Hm...I have someone I want to bring in here, but I'm already using her in another RP (and I use her far too much anyways). DILEMMA.
...Or I could bring in the one already Japanese character I have. Why didn't I think of that sooner.

Thank you for finally getting a Mulan reference in. I suppose we'd better make a man out of him. I'll come up with another character idea tomorrow. It's pretty late here (for someone like me who goes to bed super early).

First idea: Tsubaka Yuki (girl) Amaterasu (which everyone was super surprised about) Third-year She's from Tokyo and has a wizard and witch for parents, but she's a half-blood. She's known she was a witch since she was seven and has been excited to go to school. She's very quiet, but very nice. I kind of want her to be that one person that nobody hates, but she doesn't stand out much except for the surprise in her Sorting. But then she ends up being a very good witch who is forced to stick up for people and realizes there's more to her than meets the eyes. And that's because of...
? Akira (boy) Inari (which no one was surprised about) Fourth-year He's a muggle-born, but his parents think it's really cool that he's a wizard. He was brought up in a small fishing town where he didn't really fit in, but thanks to his mother who came from Tokyo, he had someone who didn't think he had a crazy personality. He's very straight-forward, but he likes to cause all kinds of mischief. He's the first person to talk to Yuki, and they become friends although she's hesitant at first. Akira actually just talked to her at the beginning because he thought it would be fun to play around with someone so quiet, but they actually became good friends. She almost immediately starts liking him because she's never had a guy talk to her before, but he just sees her as a little sister kind of figure. He eventually ends up in some sort of trouble that she has to save him from, but I'm not sure yet what it'll be.
That's it for now!

Dude. I just saw this on tumblr. There's no doubt that Mahou would have uniforms, but what if there was a tradition that allowed students to wear whatever they wanted for one day? Like the day after final exams end or something?

Oh my gosh yes. And you have full-on samurais but then cosplay for the muggle-borns. So much. So little time.

And then there are the people who insist on being traditional and come out decked in full formal kimono. :')
Imagine all the older students teaming up with one or two younger ones to help them with their outfits too. TEAMWORK.
