Okay, that's perfectly understandable. And yes, you're right about that, drac. Schutzen speaks with telepathy, as does that one creepypasta kitty (though I think AlexCaruso has disappeared entirely?) but the comic has also shown that Flying types that don't possess mouths, such as Beautifly, often utilize the ability to communicate with the wind (it was just for a moment and very unexplained, so I'm not sure how best to describe it) rather than through vocal means.

Same except it's early afternoon for you, Kiz, hahaha. Anyway, same thing as Spesh, we'd love to have you but you should be familiar with things first and if it just isn't working for you, you're not obligated to apply. Thanks for your consideration anyway though~ Also...if Abbie doesn't reply by tomorrow afternoon I'll beat her up, hahaha...or just text her to annoy her...

Finished already? And yes, unfortunately. Mewitti is still alive and expresses an interest in continuing but the last update we saw was for April Fool's and it was a gag panel. The blog is still going strong though and has plenty of interesting information to root through regarding worldbuilding~

I'll be rejoining most likely, but I don't think I'm going to do much battling. For some reason I'd rather avoid wild encounters and just explore and blindly challenge gym leaders.

Sounds good to me~ Like I said at some point, gym leaders will probably just be a joke more than anything because I'm looking more for character building than enormously long five month (HERESY!! ;D) gym battles, yknow?

Name: Quetzalcoatl Shaurel (Quez for short) Age: 14 Sexuality: Asexual Appearance: Olive skinned, skinny girl with an hourglass figure. Wavy black hair which is often done up in a high ponytail. She likes to wear soft pinks and purples to accent her skin colour, and enjoys skirts and jumpers. Wears tall boots with knee socks. Opts to wear white finger less gloves when in the field. Light brown scarf tied around her neck. Quez has freckles on her face and all along her body. Light brown eyes.

She is insecure about herself, and always worries about how others will think of her, and will often follow what is deemed best as a group, rather than focusing on her ideals. Quez is usually found in a corner reading a non-fictional book. She works best alone, since no one can judge her.

- Enlisted to the pokemon program like many other youth's of her town, and relocated to Twinleaf town.

Newton (Newt) Strauss // // 15 Asexual Personality
Newton dislikes contact with people. He enjoys their presence and company, but prefers not to hold a conversation. He has a strong fear of messing up but it often fades once he begins performing the action. The only living thing that he is truly social with are his Pokemon, and even then he's a rather quiet person. Often, he may hide to avoid confrontation (although he is not very good at it). In most situations he could spit out a fun fact about whichever Pokemon or move is involved. HistoryNewt grew up in Lumiose City, not to far from the central tower. His family had always lived there and none of them had ever dreamed of leaving, even on a journey, until Newt. Most of his family had been scientists or teachers, so there really was no room for some "rough and tough" adventurer. They all expected him to grow up just like them, and he did for a while. Newt's only hobbies were studying and playing with his Abra, Theodore (Theo), considering they were the only two who seemed to be on the same intellectual level. While he would never dare mention it, he knew he was smarter than all of his family. Around age 10 he decided it would be time to leave. There had to be something else out there for him to see. When he had decided this, his personality changed from quiet and studious to loud and excitable. His classmates, who were similar to his family, would often tease him for this. It stayed this way until he was roughly eleven and half, where his personality was completely out of order in the world of the students. They would not only tease him now, but terribly harass and occasionally physically harm Newt. He then drew his personality back. The only person he completely opens up to anymore is Theo. In order to escape this reality, he decided to go off on an adventure early. Due to this, he missed many lessons on berries and items, but would soon make up for it by studying on the road. This was not only by his own will, but was made to promise to do this by the association distributing trainer cards. PokemonItemsOther: Could I give Theo Confusion? It's listed as a "start" move for Kadabra, but I feel like just having Teleport might get... annoying.

Both Newt and Quez will be accepted and I'm excited and willing to work with both of you. However, as a note, your Pokemon can start at anywhere up to level 5, so you needn't really begin at level 1. That does nothing for Newt's Theo but helps Quez's Nip learn a new legal technique.
Regarding your request, however, Spesh, I can't allow that exactly per se but I can explain why and then tell you how to get around that slightly but there are strings attached. So in order to understand my answer, you need to first have a full and clear understanding of the Alterity-style leveling system. This excerpt by Mewitti explains:
So this is why my answer is a double-edged sword. You can, in fact, have Theo already know Confusion because it is a learn his species is in fact capable of learning and it is always possible to "learn" moves early but...you cannot use it in an official league battle. In fact, you really aren't allowed to use it in ordinary trainer battles/wild encounters (league regulated as well) but that only actually counts if the opposing trainer recognizes your moveset as illegal for level and declares proof be shown or if their Pokemon/a wild Pokemon is hurt or killed or if property becomes damaged. If you were battling under proper league regulations and protocols (in this case, abiding by proper moveset restrictions) then you will suffer no legal repercussions but otherwise you could potentially incur fines, jail time, or get your Pokemon put down if deemed dangerous or a public hazard. In this manner, Theo can know the attack and if he uses it minorly, that happens, but if you get caught or anything, you might be setting yourself up for problems. Of course, you'll notice that other trainers have illegal moves their Pokemon could not have learned yet and even an Egg Move which unpedigreed Sigilyph can NEVER legally utilize. So, I'm sorry but if you opt not to use this option, your best hope it to find a TM or else use other illegal tactics like biting, kicking, scratching, etc. Or since I allowed you to pick your Pokemon, you could always say that it was a bred Pokemon/pedigree and thus for buying the Pokemon, you are allowed to utilize one legal and pre-registered Egg Move (it has something to do with continuing the flow of money into the economy and I can't exactly explain it great but basically you can do this with your starter if you choose)? Sorry but besides finding a TM later on or using illegal moves, I can't see any other way around this~ Thanks for checking anyway though~~

Also, both Quez and Newt will be starting off in Twinleaf (make up a reason if you need, you can just say cheaper flights or accidental planning of the route/destination or by harbor or whatever but you can't head directly to the Sandgem lab, we're not that far along yet) and please check the third post on the front page for the list of items you can (and should) purchase before heading out. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask~

Hmm i'm okay with Nip being level 1 as Quez would have never battled with it, and it was a runt of a litter so it wouldn't have any experience either.
