Similar to Serebii's famous Pokemon of the week, We can choose a pokemon and write out opinions about it. *When a pokemon is chosen, each person writes their opinion about the pokemon and a prefered moveset. *At the end of your post, post your suggestion (one pokemon) that you would like to have as the next pokemon of the week. Pokemon of the week #1 Jolteon #2 Cloyster

I used to love Jolteon back in generation one however it has become quite the lame Pokemon since then. Still fast as heck I think it needs access to a fighting move or too like Close Combat and it would be set if you EV trained it in attack.
Next Week: Hoping for Cloyster

I like this game, it looks promising. Okay, I like Jolteon but I can't say it's my favorite Pokemon or even my favorite Eeveelution but still an overall cool Pokemon that any wannabe trainer would be lucky to have, obviously. And I learned from Bulbapedia that "In addition to the ability to become sharp like needles, Jolteon's fur also amplifies the electrical charges produced by its cells. It can also store and generate negative ions in its fur, which create a sparking noise." That's a pretty badass combination of abilities, I must say. Next Week: Minccino!!!

double kick synchronoise volt switch shadow ball
not my favorite eeveeloution, but not my least favorite. It's a great baton passer and its dex entry makes it interesting for rps
Next choice candidate: Dewott!

Not a huge fan of eeveelutions, but Jolteon has proved to be quite annoying whenever I battle them. Having only one weakness and being very fast makes most electric types pretty useful. The downside is that it doesn't have a very wide movepool so it can't cover a lot of pokemon that resist it.
Next week: Probopass

Jolteon has killer speed. I never quite got the hype until Chugga used one for his XD run. Voltaire was great, and it changed my opinion on Jolteons, really. Its strong Speed stat is hindered by its fragility- too easily 1HKOed and kind of eh without certain buffs to amp its Electric-type power.
Next week: Poliwag

Well, in the past, i used shell smash skill link cloyster all of the time. I guess i write down the usual set i play with? - Icicle Spear - Rock Blast - Razor Shell/Ice Shard - Shell Smash Ability: Skill Link Item: Focus Sash/White Herb EV's: 252 Atk / 252 Spd Nature: Adamant Focus sash and white herb are switched out depending on the team I'm using, i have found the most sucess in using the white herb, since priority won't kill you (except if you are going against sp.atk priority, but who the hell uses vaccum wave?). The Ev's are pretty straightforward, deal a lot of damage, and be fast. The remaining four EVs can be placed wherever you need them the most. Jolly doesn't make a big difference, because after a shell smash, you pretty much outspeed everything that isn't scarfed with adamaent nature anyways. I have never tried him out as a spinner, but I've heard that he does that job fairly well, since he has nice bulk, and he has both toxic spikes and spikes. (Oh and hi mdf! Long time no see )

I have a large hate for Cloysters, because of the one one of my good friends used competitively. Let me tell you that Cloyster with Skill link and King's Rock is NOT A FUN TIME AT ALL. 50% chance to flinch? No thanks. Partner this with STAB and the possible Shell Smash, and it's a monster.
Next Week: Golurk pls

Hey where's the new pokemon of the week? But anyways, cloyster is not being used often at all in the higher tiers anymore. Many pokemon outshine him these days.
