I'm tossing around a few ideas in my head, bouncing them around as I go. What I have so far: - oh hi Gridlock long time no see- tl;dr experimental facility with humans infused with 1-3 animals'/Pokémon DNA
- mesa survival idea involving humans with 1 Pokémon DNA
- an old idea I suddenly had- a Battle Royale where the participants have to pick an animal to be fused with and duke it out
- Avatar-like RP where the humans have a mental link with a Pokémon vessel to study or observe Legendaries in their natural habitat?
Post-apolcalypse RP with human-Pokémon hybrids as the only survivors due to their Pokémon DNA? This sound a bit too close to the idea Eric posed regarding gjinkas, in retrospect!
I unno guys. I didn't want to post this in the General RP Thread, since all these have quite a lot of hefty content kicking around in my head, and I'd rather have some input on a separate thread for easy conversion into an OOC down the road o/

I'm not feeling any one idea in particular, but I am always up for a good hybrid RP. A few thoughts:
- I'm not sure what you mean by mesa survival? - Also for BR, wouldn't some animals have the clear advantage depending on the terrain and the other animals?

A few thoughts: - I'm not sure what you mean by mesa survival? - Also for BR, wouldn't some animals have the clear advantage depending on the terrain and the other animals? This depends on the Royale area, really! Of course, I don't think apex predators like lions and sharks would be available (because that's way too obvious an advantage, but probably smaller shark species like goblin and sawsharks might pass. Orcas is a direct no-no). This idea has been kicking around for years in my head and I did make one a few years ago, but we never actually got to the part where we started killing each other, so that's definitely to the drawing boards once more. As for mesa survival, it was basically the idea I proposed in the General RP thread before. By right, the hybrids live in houses on the elevated 'floating islands' with their seemingly-endless supply of fruit (that reinforces their memory loss, without their knowledge) and are observed by scientists in said habitat for signs of rejection of the secondary DNA. When they start escaping these floating islands down to the ground level, there are more normal fruits and a faux river, basically a Hunger Games-esque jungle with random events happening left and right as well as the lingering threat of being recaptured and sent back to the mesa.

I'm just...imagining people running around with shark heads now. lmao OH YEAH REAL ADVANTAGE HERE So...not a literal mesa then? :'(

I THOUGHT YOU WERE TALKING ABOUT AN ACTUAL PLATEAU OKAY Hmmm ok lemme think of this more critically please forgive because I failed compulsory Geography for 2 years straight It's not really floating, it just looks like it's floating due to fog surrounding the 89-degree drop down below (hence parenthesis) but hm hm hm plateaus sound incredible \o/ The premise is NOT set in stone, I'm just bouncing it around as I wander through my thoughts :c

It kind of fits the definition....

Ohhh, okay. Since you said something about an eighty-nine-degree drop, I was picturing something like this:
