What it says on the tin. Look at me I'm K-drama trash~ Yes, but I'm here with serious intent. I usually watch the psychological thrillers and there's 2 I've watched- Liar Game and Punch. Punch recently ended (and made me cry, stupid drama) but yes, those are fun. I also really liked slice-of-life dramas like Misaeng and the in-progress Hogu's Love. I caught some mainstream ones too, like Healer and Hyde, Jerkyll, Me/Kill Me, Heal Me down the road too. What about everyone, and which show did you start with? My first K-drama was Hero Chunhyang, which was in 2005. However- I only actually became a full fledged fan watching Cain and Abel in 2009~

I started with Boys Over Flowers and progressed to other genres from there. Well, not really other genres. I still stick to romance and romantic comedies if possible, but I've started adding psychological and medical dramas to the mix. I'm currently watching Liar Game, Kill Me/Heal Me, The Heirs (but I might quit on that one), and Persevere, Goo Hae Ra. Yes. I'm watching all of them with the no time that I have.

fishstyx I dropped Heirs like a hot potato >< Considering I usually have tolerance for these (hi, Goong and BoF phase) it was shocking I dropped Heirs so quickly.

Me too. I even tried to go back and watch it, but it was literally just your stereotypical romance, school life drama. Nothing was original.

I might pick up Cain and Abel again...one of my earliest OCs who's still kicking around was adapted from the premise's villain. However! Fair warning, it's a medical drama that has a bucket of overused troupes and stuff. If you're looking to watch nice medical dramas, I recommend Good Doctor (with a autistic savant protag!!!) and Emergency Couple \o/

I started watching Emergency Couple a while ago and wondered if I should go back to it. I guess I might then.

I accidentally stumbled upon I Miss You again...ok but tbh Harry/Hyunjun in general is literally a shrunk-down spoiler version of one of the characters in it. I loved the actors' turn in them, but the plot was really unbearable to watch sob

Never tried that one. It sounds too mushy. Although that's what I thought about It's Okay, That's Love, and that turned out to be simply fantastic.

Never tried that one. It sounds too mushy. Although that's what I thought about It's Okay, That's Love, and that turned out to be simply fantastic. I am incredibly biased to It's Ok That's Love due to their inclusion of mental illness, as well as their objective take towards PTSD in the male protag and how he heals in the process. I actually made this huge rant about it and it gained so much traction on Tumblr sob EDIT: I Miss You is incredibly melo. Bad plot but really good actors ;;

I can't stand bad plot. But yeah IOTL addressed a lot of serious problems (although the main woman's seemed like a huge overreaction, even though it was plausible) and showed it all in a good light. I loved how they had them heal together and I adored the male lead. His style and his smirk and just everything were totally sexy and wow I liked him a lot. Plus, he was so darn adorable.

fishstyx I also really liked how the second male lead held it together too. Being a guy with Tourette's, the actor didn't over exaggerate the attacks and even managed to portray realistically the helplessness that came from being unable to control his facial tics.

I've always had a soft spot for him and the other Running Man members because they're so great ;w; (waddles off to check Hogu's Love and dfghjkl I spy a bisexual character on the horizon- PROGRESS! I SEE PROGRESS!)
