Sorry, but quick question Is there a cart or some other form of group transportation that would take people in and out of Ba Sing Se? Are there marked areas where it would be easier for people to enter if they are walking on foot? I can't remember how the gaang entered the city.

There is a train system in Ba Sing Se, I know that. The city is divided in to rings (upper, middle, lower). The Gaang entered Ba Sing Se on Appa, so that's probably why they didn't detail the transportation all that much.
The Avatar wiki has a lot of the information you need.

God bless the Avatar Wiki tbh. The entirety of my visible tabs while writing the bios for Michi and Yuan-Wei were all pages from the wiki because I literally don't remember any specifics from the series. otl

I actually had looked at the monorail before but it seems to only operate within the city's walls and doesn't go outside. It's a bit difficult since Ba Sing Se doesn't have any designated gateways and guards will just bend an opening. I think I'll have a post done by the end of the day, sorry for the delay.

okay, #teamfierceladies from me bc that's literally all i have in this roleplay is growing.
name: jia li tsui age: twenty one gender: female sexuality: pansexual bender type: firebender
appearance: Though her eyes are a greener type of golden and her hair is a lighter brown than most, there’s no mistake that Jia Li’s from the Fire Nation. Her lighter brown hair is usually hanging loose and wild just past her shoulders - though sometimes she relents and puts it up in a twisted bun. Her eyes always have a twinkle of /something/ to them - whether it be mischief, anger, who knows. She stands at about 5’4”, with an average, toned build from her martial arts and bending training. She tends to wear a mix of fire nation and earth kingdom styles, though she prefers the reds and golds. personality: headstrong, independent, intimidating, abrasive, a firecracker in most senses of the word, opinionated, sarcastic, tends to talk too much & get carried away with conversations, doesn’t always know when to stop talking, affectionate to some, short-fused, ambitious, does what she needs to get what she wants (/tries/ to avoid stepping on people), self-reliant, determined, isn’t afraid to speak her mind, honest. interests & hobbies: writing poetry, documenting her travels, making boys/people cry, drinking, meditating, talking about things she likes, practicing her bending.
history/background: Jia Li was born and raised in Yu Dao, one of the Fire Nation colonies to a firebending family. She grew up there, like most other children, without the brainwashing propaganda of the Fire Nation Army. She has mixed heritage in terms of bending, with her father being an earthbender. She didn’t much know her father, since he passed away when she was young. Jia Li had an uneventful childhood with her mother - who stayed single after Jia Li’s father passed. She started showing signs of firebending young, and with that her mother helped her train every day. They were wealthy enough like most of the families in Yu Dao, but her mother was enough of a firebending master to teach her daughter and save on lessons. Plus, Jia Li seemed to have that raw talent for firebending and picked up whatever she was taught quickly. It wasn’t long before Jia Li took to pursuing training with other types of weapons, such as swords and throwing knives so she could defend herself in any situation. That way she could also hide the fact she could firebend since people weren’t always eager to trust a firebender.
Jia Li had left Yu Dao to travel and see the other colonies on the day she heard the Avatar had returned. Something in her told her she needed to find him - she wasn’t sure why. Call it a gut feeling, but she knew she needed to meet the avatar and help him on whatever path he or she was going down. other: father (earthbender, deceased), mother (firebender). • she’s most comfortable fighting with throwing knives and projectiles.

Hm...since they're both of similar age and grew up in Yu Dao, what do you think are Jia Li's chances of knowing Michi?

I'd think the chances are pretty good! Michi seems like the type of person she'd get along with and that they could tease each other mercilessly in good fun?

Would it be all right for Casper(not yet renamed) to be a part of the Dai Li? Or rather, would that make sense? I was thinking he would have been picked up and chosen to stay in order to provide Faye with a better life in Ba Sing Se.

Pandora i don't think that'd work or be in the realm of possibility, really. the dai li is an elite police force/agency and they don't just pick someone up. if casper was a part of the dai li, he'd essentially be bound to ba sing se and a part of the dai li for life.
