Name: Arata Makimoto
Gender: Male
Age: 13
Hometown: Cianwood
Appearance: Medium height, and slightly heavy-set. He has dark pink hair with light purple eyes. Mostly dresses in a dull purple undershirt with a purple hoody, purple gloves, blue jeans and blacks boots. He also wears a necklace with a light blue gem that was given to him by his mother.
Personality: Calm, and mature for his age. He's fairly laidback and easygoing, typically going out of his way to avoid trouble or strife. That is until his sense of justice is stirred up. If he sees people picking on those weaker then themselves, he'll react swiftly to try and put a end to it, at first trying to do so peacefully but if that doesn't work will fight back.
History:
*Was born in Cianwood City
*When he was about four years old he met a trainer with a alakazam and a Musharna, leading him to grow curious/interested in Psychich type pokemon.
*When he was five, his younger sister was born, leading to some insecurity from no longer being a only child, even if he grew extremely protective of her all the same.
*At eight, he started collecting and finding books detailing more about Psychic type Pokemon in general, deepening his fascination with them.
*Shortly before his tenth birthday his parents decided to move to Violet City, partially because it was a fairly easy place to travel to and from and due to the fact it was closer to New Bark Town, which would help Arata when he started his journey.
*When Arata did the test to become a trainer, at the time he was filling it out his younger sister was extremely ill and he was reluctant to leave right then, purposely messing up and missing some of the questions to avoid starting his journey.
*When it came to time to send the second test, Arata grew too excited about being able to possible start his journey, accidentally missing one of the questions and answering incorrectly on several others.
*When it came to his third, and final, test he studied hard the weeks preceding the time of the test, and finally aced it much to his parents' happiness and his sister's disappointment from not wanting to be separated from him.
Pokemon: Psychic
Other: Nothing at the moment.
This looks like it'll be fun~ It is a intriguing set-up to have the older characters need to have different ways to get Pokemon, though. I've never heard of that particular set-up before, e-ehehe.
