers. The man’s movements were dramatic and over the top. “I am so happy to see our last arrival come in, which means that we may begin.” The lights came on all at once, shining brighter now and revealing more of the room. It looked like a gym’s back room but it seemed to not have been used in weeks.
The man bowed joyously. “Allow me to introduce myself. I am Wallace, leader of the Sootopolis Gym.” A few eyes widened, no doubt from the surprise of a seasoned trainer showing himself. “I am sure you have all wondered why we have gathered you here today.”
A hand in the back rose. “…We?” the faceless voice asked.
“Oh yes, where are my manners.” Wallace turned elegantly, his jacket fluttering behind him, revealing two other people behind on the north wall. One was a tall man with silver hair and formal attire. His clothes were pressed and is countenance exuded confidence. The other was a small child, probably no older than 13. He was wearing a blue turtleneck and basketball shorts. The combination didn’t seem to match. He clearly dressed himself. The boy was absentmindedly staring into space as he kicked his legs back and forth in the chair that he was much too short for. In his lap was a small brown and black rodent, a dedenne. “May I introduce Wallace, the Hoenn Pokemon League Champion, and Blake, the new Mauville Gym Leader.” At the sound of his name, the boy perked up and smiled proudly.
The small group of trainers were in disbelief. “What the hell?” one of the cried. It took a few moments to tell that it was Alvis. “That’s just some kid. There’s no way that he’s a gym leader. And what happened to the old one?”
The boy’s dedenne began to create sparks on its cheeks but stopped as Wallace intervened. “Now now, Blake has proven himself many times over in his capabilities in his duties. But we’re getting off subject.” His face got a bit serious. “As you all are aware, many gyms in the Hoenn region have closed. Even more troubling, two of our very own gym leaders have gone missing. Former gym leader Watson is gone, as well as Roxanne, the Rustboro gym leader. We believe they were kidnapped by the previously disbanded team aqua and team magma. Specifically, we have eye witnesses that claim that people in Team Aqua uniforms kidnapped Roxanne while we have another source claiming that Team Magma kidnapped Watson. It may be a ruse, but we can only assume that both teams are now working together, even after their bosses left the groups.” Wallace took a few steps back to the other trainers in charge. This time, Steven stepped forward and joined in.
“The gym leaders and the Pokemon league are doing their best to figure this situation out while still fulfilling our official duties, but we need help. Each one of you has had your growth and accomplishments observed. We deem that you trainers have what it takes to take down this new threat.” He set down his suitcase and began to open it as he continued speaking. “We need you all to go your separate ways and investigate this situation. Find out where the gym leaders are. Find out who’s in charge of this new threat. If necessary, take them down.” Steven took out a few odd stones. “We don’t expect you to do it for free or empty handed. We offer you these special stones. They are Keystones from the Kalos region and hold special properties. If you are good enough with your information gathering, you will learn to put them to good use. These are best placed as a part of your outfit. Make it into an earring, a broach, a bracelet, a necklace. There really are limitless expectations. There is a jeweler in each town who can make you what you need. All you need to do is mention my name, and it’s free. “ Blake came up with a small backpack. He brought it to steven who quickly unzipped it. “We also offer you a TM of your choice to assist you on your journey. Just one is available to each of you and it is first come, first served. “ He set the TMs on a table in the middle of the group as well as the Keystones. “Unfortunately, this meeting was not meant to last long. We must go, but please, take a keystone and a tm and help us with our predicament. “
Wallace came back once again. “Our numbers have been added to your Pokenavs wirelessly. Please keep in touch.” With that, Wallace and Steven left the building, bowing gracefully as they left. All that remained was Blake, who seemed to be overseeing the items to make sure that no one took more than they should have. IT was his gym after all.
All of the trainers present had a new duty now. A new purpose. Their destinies were changing before them and they had to get going.

Post by Kaiser on Jan 4, 2015 7:37:14 GMT
Kaiser awaited in the dark among the rest of trainers, there were nobody here he knew, or at least, in this lack of light he couldn't recognize anyone, he'd have to wait until somebody turned on the lights to see if there were any familiar faces among the rather big group. It didn't took long before the last person joined the group and after a rather welcoming comment from an obnoxious looking guy and a girl, the lights turned on. With the lights, a man with exagerated moves appeared before the group and explained them what was currently happening in Hoenn, Team Aqua and magma joining forces, Gym Leaders being kidnapped and other not so good events had gathered the attention of not only Wallace and the rest of Gym Leaders but the Hoenn League Champion Steven as well. Kaiser smirked as he saw the Champion, he had seen him on TV and he was, in Kaiser's opinion, one of the best trainers this world had to offer and he wanted to meet him personally. Though his wish would not come true today, it didn't took long for Steven to take the word and explained what they expected from he and ther est of the group, in small words, to help them take down this new alliance teams Aqua and Magma had formed and protect Hoenn from a potential destruction.
Kaiser sighed, he was actually hoping this invitation was for some sort of tournament, he enjoyed battling a lot. Though a little dissapointed he would not say no to the calling, after all, to think he was chosen, hand picked even maybe, made him realize that he was good enough to accept the challenge it was now presented before him... plus the idea of having his own Keystone and had any of his pokemon evolve to their Mega Form was a nice incentive. As soon as Wallace and Steven elft the building, people started talking among themselves, yeah, it was a fuzz, and even when the new shocked him as much as any of the others, he knew what "first come, first served" meant and he was not going to let this chance slip away. Kaiser was one of the first trainers to approach the table in the center of the room and after taking one of the Keystones, he proceded to inspect the TMs to find one he'd like, or more likely, one that'd be more useful to him. After inspecting the discs a few times, it all came up to two options, TMs 35 and 82, Flamethrower and Dragon Tail, both TMs could be learnt from all the pokemon he had with him at one point or another. After thinking about it a while he realized one thing, Dragon Tail, although effective, wasn't as strong as Flamethrower, plus, Flamethrower wasn't a move his Gyarados would learn on his own, and he had always loved he idea of having his Gyarados use Flamethrower. he had made his mind, Kaiser put away the Dragon Tail TM with the rest and took the TM35-Flamethrower with him, putting it way in his backpack.
The young trainer looked around, so far, there was nobody he recognized, maybe if he waited outside he'd see somebody familiar? With that in mind he walked outside and waited for the group to leave the building right acrosse the entrance of the gym. While he waited, Kaiser started to think about the Tm he had chosen, he knew Dragon Tail might had been a good choice as well, but he knew that in this region he could find a move tutor to teach his pokemon that or other Dragon Type moves, while Flamethrower was only learnt via TM for two of his pokemon. Next it was this thing about the jewler, he was still holding the Keystone in his hand, he wasn't sure what he'd craft it into, but he had sometime left to think about it, plus, he had to buy a TM Case as well, so, maybe he'd wait for somebody else to come out and go together to do those chores, after all, jewerly wasn't his thing and he most likely would need help with that.

Carli had actually fallen asleep in the dark waiting for the trainers to arrive. With Charlie being able to transport them by air, she was able to arrive extremely early and had found herself very bored. She was sitting toward the back of the room resting in the curled serpent that was her Dragonair. Bailey, her Linoone, was fast asleep in her lap as well. It had curled to the point that it looked a bit more like a fur hat than a Pokemon. Penn was perched near the top of the room, out of sight. Sitting in a large room extremely exposed wasn't his favorite thing. Plus, he felt the need to protect Carli and the easiest and most efficient way for a Gliscor was from above.
When the speech began, Carli and Bailey woke up. It took them a moment before they actually began processing what had been said, but they caught most of it. After it was all over, she approached them for the free TM. Bailey ran ahead of her, sniffing at the bag. Unlike Penn, she wasn't trying to protect her trainer. She just wanted whatever food could have been in there. Sadly for her, it was just a bunch of disks. Luckily for Carli, TM 13-Ice Beam was among them. In her time spent working as a coordinator, she had grown to love the move. She always wanted to teach both Charlie and Bailey but was unable because of the limitations of their species. It had to be taught via disk. Now she could do it easily. Before rushing out of the building she grabbed her keystone and tossed it to Bailey who stored it securely in her cheek pouch. While it was gross to many, Carli had gotten used to storing small items this way. It was very safe and was extremely hard to lose. The only things she couldn't trust the Linoone with were berries.
Penn burst through the doors first, soaring near the roof of Mauville. Knowing that size would be an issue, the trainer returned her Dragonair. It was tough to deny him the experience but it had to be done. Bailey emerged after, closely followed by Carli. She noticed a boy waiting outside who she had seen in the room before.
"Hi, I'm Car-", she managed before noticing that Bailey had already run off. If she didn't have the keystone it wouldn't have been a problem, but getting it to a jeweler was the highest priority now. The girl rushed after her Pokemon and shouted, "sorry, another time!"
After arriving at the store and scolding the ferret for embarrassing her in front of other trainers, she confronted the jeweler. There were many options. And it was all jewelry, which was definitely something Carli loved. Bailey handed over the slightly wet keystone to her trainer who simply dried it on her shirt. The colors were interesting and it would be hard to match it to something she could wear all the time.
"Rings, necklaces, bracelets," she mumbled to herself, spinning around the room. It was all so interesting and there was so much to choose from. Carli stopped spinning and once her vision steadied she found herself staring at the perfect piece. A larger charm bracelet with small loops of metal that had one teardrop shaped, empty charm dangling from the bottom. She chose it and handed the keystone over to be fitted. The two waited inside, staring at the other beautiful pieces.

Manta listened in on the conversation. He vaguely recognized steven from television, but did not recall that he was the pokemon league champion. He had questioned coming at all, but this was definitely worth it. Manta continued to listen in. A new gym leader, a new threat to Hoenn, a small group of people here to investigate. He and the trainers around him were the new wave of hope for the Hoenn region, though he wasn't entire sure what he could do. With kidnapped gym leaders,Manta began to think. Roxanne was the gym leader in rustboro, and her town was attacked just before he had gotten there, not long before she was kidnapped. He shuddered at the thought of her. She was condescending and mean. He didn't miss her. But he had to to something. He did recognize Wallace though, almost immediately. Wallace was a contest Master and one of his idols. He had to impress him. After Steven and Wallace left, Manta watched as trainers went towards the TMs and stones. He wasn't a very impatient boy, so others getting in before him wasn't a big deal. There were more TMs than people after all. He walked over to what Steven called a Keystone. It was multicolored and lifted his spirits. He already felt a connection to...whatever this odd stone was. He placed the stone in his pocket. If what Steven said was true, he could find something to attach the stone to later. Manta slowly walked over to the TMs now and took the nearest one to him. According to the label, it was TM Protect. For a random pick, it surely epitomized Manta well. He and his pokemon were certainly defense oriented and protecting others was always a high priority. He packed the tm into his bag, keeping a watchful eye on the kid sitting farther away on the chair. He felt as though the boy would somehow punish him if he mistepped. As the new gym leader, he certainly had more power than Manta anyway. Manta was a little nervous as he began to leave. Besides a few choice faces, he did not know any of these other people, though he didn't put too much time in looking. Loud and crowded places were frustrating places for him. Walking through the doors to the outside quickly reminded him of the blinding sunlight. It was a big difference from the indoors. Manta was happy that he and his pokemon were out of that small space. Manta decided to release his Gardevoir. They had a special relationship and Manta liked talking to her, even if she didn't always respond. "So I guess we're putting our contest pursuits on hold for a bit." Manta began. He looked at gardevoir who stared back. "Well yeah, I suppose we could participate and still look for suspicious things." Gardevoir nodded. "But which way should we go?" Manta continued. Gardevoir turned in the direction of the large bike bridge. "That way? but I don't have a bike...I guess we can walk under the bridge then." Gardevoir closed its eyes and nodded. "You're so smart, gardevoir!" Manta cheered. "Alright, but let's explore the city first. We rushed here so fast, we didn't get a chance before."

Landon listened, quiet and patient and calm, as a very stressed Steven, Wallace, and Blake appeared to provide explanation. He'd been musing quietly in the back corner until they had appeared to discuss the situation. It certainly explained the reason for the invitation and the strange gathering at the very least. Shrugging, he turned to his Lombre and Meganium, who both gave noncommittal headjerks to their trainer in response. His other friend, Froslass, had requested to be put in her Pokeball in her strange excited snowy moaning method of communication, because it was too warm within the heated town. The entire city was contained within a large building and though it was shiny and Landon was sure it was pretty to some, it seemed almost like an affront to Mother Earth to the teenager to live so sheltered and separated from her beautiful flora and fauna. However, Landon knew that he himself didn't always understand the world and how it needed to work but if Gaea could tolerate Mauville, he could do his best to behave for a few hours at a time.
The barefoot teen walked slowly toward the front of the crowd, trying not to push but his excited Meganium doing a pretty good job of parting the crowd to lead the way. Lombre lazily followed. Upon evolution the creature had become more active than before but he still had lazy periods and this seemed to be an off moment for whatever reason. Maybe something was bothering him. As they approached the table, Landon quickly spotted his first prize. They had been invited to take a TM to teach their Pokemon and he happily obliged, grabbing for TM22 Solar Beam. He held the green disc in his hands for a moment before putting it in his makeshift rucksack and securing the rest of his possessions. Landon liked to travel light but he would carry essentials...as well as pretty things he sometimes collected off the ground (which he was convinced were gifts from Gaea displaying her favor toward his path and actions).
The laid-back trainer then grabbed a Key Stone, just one, and slid the shiny, colorful object into his pocket, brushing against his green Pokenav for a moment before remembering it might be a good idea to meet with some of the trainers in the room before they all left. He was fairly certain he was familiar with a couple of them but there were many he had never encountered before nor even heard of and he knew his Meganium looked like she was eager for a battle. Froslass was always the same way so he could count on her in a battling situation as well if it came down to that. And Lombre always liked battling but was strange about it, he neither avoided nor sought out battles and would not admit to enjoying them but he did always seem excited by the rush.
Continuing around the table and past a few more trainers, with a goal hazily set in his mind, Landon was followed by Meganium and Lombre now (who had mounted Meganium and was slouching all over his back like a silly, tired monkey). They made their way now to Blake. The young boy was not dressed eccentrically nor particularly sloppily but his choice of dress made it clear he had tried to pick it out himself, though Landon was not really one to judge based on the state of clothing given his own raggy, dirty clothes from all his travelling (and dislike of washing machines). He approached the younger boy, who was apparently a formidable trainer, and bowed slightly to show respect, maintaining eye contact as he greeted him, "Hello Blake, my name is Landon, Landon Hall. These," he pointed to his proud Meganium who was standing tall and the sprawling Lombre on his back, "are two of my Pokemon friends, Lombre and Meganium. We're all very delighted and honored to meet you."

MDF- The young boy looked up calmly. His wide eyes and poor worn clothes made the boy appear even younger. The young boy's dedenne began to spark wildly from its cheeks disapprovingly. The boy's hand plopped squarely on the little mouse's head and it calmed down. He didn't seem much like a talker. In fact, his energy level was almost matching that of the low voltage surroundings. The boy waved innocently, though with no words in particular and continued to kick his feet. It wasn't that he was ignoring the trainer, but it seemed as though blake wasn't all there. Daydreaming perhaps? There was a bit of silence before the boy finally spoke up. He looked up with widened eyes. "If you show me a cool electric type move, I'll give you something cool." His lips formed a wide absent minded smile as he turned back to the table and continued kicking his legs.

Manta made it to a nearby shop. They were selling various treats, though he wasn't sure if they were appropriate for pokemon. He saw another shop providing pokemon attack tutoring that caught his eye, but it required a trade for an item he didn't possess. Gardevoir seemed interested in the messages, but Manta was preoccupied in the nearby bike shop. Manta and his pokemon stumbled over to do some window shopping. Event?

Kaiser was still inspecting the Keystone when he saw a girl coming out of the Gym, a Linoone and a Gliscor following her, Kaiser raised his head to check if she was somebody he knew, turned out she wasn't. Though the girl seemed nice enough to come by and introduce herself "Hi, I'm Car-" she started sayign before she realized her Linoone had ran away, forcing the girl to follow it "sorry, another time!" was all she managed to say before leaving. Probably her pokemon did that often since she didn't looked surprised, maybe it was just fooling around but in any case, she followed and he understood, no matter how strong or well trained a pokemon is, leaving it alone in a city you don't know was not a good idea, so following the Linoone was the obvious thing to do at the momment.
As he saw the girl runnign in the distance Kaiser raised his hand "good bye" he said as the girl ran after her pokemon. The young trainer looked around, still not many people had left the Gym, and he was already getting bored by just standing there just waiting, maybe he'd take a look around and return? Taking his backpack from the floor Kaiser stared walking around the huge building this city was, he was really surprised, he had heard that Hoenn had some amazing places to visit, but and entire city being housed in just one huge building was beyond anything he'd imagined.
It took him really a while to find an exit, probably not the first one he had passed by, but the first one he managed to succesfully notice. Kaiser walked out the building, to see whare this exit led him, it didn't took hims long to see a sign with Route 110 written on it. Kaiser took a few more steps and inspected the route, so far it seemed like a really average route, except for the big Bike Road above it, maybe it was the fastest way to cross it, but right now, he was more interested in check the surroundings, maybe he could find a pokemon to add to his team? After all, if Steven and company wanted him to help them, he'd have to become stronger and even when he trusted the pokemon he had with him, it wouldn't hurt to have some more help.

After a bit of waiting, the jeweler emerged with the Keystone set in Carli's charm bracelet. It was beautiful. The colors that were swirling and glowing on the Keystone reflected lightly on the silver of the bracelet. Everything looked so happy and radiant. He then demanded pay and she simply mentioned Steven and how he sent her. His face instantly went from stern and dedicated to happy and relieved. The man even complimented her after and laughed happily. That champion surely had some sort of positive relationship with the locals considering how happy this guy suddenly became. Penn then swooped down from the top of the building and into the shop. He landed next to her silently, only noticed when his likely poked her in the back.
"Fine," she said, still mesmerized by the charm, "we can go. Thanks so much, sir. I really appreciate the work you put it. It is beautiful." Bailey scampered up Carli's leg, up her back, then over her shoulder and into her arms. Penn took off through the entrance of the store and remained in earshot of his trainer. Carli then stopped at a nearby sign to examine the map of the region. To one side, the water and Route 110. To another, a volcano and Route 111. The choice was almost instant for her. Heading toward cool, refreshing water with a Pokemon like Charlie to ride on if need be was an excellent choice. She announced it to her Gliscor and the group shot toward the Route.
Once there, the trainer released Charlie. He had only been contained in the Pokeball for an hour or two, but still let out a happy cry. It was much more comfortable to be outside with everyone than to be stuck in the void of a Pokeball. There was literally no way for him to know what was going on from inside and it bothered the Pokemon deeply. The group spent a moment walking then stopped to enjoy the surroundings. Everything seemed so alive.

Kaiser Near the entrance to the city, an odd humming sound could be heard. Normally attributed to electrical equipment, one would assume that it came from the towers above, however this sound was getting louder, as if it were coming closer. Above, hanging by a nearby tree, a large blue and yellow arachnid pokemon was searching through the trees from a good place to make a nest. It put its feelers into the air to test the electricity in the air, making a small humming sound each time it attempted this. female, approx. lv. 36 Speshal- near the waters edge just ahead, what looked like a a moving pile of brown fur rested next to the lake, taking a long sip of water. People from a far were observing it with special interest. One woman commented that it looked like her swinub, pointing to another furry pokemon and giving identity to her claim. She seemed puzzled, commenting that wild ones typically dob't travel to warmer spots like this. Apparently finally noticing the other people with its poor hearing, the pokemon turned around and began to small the air. Its eyes were covered and only its nose proved to be a useful tool for sensing its surrounding. The pokemon was surprisingly quick, sniffing one spot to the next, finally identifying the many people in the area. It hastily charged at the nearest trainer and her dragonair with a take down attack. female, approx. lv. 29
