Dongyoon noticed the alley, immediately becoming cautious that it could be a trap. When he walked in, though, he realised the Beheeyem had turned and directed its lights at him and Gieo- the Klink sprang to action, using their body to shield the lights from the Beheeyem if it was about to attack their owner. "I mean no harm," Dongyoon stated, raising his hands into the air as he slowly moved forward, "I was curious and followed. I really didn't expect this to lead to...well, this." At the sight of the duo's owner, Dongyoon noticed the gaunt state of the woman and gave a little bow to her. "I...don't have much on hand, since I just returned from overseas," he admitted, but rummaged into his satchel to pull out two expensive looking bottles of Moomoo Milk, "This is all I have left- some Moomoo Milk from Sinnoh. Oh, don't worry about me, I can get more whenever I want. Please accept this for you and your Pokémon, just as a gift for entertaining us so much." Curse the currency exchange, mused Dongyoon to himself, knowing that with Sinnoh to Kalos's Pokédollar rate, whatever change he gave the woman would be the equivalent of overinflated garbage, Might as well make it sincere.

speshal - Escape successful (Venonat's spd: 45 >2x Litwik's spd: 20) Upon escaping, the trainer had collided with a younger boy and his partner pokemon, Deino. "Ouch! What did you do that for!" The hotheaded boy shouted, "You're gonna pay for that! Chompy, use Bite!" He commanded. Deino, Lv: 18
Penny dropped from Aspen's arms when the two trainers collided. Before she could properly react to the collision, she was struck by the teeth of the boy's Deino. Once her released her, she stepped back. She was already tired from the previous battle and immediately jumping into another one was not in her best interest. Rather than charge forward this time, she ran back to her trainer and stood by his leg. Aspen knelt down and scratched her head before releasing Nessa from her ball. She gave a small twirl upon release, as if shaking off the red light from her Pokeball. "Alright, I guess we're battling?" Aspen asked aloud, assessing the situation and the enemy Pokemon. Truthfully, he had no clue what Pokemon it was. He knew most Pokemon from Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, and Sinnoh, but was struggling with recollection of the Kalos Pokemon. It had the appearance of a Dragon-type, but seemed to be reliant on its fangs like many Dark-types. Rather than guess which it may be, he pulled out his Pokedex for a quick scan. It read back to him confirm that it was not either or, but both. "Okay, okay. Nessa, Leech Seed," Aspen suggested. The Petilil nodded its small head and began twirling again. As it sped up, small seeds flew from her leaves. Many took root in the ground, sprouting and dying quickly. Some landed on the enemy, taking root and growing greener than those which sprouted in the ground. The enemy Deino tried to shake them loose but struggled. "Chompy, now use Dragon Breath!" The enemy trainer screeched, pointing his finger forward as if in some exaggerated T.V. show. The Deino stopped shaking and let out a stream of blue flames at Nessa. She ran perpendicular to the flames and managed to dodge the first couple seconds of the attack, but was scorched by the end of it. Luckily, the seeds that she had planted on the dinosaur began draining its life and restoring hers. She felt her energy growing as his was siphoned into her. It was not a full recovery from the attack, but it definitely cushioned the blow. "Ness, Magical Leaf," Aspen said, much more confident this time. The small plant took a few steps forward before a leap into the air. She twirled into her leap, spinning through the air and building an array of glowing purple leaves. After reaching her peak, she stopped spinning and dropped to the ground. The moment her stumps touched the concrete the storm of leaves shot toward the Deino. It tried dodging but only made things worse. As it ran around frantically it actually gathered more falling leaves than it would have just standing its ground. "What?" The boy exclaimed, taking one step forward and immediately another back. He was stubborn, and wouldn't let his Deino lose, "Headbutt! Now!" "Sleep Powder, Ness," Aspen said simultaneously. He knew she wasn't quite able to shoot Sleep Powder forward, but she could certainly use it as a defense if the enemy was coming at her. The Deino shook off the leaves that stuck in its hide. Nessa regained a bit of energy at this moment but quickly felt the drain cut off. The leaves that it had shaken off must have also pulled the Leech Seeds out. Then, the Deino began his charge. Nessa began to twirl, just as she did with her other attacks, but this time releasing a wave of small spores. As the Deino entered the cloud he began to slow down, eventually stopping before reaching her. It hadn't fallen asleep but was clearly drowsy. "I think we need to end it here," Aspen suggested, "I don't feel right fighting a Pokemon half-asleep." He knew it was a low blow to suggest this after commanding the attack, but he was ready for the battle to end. If the boy agreed to end the fight, Aspen planned to continue down the street and explore further. [[End battle? If ended, would like to continue down the street for a new event.]]

Malie and Manta walked calmly throught the streets, observing the busy lifestyle of the townspeople. He wasnt too curious about living here himself, but it was an interesting place. The buildings, the shops, the cafes; all things that he didnt see in Alola. Malie, who was originally from Kalos, didnt seem to enthralled with the scenery. In fact, she appeared preoccupied with another matter. A pokemon flying overhead caught her attention. It seemed to be bothering her, as she began to flail to get out of Manta's arms. Wiithout looking, Manta opened his arms to drop her, knowing that she could handle a small fall like that by surrounding herself with psychic energy. As she landed, she began waving at the ledyba, trying to get it to leave. Manta finally managed to take his gaze away from his surroundings and more on his pokemon. "Ah!" MAnta began to panic as he tried to figure out the situation. "Disarming Voice!" He called. Malie's horn glowed a light pink for just a second, as his ralts gave a brief cute shout. Pink mist accompanied the call, showing some type of damaging effect. Ledyba fell back mid flight, falling into the nearby flowerbed. The move was successful But it appeared Manta had been a bit hasty with his attack. The ledyba didnt seem very hostile at first, but now that it had been targeted, it became visibly angry. It held up a single fist, pointing it forward. With minimal use of its wings, it managed to rush towards Malie like a blur and strike with a mach punch. Malie attempted to endure with her small body. Thankfully the ledyba was relatively weak in attack strength and as a fighting type move, it had little effect on his ralts. Still, to catch her off guard like that was surely a feat. At the very least, Manta had to get serious. As the ledyba came in to attack again, Manta reacted swiftly this time, having already seen the move. "Double team!" Manta called out. This prompted a quick response from Malie, who instantly split into two forms using her psychic power. As the first one was struck with a mach punch and disappeared, the real form of Malie had jumped on top of the low flying Ledyba. "confusion!" Malie's horn glowed brightly as it released a wave of psychic energy on its fall, pushing ledyba onto the ground and cushioning its landing. A disoriented ledyba hastily flew away into the distance. "Good job, Malie haha" Manta chuckled. He was proud of his partner for handling that so well. His ralts had come a long way from when he first received her as a gift and went out on his journey. She use to have so much trouble defending herself that a single attack was all that was needed for him to lose a battle. Now she could handle herself with ease. It was truly inspiring. "You know, since you dont look tired, we can eat and walk." He stated as he reached into his bag to fetch a berry. He offered half of a Kee berry to Ralts as he popped the other half in his mouth. "Your battling skills are getting better, Malie. Youre improving every day." Malie smiled as she walked along side him, occasionally chomping at her berry. "Sorry that I wasnt watching before haha" He apologized, "I should really pay attention." He was in fact sorry. H could have handled the situation differently, even if it was just a random encounter. "Should we look around some more?" Manta asked Malie. She shook her head in confirmation. "Alright, let's go!" Event?

The almost silent fluttering of tiny wings just barely drew attention to the tiny pink pokemon flying overhead. The scent of flowers followed it around as it landed on the heads of various passerbys. First on a tall woman with a colorful hat, then on a muscular fellow who blushed at the sight of the little pokemon. The pink bird like creature fluttered about, hopping on the heads of various people, seemingly enjoying it, as it made its way towards Sun. After escaping the encounter with the young feisty trainer, Aspen continued down the open city sidewalk. Nessa and Penny walked happily beside him, both slowly recovering from the battle. Thankfully, there were few dark alleys in sight that another ghost could appear from and try to take his life. Even better, most of the alleyways were littered with Grimer near the entrances, making it near impossible for any ghost to take advantage of them.
Within a few moments of crossing the first intersection on this street, a Grimer managed to overturn a garbage can outside of some sort of supermarket. After realizing its mistake, it slithered away into the nearby drain. A small purple orb rolled from the pile of rubbish toward Aspen. He knelt down to pick it up and toss it into the pile, but withdrew his hand as he got closer to the orb. Being so close to the small object caused some sort of mild nerve sensation. He approached it slower this time, kneeling down and inching his fingers closer and closer until he could feel the pain again. Aspen snapped his hand back. He pulled his backpack around and removed a green rag. After inching forward with this he noticed that the pain did not actually occur. Noting that this had to be some sort of battle item, he wrapped it up and placed it in his bag. If he found some sort of battle professional or a feature on his Pokedex he would attempt to identify it.
After helping an employee of the shop shovel the remains of the trash into a neater pile for the strangely colored Grimer to come by and clean, he continued down the street toward a greener area. It was a park or plaza of some sort. Aspen wasn't quite sure where he was in the city at this point, but was more than happy to continue exploring until he got a call to action from the professors.

speshal "Ew, Gross!" A shriek could be heard not too far away. A pair of employees from the furfrou salon, one man and one woman, shouted at a small green pokemon as they plugged their noses. The small pokemon, looked up sadly at their reaction, it only wanting scraps of garbage like they had given the grimer earlier. Unfortunately, due to its smell and most likely also its looks, it instead got shrieks of disgust and disapproval. The now visibly angry pokemon began to lash out, angry at the mistreatment. It began spreading poison gas around the area, causing onlookers to flee into their buildings. The two previous salon employees began throwing hair products at the pokemon from the window to make it leave, but this only prompted the small poison pokemon to launch rocks from its mouth in retaliation. The rocks struck down the opposing projectiles, finally reaching the shatterproof window. Regardless of its durability, the striking of rocks to their building only left the duo shrieking louder. dracoon - The woman, who hadn't been shown any sort of kindness in a long time, motioned with her hand for her Zorua (who was growling at the trainer) to stand down and allowed the Beheeyem to approach and pick up the two bottles. She smiled and thanked him before pouring one bottle into a bowl for Zorua and then handing the other back to Beheeyem to drink. "Go ahead," she said, "I'll be fine Mr. B." She smiled weakly and then looked back at the trainer and stood. She moved forward with a limp and reached into her coat pocket, removing a small object and placing it in his hands. "It's not much, but maybe it will help a kind trainer like you in a pinch."
Item: Destiny Knot
Mizumanta - In a nearby puddle from the rain, a group of small tadpoles could be seen splashing and playing. When they spotted a trainer coming towards them, most of them hopped away to avoid any confrontation, but one stayed behind, curious about the voice of the Ralts it had heard in the nearby battle.
Tympole, Lv: 16, Special Clause: It wants to sing with Ralts

"Hmm?" Sun looked up, noticing a small pink pokemon floating towards her. Before she could react it landed on her head, "Uh, excus-" she started, but trailed off by an enticing scent that was coming from the little bird. She was so distracted by the sweet scent, her body relaxed and her tablet fell out of her hands. Being quick, Cottonee launched a puff of cotton underneath it with its Cotton Spore attack just in time! It then looked over to it's trainer and the pokemon on her head. Cottonee was a bit puzzled, as was Burmy. The Burmy tried to climb up its trainer to investigate, but was bombarded with a flurry of cotton, completely cloaking it and causing it to lose its balance and fall off. The little puffball chirped angrily at the nude Burmy and floated closer to admire it's clothing skills. Cottonee's eyes widened with joy at the sight of a properly cloaked Burmy, but when it looked up to see Sun's approval she was still being distracted by the annoying smelly bird.
"Nee!" it shouted, flying upwards and slapping the Spritzee in the face with its wide leafy appendage. Spritzee tumbled off backwards and quickly launched a Fairy wind attack on the rebound to blow away its attacker. Cottonee was fast too, however, and created a body double by sacrificing a bit of its own health. The double was destroyed by the gust of magical air, but it bought time for Cottonee to move out of the way and deliver an attack! Without the command of a trainer, Cottonee simply tackled Spritzee full force, knocking it backwards even more. The distance seemed to break Sun's spell, who didn't seem to understand what was happening.
"A battle?" She asked, rubbing her head, "Uh okay then, C-Cottonee try a Leech Seed!" She called out. Her pokemon puffed up a bit and then lurched forward, launching a barrage of tiny seeds and shrinking back to its original size. Each seed sprouted when it collided with a target, but quickly withered away if there was no health to sap. The Spritzee easily evaded the seeds and shouted with an eerie and echoey tone. The sound waves became visible and struck both Cottonee and Sun, knocking them back a bit. It launched another, this time knocking them both further back. "With every hit that attack grows stronger, we have to finish it now!" Sun shouted and Cottonee nodded and chirped. "Time to use one of our combo attacks! Growth and Razor Leaf!" The trainer ordered, causing her Cottonee to instantly grow in size. Its new larger size allowed it to absorb the sound waves coming from Spritzee and negate their damage, and while Spritzee prepared another attack, Cottonee flew in and slashed at the opponent with one of its now-longer leaves. Spritzee fell into the grass, instantly K.O.d
Cottonee shrunk down to its normal size and then landed on its trainers head, directing her gaze proudly with its leaves towards Burmy, who was now naked and standing on top of a pile of cotton. The confused trainer laughed at her Burmy's proud hands-on-its-hips stance while the Pokemon on her head began to angrily flail about.

"I...thank you," Dongyoon stammered, looking down at the Destiny Knot in his hand. He didn't quite recognise the item, as dirty as it was, but it was something that the woman probably had cherished, and he accepted it with a grin. Waving the trio goodbye and wishing them the best of luck, Dongyoon exited the alley, taking in the scenes along the way as he finally found the exit to the glitzy parts of Lumiose. Though, he couldn't help but turn back to the narrow path he had exited from, somewhat worried for the lady from before. "We should...we should move," he stated at last, nearly forgetting Gieo was still with him as he finally allowed himself to place the Knot inside his satchel. The Klink looked around- they were now close to the Stone and Pokéball Emporium, Dongyoon's knowledge of the general geography of the city allowing him to take a little shortcut. He slung his bag on his shoulder, window shopping a little now but the woman's pallid frame and her humble surroundings still weighing deeply on his mind. Gieo observed this but said nothing, following behind their owner and looking at the Stones on display, reacting to the Thunderstone neatly placed as a centrepiece with a few sparks: until they saw a figure from the glass and turned, ready to attack if needed.

Hearing splashing nearby, Manta and Malie witnessed the movement of a pokemon that neither of them had seen before. Their little faces were adorable and they were tiny enough that Manta could see himself cuddling with one endlessly. He pulled out his pokedex and did a quick scan of the mysterious blue being. "Tympole, the Tadpole Pokemon. By vibrating its cheeks, it emits sound waves imperceptible to humans. It uses the rhythm of these sounds to talk" The machine made a few chirping noises before closing once again. "So it came out because of the rain?" He tiptoed over, not wanting to scare the pokemon, and positioned himself to be as non threatening as possible. This made him look a bit foolish to anyone who did not see the other pokemon in front of him. "Howdy!" He chirped. Malie came from behind his leg to also say hello. The tympole looked like it was dancing or trying to wiggle its ears, but just as the pokedex had suggested, he couldnt hear it at all. "Hmm..." Manta pondered. "It looked like it was watching the fight between you and the ledyba. Do you think it liked your voice?" Malie looked confused. She hadnt tried to sound nice or anything. She certainly couldnt repeat the attack to demonstrate right next to the tiny pokemon. Malie shook her head in frustrated concern. She didnt want to hurt the little pokemon that was so helpless in this environment. See his pokemon's discomfort, Manta respected her feelings and backed up. Now that he thought about it, the tympole's friends probably wouldnt come back for him if Manta stuck around. He felt a bit bad as well, as he was inevitably going to disappoint tympole as well. Manta decided to sing back. "See you later~" In an attempt to make it feel better. Now passing by the fashion part of town, Manta was suddenly compelled to attach his Key Stone to his shirt. He noticed that once he fashioned it, the pin wouldnt budge even if he wanted to force it off. That was good, he supposed, as he didnt want to lose it while running or anything. As he did so, Sally, the Salandit came out of her pokeball on her own, something that she frequently did, and ran off. This wasnt too uncommon for Manta to see, and it wasnt like he could catch her if he wanted to. Sally was quick and could even scale walls thanks to her special feet. But she would come back. She always did. "Hey, let's surprise Sally by getting a bit stronger while she's out, huh?" Manta asked Malie. His ralts cheered again, though whether it was to be in agreement or just to be supportive was a little unclear. Event?clef Tiny feet pitter-pattered across the ground. At first they sounded close, but upon further inspection, the sound was coming from the distance. A humanoid like pokemon was jogging a bit of a ways away, apparently training on its own. No trainer could be seen watching it, and the townspeople seemed a bit uncomfortable with it around, hinting that it wasnt normally found there. Circling the outer circle of the city, it escaped fom view, but its path was rather predictable, as it was probably jogging in a circle like any other person. Pokemon Found: Approximate level: 15

A cold chill could be felt as this happened, with a few snowflakes falling to the ground before quickly melting to the heat of the concrete. A few seconds later, a deep gaze was given from another blind spot before disappearing again. This time, an icy wind could clearly be seen. Finally, phazing through the glass window of a nearby shop, a small grey pokemon loomed over the trainer and the pokemon. Gieo turned and saw the trail of snowflakes, giving a shrug before returning to follow Dongyoon. Gong, however, rubbed her arms a bit, feeling the chill before the temperature around them soon dipped. Dongyoon paused, surprised by this, before he turned to meet the Duskull face to face. "Woah-!" Dongyoon exclaimed, taken aback as the Duskull let loose more ice in their direction- only to be blocked by Gieo, the Klink immediately seeing this as a threat and letting loose a blast of sparks at the other as a warning. (93, 1-10 for paralysis)
Duskull floated up, finding this less fun now that there was a response before swooping in for an Astonish, trying to startle the Klink, which succeeded- Gieo was taken aback by this, but soon recovered by Dongyoon's shouts. (23, 1-30 for flinch) The Duskull was soon squished in between its gears painfully, the Klink's body separating themselves for a split second before grinding the Duskull's trapped vessel together in a Gear Grind. Duskull struggled, releasing a Night Shade to free itself before once again blowing a flurry of snow at Gieo, now getting increasingly serious. (98, 1-10 for freeze) Dongyoon cupped his chin, focused on the situation and knowing Gieo couldn't keep constantly separating themselves or risk exhaustion. "Gieo, just Charge!" he commanded, and the Klink's gears turned more furiously, glowing slightly to power up their next move, "Put some space between yourself and them, remember what we did before!" Gieo bobbed away quickly, refusing to meet the other's unnerving gaze before once again releasing a flurry of sparks directed at the Duskull- a weak Thundershock (91, 1-10 for paralysis). The Duskull shook its head, disappearing for a few moments before once again reappearing to startle the Klink (41, 1-30 for flinch), but Gieo merely blinked for a few moments and then once again grinded their gears in another Charge.
The repeatedly powered up Thundershocks were wearing down the Duskull, however, and in a poor bid to escape, it waved its tendrils and blew another flurry of snowflakes at Gieo to break their focus. (53, 1-10 for freeze) Gieo, unfazed, swooped in once more, releasing both their gear heads and once again smashing into both sides of the semi-tangible ghost, grinding its body painfully to punish it for the scare. "Gieo, stop! It's already down!" yelled Dongyoon, and the floating gears released its victim, bobbing patiently for their owner's next move. With a sigh, Dongyoon expanded a freed up Premier Ball and lightly lobbed it at the Duskull's direction, feeling sorry for it.

Duskull Captured male
Sassy Nature Increase Special Defense Decrease Speed Bio: Duskull came from the Lost Hotel in Northern Kalos. Its species prides itself on its ability to scare humans and other pokemon, so it trained hard. However, the punks and tough trainers who had occupied the area were use to ghost type antics, and were not afraid of Duskull, weakening its confidence. Duskull decided to travel to a new area to try and scare a different group of people who were unfamiliar with it, even learning a powerful ice type move to chill the air and aid in its intimidation. It also doesnt like being scared itself.

It took a couple moments before the Pokemon's stench finally made it to him. Luckily, he reacted quick and plugged his nose. He knew at this point there was no escaping the scent. His best option was to try to get rid of the Pokemon. If not for the terrified employees, for himself and his own sense of smell. The trainer whipped out his Pokedex, hoping to gather whatever data he could on the strange green monster before approaching. It mentioned something about the stench being released when it was uncomfortable and could be stopped if its mind was eased. It then released a cloud of gas, further complicating the situation. "Okay," Aspen started, kneeling down to speak with Nessa and Penny, his voice nasally from the nose plugging, "we gotta help them. If we don't calm it down or knock it out soon, that gas is gonna spread further and actually hurt people. Penny, can you try a Psybeam?" His Venonat nodded and took a few steps closer, careful not to venture into the poison cloud. The gas began to slowly circle across the cement before her. She had to either charge an attack quick or make a run for it. Thankfully, she choose to charge a Psybeam and strike the enemy. In the little grassy area surrounding the Prism Tower that Sun had been hanging out in she had noticed an odd pokemon that looked almost like a human child jogging around the area. Every time it went past her she could see the determined expression on its face. She eventually whipped out her Pokedex and scanned it as it passed. The device instantaneously spewed out information on the critter: "It is always bursting with energy. To make itself stronger, it keeps on fighting even if it loses. To brush up on its fighting skills, it will challenge anyone. It has a very strong competitive spirit." It said.
"Constant training, huh?" Sun asked herself and then looked back at her pokemon. Burmy sat out of the last battle, and it was probably in need of some training since it hadn't battled a foe since they were back in Sinnoh. "Burmy, its your turn, lets practice your ambush tactics!" She pointed her finger upwards dramatically. The small bagworm hopped up with great height and landed on his trainer's shoulder, peering forward to look at his opponent. "Tyrogue is constantly training, so battling it would be good for both of us!" She added in, to make sure Burmy knew why they were going to surprise attack a wild pokemon. Sun didn't really care for the 'fairness' of a battle as she was a firm believer in the phrase "All's fair in love and war." and a battle could be classified as war!
"String Shot, now!" She snapped her fingers. Burmy leaped forward and spit a long, thin, stream of silk towards Tyrogue with the intent of snagging it mid-jog. In an instant, the wild pokemon tilted its head and a gleam appeared in its eye. It swiftly dodged the attack and then wrapped the string around its left fist, pulling Burmy forward about 20 feet and slamming him with a hardened fist, knocking him into a sandy pit amidst the grass (Possibly where a statue was removed). "Such speed!" Sun exclaimed in awe, "Hurry, Protect!" she commanded. Burmy moved with blinding speed to cover himself in the sand he had been knocked into. Tyrogue ran forward for a tackle attack, but upon collision with the Sandy Cloak he was the one who was sent backwards. The Cloak was glowing with white energy, but then crumbled away after protecting from the attack. "Bug Bite!" She called out. Burmy's little beak opened up and an orb of greenish yellow energy appeared, it then snapped its mouth shut on the orb causing the energy to erupt and surround the beak with the same energy. The bug ran forward on his hind legs at the Tyrogue preparing to use a high powered bug technique, but was quickly struck down again by a Fake Out. Tyrogue had made it seem like it had no guard up but then quickly spun into a kick.
"Nothing is working!" Sun was sweating. Her Burmy was visibly damaged as well, "Just dodge for now while I think of a strategy." Burmy nodded and made a clicking sound, jumping up to avoid another swift kick. The two were an even match for speed, but the Tyrogue easily outmatched Burmy in strength and durability. A physical attack would not work for this opponent, "I got it! Use hidden power!" Sun shouted. Burmy, still midair, released a circle of white orbs that rotated around him, within a few moments they crackled with electricity and were all launched downward one by one. Each time one hit the ground a tiny explosion of energy would erupt, but after the dust cleared it was apparent that the fast Tyrogue dodged all of them easily! How did she underestimate this foe so much before attacking? How could she be so hot headed!?
"Burmy, looks like our only choice is that Technique we've been working on." Sun's demeanor changed to be a bit more calm, as if she was no longer cocky about winning this fight. She respected the opponent. Burmy turned around with a worried look, opening himself up to be punched and sent back towards his trainer again, "Don't worry Burmy, I know it doesn't always work, but we've got this!" She clenched her fist. The bagworm weakly stood up and shrugged off some dust. "String Shot: Net formation!" Sun called out first, causing Burmy to puff up his chest and spew a large ball of white silk at the enemy that then began to take up the shape of a spider web flying towards Tyrogue. She knew Tyrogue had the speed to dodge this and the strength to cleave it with a swift chop, so she called out the next part of their attack, "Hidden Power!" Burmy launched the same set of crackling energy orbs, but this time at his own net. Normally at this part, if the energy wasn't perfectly balanced, the net would be vaporized. In the heat of this battle, however, it was pulled off perfectly and the net was infused with an electricity-like energy creating an Electroweb attack!
The Electroweb was now much faster and impossible for Tyrogue to dodge, so it readied its hand to chop through the net but was met with a devastating amount of energy coursing through its body, along with being wrapped up in the net, immobilizing it. The Tyrogue wriggled and struggled, but could not get free from the bondage of the silk. For a moment, Sun pondered capturing this new Pokemon. It was definitely a formidable foe so it would make an even better ally, but its shallow movepool made for a hard time dealing with special attacks. She eventually decided against it, and approached. "Burmy, free it please." She asked, her Burmy used bug bite to slice through the silk and release the weakened Tyrogue. "Thank you for a worthy challenge." She said, then turned to walk away.

The white ball shook for a few moments before falling silent. Dongyoon dusted the ball off and picked it up, releasing the nameless Duskull once more- who ran and hid behind Gong, terrified of Gieo. Gieo bobbed up and down, now more friendly seeing that Dongyoon had added the little ghost to his team but relenting to being recalled now that the danger was averted. Gong held the other's tendril, offering it to Dongyoon who watched the ghost with interest. "Gwi," he sounded out the nickname to the creature before shaking the Duskull's cold tendril, "That's your new name. Welcome to the team." The newly nicknamed Gwi spun around Dongyoon's head happily, feeling accomplished for startling them before as well as putting up a good fight, but was soon distracted by the various evolutionary items on display in the Stone Emporium.
With that, though, Dongyoon decided to scan Gwi with the Pokedex function of his Xtransciever, trying to learn more about his new companion. "Duskull, the Requiem Pokémon," intoned the watch, "Duskull is able to become invisible to sneak up on its prey and go through walls. Duskull is primarily a nocturnal Pokémon and has been shown to live in thick forests. It is said that this Pokémon will spirit away disobedient children, and it has been described to enjoy the crying of children. Once Duskull chooses a target, it will doggedly pursue the intended victim until the break of dawn." Dongyoon shrugged, not particularly superstitious or subscribed to such tales either, having such a coldly logical mother as well as one who was basically a whirlwind of destruction and rage. With a sigh, he tore away from the Stone Emporium's display and decided to walk over to the cafés to get himself a coffee. Gong trailed behind with Gwi, more alert than before, before stopping short, suddenly taken by something.

Manta barely finished his proposal to train before a black pokemon creeped its way towards him. "Eh?" Manta stared. It was Sally, his Salandit. But she looked a bit off. It was mostly the look in her eye. "What's wrong, Sally?" Manta took a step forward to get a better look. As he moved, he noticed that Sally was fixated on his bag. She even looked hungry. But Sally never once asked or begged for food. She would always get it herself. Manta glanced briefly at his surroundings. "And there are decorative rivers and fruit trees about in this town. Manta grew more and more suspicious. Sally was much too proud and independent to beg for food. And he has never felt uncomfortable around his pokemon before. "You...are not Sally" Manta said instinctively. The pokemon in front of him confirmed his suspicions, lunging at him with ferocity. As he backed up and attempted to parry, he had to admit, the fighting style was even similar to Sally. "Malie!" He called, prompting his pokemon to leap down and prepare to battle. "I dont know why you look so much like my Sally, but it was the wrong idea to think that we would just let you attack. Malie smiled a bit. Manta's two pokemon would often fight, and Manta would break them up before they got too serious. But this battlewas the next best thing to going all out against her. Manta didnt even have to give an order before Malie began. Malie called out a lucky chant, surrounding herself in a protective aura. even after her chanting ceased, the barrier stayed. She had a bit of trouble with surprise attacks when facing Sally, and was well prepared this time. The opposing Salandit fired off what appeared to be warning shots of ember. only to be countered by yet another voice based attack, disarming voice. THe vibrations from the attack quickly caused the embers to dissipate. It attacked again with a larger attack, a flaming purple ball of energy, a dragon rage attack! Had it been any other pokemon, it might have been significant, but as a fairy type, MAlie could brush the attack off like nothing. That was simple enough, but the fire or dragon attacks weren't even near when he was concerned with. What made Malie and Sally's battles so intense and dangerous was the fact that they each had super effective moves against each other. Malie had psychic attacks, and Sally had... The opposing Salandit retaliated with a smog attack. the purple mist like substance danced through the air strike Malie. the disorienting attack was enough to cause her to lose her balance as she attempted to frantically cover her mouth. Just the smog touching her body was enough to cause her harm. Salandit launched forward to end the battle, but Malie had a final counter in place. Just as with her battles with Salandit, Ralts knew that the only way to dispel the gas was to use confusion to force it away. Her body glowed bright and in an instant, the smog had cleared, dissipating harmlessly into the air. Salandit, who had gone in close to the attack, had been struck by the attack, falling back a few feet. The shock did something that surprised Manta. The pokemon slowly transformed into a ditto! Manta had seen this type of pokemon only once before, as they were rare where he was from. They can transform into any pokemon or really any living thing. He couldn't let this chance pass up. Manta took a step forward, keeping ralts from attacking any further. He pulled out one of the few pokeballs that he had kept with him, activating the mechanism before launching it towards the ditto. Catch attempt?
Item found: Silk Scarf speshalIn a nearby flowershop, a noticeably tall employee was out watering the plants. It looked like a high end place, and the water used looked imported to match. he simply put on a spray top to a few large bottles of imported water and liberally sprayed the surrounding foliage. Hidden among his wares was a small green pokemon. From the position of the employee, the pokemon could not be seen, though from any other position, it would have been obvious. The small pokemon looked overjoyed to be having such pure and clean water sprayed upon it. As the employee left, the small green pokemon hopped out from the various flowers, and began to walk away, its tiny feet moving twice as fast to match the speed of the people around it. Pokemon Found: Approximate level: 18 Special move(s): N/A

Sun decided to head back into the shopping area along one of the avenues since she got all of the souvenir photos of the tower that she would ever need. She would definitely post them on her blog later. While walking, Burmy seemed to have a hard time keeping up so she pulled out the plain pokeball that belonged to him and pressed the button, expanding it and then pressing it again to fire out a beam of red light that absorbed and then converted her partner. The girl continued walking until a breeze picked up and a scrap of fabric clung to her face. She quickly scrambled to remove it and almost tossed it on the ground in disgust before realizing that it looked to be an expensive scarf made of a silky material. Just holding it made her physical strength feel greater for some reason. She decided to shove it into her bag since it might come in handy later.
She knew that her first day was a day to just explore the city before the real work began, but she felt a bit antsy about not doing any of her research. In the midst of this thought, she spotted a Grimer, but something was different. It was green?! In an instant she whipped out her research tablet and began to snap pictures and write down notes on this strange new form. Her Sinnoh Pokedex did not have this pokemon registered so she would have to add an entry to send back to Rowan so he can add it in. The most noticeable thing besides the color was that it didn't smell bad like Grimer were supposed to. It also had teeth or at least tooth like formations within its mouth that oozed yellow slime. It also seemed to eat trash, but what distinguished items that were trash from any item? It seemed that its diet consisted mostly of plastics and decomposing organic matter, but it was capable of digesting just about anything that it could get its hands on. She wanted to battle it to learn more about it, but it looked busy like it might belong to a sanitation crew, so she just sent in her report to her professor.
