Is this a little bit better, Wyndi dear? I can go larger but tried it and it was....disorientingly large. Like those old people books with gigantic font for stubborn elderly people who refuse to get glasses.

I think current font is fine, at least there isn't much strain to just look at it and all

Like those old people books with gigantic font for stubborn elderly people who refuse to get glasses. If you mean the change in the username and user title font size, yeah, that's great! Very helpful, thanks. *u* Would it be possible to change font and status text size to one of those sizes, do you think? Or would that affect layout or be a huge jump in size again?
my eyes are so bad i'm so sorry

You mean the regular forum font? For whatever reason, your font is much smaller than anyone else's. I thought it was just you styling it that on purpose but if not it might be a problem with your settings? If you meant anything else, please clarify so I can try to address the problem and understand it properly~

Yeah, it's the regular forum font. The font on my screen is miniscule - so tiny that the size 1 font (which my posts are in) is actually bigger than the default. And no matter how much I zoom in, my font is always bigger than anyone else's.
Screencap here.
I apologize if my posts have been hard to read for anyone else. I thought I was making things easier on myself and everyone else by actually having a larger styled font, but I guess it's the opposite....
EDIT btw this is the size 2 (10 pt) font. Is it still ridiculously small?

I see what you were experiencing now and apologize. It has now been fixed, hopefully, with the newest update of font sizing. I skipped up only one font size but it has been quite a drastic change so I must say I hope it's all we'll need to go up, this is manageable but any larger might be distracting. Tell me if this is not enough though. If anyone besides Wyndi was experiencing this issue as well, I also apologize to you. For comparison and reference after viewing Wyndi's image, I made a screenshot of my own and noted how much smaller the other font looked in comparison to the regular size: {Spoiler}

ohhh my god, this is much better. Thank you so much! I'm kind of curious now as to why our font size ratios were flipped (no wonder you were asking why I needed the font to be any bigger...), but I guess that's another mystery for the history books.

Yeah, at first I just figured you liked your font looking smaller (I did that when I posted in Heresy to make it more compact as I posted massive walls of texts most every time) but when you started asking for bigger, it now makes way more sense and yet even less sense at the same time. Because I now understand how it looked for you and how it looked for me but we still have no idea why it happened. I tried to locate resources on text font personalization but I can't find anything about it around the help guides. I guess I should ask: was the font like that for you even before the theme switch? Because even then I know you were using a different (smaller for me, bigger for you) font than everyone else? It might have something to do with a theme conversion otherwise?

Well this is certainly different! Neat new layout, though it might be nice to have a little LESS contrast with the blue forum area and white background? It's a little stark looking imo, but definitely nice to see a revamp and a slight resurgence of activity here!

mdf2711 No, the font I was using prior to the switch was definitely smaller than everyone else's. I was using font size 1, whereas the default appeared to be font size 2 (so one step up in size). I'm not sure how exactly font size 1 suddenly became the bigger size (for me) with the theme conversion, because I would've expected the font size ratios to behave like they did for you (i.e. size 1 being smaller than the default). Coding is truly a mysterious thing.

Can we try a steel-blue or something besides white for the background? I like it but when I sit in the dark it can be quite painful to stare at lol

I have thus far not looked for this option but it is a pattern if you look closely and I've found these functions and changed them all rather easily before, as with the member profiles at the side, so I think that can be easily arranged. But first I have school, then I can edit it later~

I have since reviewed and finally found the source of the imaging background concerns. I have since edited with a color not entirely obnoxious with the other colors for the theme's scheme. However, this choice was mostly to illustrate the theme. This is a solid background, I can also use the/any color in a variety of banal patterns. However, the dead white space everywhere, my main concern, I have yet to figure out. It would appear that it cannot be edited out. I've tried and failed and if anyone has suggestions, I'm open to trying them but otherwise, we stick with what we had or move to a plain white background, which is even more disorienting than the tiny-striped thing from before, or we try and move in a different direction. Thoughts?

I actually don't mind the white border. I mean, it's not the most attractive thing out there, but it doesn't clash with the color scheme (and we have white text anyway), and it's much less disorienting than having all of the background be white.
Thanks for changing the bg color, by the way!
