Wows, lots happened, huh? Sorry I was gone, had to sleep. Uhmm, Kizzy, I see that you were very vague on what items you bought at the Pokemart but can at the very least update your profile page with the items so I can verify you got the right amount of stuff and such? I don't want to be verifying weeks from now and/or forget so I need to get it done as soon as possible, please and thank you~

Name: Arcelia "Arc" Camacho Age: 17 Sexuality: Homosexual, but largely disinterested in having any relationship at this point.
{Appearance (Spoiler):} Personality: Arc is a mysterious girl. She does what she likes, for the most part, but she's happy to help others out... for the right price. She's greedy and will happily work for money, treasures, or other things that catch her interest. When she's paid to do something, she does it without complaint and to the best of her ability. She's usually indifferent to people, but can grow attached... it's just hard for others to keep her around in the first place. However, that's not to say that she has a bad personality. She is hardly ever in a bad mood and hums to herself when she's in an especially good mood. She likes being vague towards others about important topics, so it's hard to tell if she knows too much or whether she knows nothing at all. Other than being vague, she's never unreasonable to others, despite her indifference.
{Pokemon (Spoiler):} Pei Pei (Yamask)// F // Lvl 5 Mummy // Relaxed Nature
-Astonish, Protect, Disable, Hidden Power (Electric)Pei Pei is Arc's first Pokemon. It's unkown how the two of them met (even Arc won't say), but one thing is for certain: the Pokemon is very attached to Arc (and vice versa). Creepily, the Yamask's mask resembles Arc's face slightly. The Pokemon never speaks unless possessing someone wearing the mask it holds (usually Arc). It can communicate to Arc this way, though it's very troublesome and so only does this as a last resort.
Honey (Ledyba) // F // Lvl 7 Early Bird, Swarm // Docile Nature-Tackle, Supersonic A friendly Ledyba that Arc and Pei Pei met on route 201. Its friendly and cheerful personality captivated Arc, who asked the Ledyba to join her. The Pokemon agreed. Currently speaks a combination of English and PokeSpeak, using both languages in the same sentence. Arc is teaching her more English, so that she can hold a conversation with Honey better. Sprout (Turtwig) // F // Lvl 15 Overgrow // Adamant Nature - Tackle, Withdraw, Absorb, Razor Leaf, Bite
A Turtwig Arc received as a gift from Prof. Rowan. Sprout's a Pokemon that loses her temper often and seems to hold grudges for a while. However, she doesn't hate humans, nor does she hate Arc. She just has trouble getting her feelings and words across because she's totally a tsundere. Calm Salty Waves of the Spring Tide Mantine clan (Salty, for short) (Mantine) // F // Lvl 9Water Absorb // Gentle Nature-Signal Beam, Supersonic, Bubblebeam Salty was a Mantine Arc sort of accidentally fished up on route 219. She seemed very friendly and enjoyed chatting with Arc. She seems to have a large knowledge of English. She's very gentle and kind, which was what prompted Arc to ask for the Pokemon to join her. Arc finds her very cute for some reason. Note: She is smaller than other Mantine. {Items (Spoiler):} - Ultra Ball x1
- Heal Ball x1
- Quick Ball x1
- Net Ball x1
- Old Rod x1
- Poketch x1
- Intriguing Stone x1
- Pokedex x1
- Go-Goggles x1
- Lucky Punch x1
History: Arc doesn't like to speak much about her past. Whenever asked, she'd only mention that she grew up quietly in Veilstone city with her family, and was a pickpocket and thief. It was thanks to Pei Pei that she stopped stealing, and instead started working for money. Eventually, she saved enough money to start her adventure (along with paying for licensing fees) and decided to set off with Pei Pei at her side.
Quote: "What've you got?" Other: I'm sure I've got a piece of music that fits her, but it eludes me for now. I might update another day if I ever find something.

Yep, that application looks great, Jooce! You're accepted. Make sure to start Arc and Pei Pei off in Twinleaf Town (Veilstone is a port city and Twinleaf is very close to a harbor, so you can you can use that as your reason if you like, maybe so she can meet Professor Rowan or something, I dunno...) and collect your items from the shop (the list can be found on the front page) and head off into Route 201, maybe heading toward Lake Verity or Sandgem Town~ Other than that, feel free to ask questions for clarification and always keep your profile updates and I think that's it. Oh and if you could just edit in Pei Pei's learned moves (legal and illegal if any), that would be great. Thanks~

That picture of Nip is so adorable~
Arc seems like a pretty interesting character~ Looking forward to seeing her around.
Hooo, boy... That charmander is certainly stubborn. (The poor thing, being poisoned... Michi will be pretty upset with herself if she and Meyrin wound up accidentally killing him.)

I've edited with moves (striked out moves are illegal). I had to put an illegal move there because otherwise Pei Pei can't damage normal-type Pokemon at all. In addition, I have a question about illegal moves: are they only moves a Pokemon can learn, or can they include other moves (provided it makes sense)? Because in that webcomic, Talon was shown using a kick move on other Pokemon as a Torchic, where it can't learn any (except low kick, but it didn't look like a low kick).

Jooce, feel free to continue at your own pace. Regarding your question, it's a very good one. Though I feel I am likely quoting Alterity's Tumblr far more than anyone else appreciates or enjoys, I'm going to quote a fragment of a post and put it into perspective just to answer your question as fully as possible. Regarding TMs, Witticaster wrote:
"Just because the species is supposedly able to learn a technique doesn’t mean every individual can actually do so, just like not every human can learn advanced physics or bench press 500 lbs. Several of the ‘allowed’ TMs make no sense at all for certain species and are pretty much impossible to learn. On the opposite end, there are a lot of cool things Pokemon can do that they are not actually allowed to use in an official League battle, because the technique doesn’t fall within the limits of an ‘official’ move."
Now, this was was obviously directed at the silly restrictions regarding learnable TMs that every Pokemon of a species is limited to. But in the same light, I do believe that if you used your imagination, it wouldn't be a stretch to presume that Yamask might believably be able to utilize an attack like, let's say, Leer due to its large glowing red eyes but because it is not a legal regulation move, there are penalties that can come with that (I'm going to presume you are familiar with that concept because you haven't questioned it thus far but if you need clarification, just ask or read back in the OOC). And in that same light, drac's OC, Harry, has a Sigilyph that has an Egg Move but an unpedigreed Pokemon of his species can never actually "learn" Future Sight or utilize it as a legitimate battle strategy or technique, lest he be put down or Harry be fined or such. I hope this clarifies my position that if it is reasonable, I'm sure willing to let you try that out, but unlike a situation like Logainne's Rune that merely needs to gain experience/raise his level to legally use some moves he has already mastered early, you will always be at risk when using it illegally and can never gain enough experience or anything to overcome this obstacle~

Also, the event in Sandgem is an event that occurs at the laboratory. You have to first engage in a trade offer with three trainers (you'll see) and then either trade or decline the offer and wait a bit and Professor Rowan will gift you something special afterward~ From there you can travel on as you please~
