Character: Takeshi Tatsugami Age: 18 Appearance: History: Takeshi is from the noble house of Tatsugami in Blackthorn City. Technically a branch of the main family ( which house successful trainers such as Lance and Claire), The family is one of the 12 noble houses of Johto and one of only 3 that still remains in the modern age. They are known for their strong affinity to dragon type pokemon, and their history and former influence on the land and its politics. Today, the clan has no official influence over politics or the Johto region, but due to their history they receive a large amount of support and donations, especially to families loyal to the House of Tatsugami. The family is exceedingly wealthy, and their estate is filled with talented pokemon breeders, move tutors, the finest chefs, caregivers, personal tutors, and strong pokemon raised by the family. Despite being so well off, most of the family shares the same sentiment as the heads of the Tatsugami Clan in wanting to be the main branch. This has led them to pool decades of resources into raising the strongest trainers to represent the family and gather accolades and influence. Your standing in the family is based on your affinity to dragon types and how closes your birth is to the main bloodline. The extensively raised starting pokemon you are given is based on your affinity evaluated at a young age. Affinity to dragon types is already a very rare trait that is thought to run in the family, but high affinity is the same as being considered a prodigy. Those with a high affinity (a rarity) are given pure dragon types as their first pokemon. Those with above average to great affinity to dragon types are given pokemon that are half dragon types or evolve into pokemon with partial typing. And those with less than average affinity are given pokemon that are not dragon types, and will not evolve into one, but do at least have dragon DNA and can thus be barely counted among dragon kin. These people have among the lowest standing among the family, just above those with no dragon affinity that marry into the family. The Tatsugami household holds a voluntary test at the age of 10 for every child to greater assess their abilities and give a chance for better standing in the family. You are expected to stay sealed in the Dragon's Den with only the help of your starting partner until you can either 1) return with something worthy of being considered a treasure (Some come back with dragon fangs or Dragon Scales, typically well protected deep inside the cave ) or 2) locate and defeat one of the evolved dragon types living inside (second evolution and above). Those who are unable to finish may also give up, but with great shame brought upon them and their families, which deters many applicants. Takeshi is the second child of three of the heads of the branch family, Ryujin and Aimi Tatsugami. Both hold exceedingly high expectations of their children and were especially cruel to their son. This is due to his incredibly low affinity for dragon type pokemon, especially for the child of the head of the family. At birth, like all children from the Tatsugami household, he had his dragon affinity tested. At no higher than that of the average person, his parents were appalled that a child of direct connection to them could have such a low affinity. Because of this, they decided not to give him the name Ryuunosuke as originally planned, and instead attempted to distance themselves from him, givign him the name "Takeshi", a name frequent in commoners. He was raised being told that he was worthless, trash, and a complete disappointment by both parents. He was kept away from most of the family to hide his shameful identity. He was even given a mere feebas (a disgraceful partner, according to the family) and forced to take the Dragon's Den test. Despite his Feebas being bred with many powerful attacks, neither Takeshi, nor his Feebas had the confidence to take on the challenge. His low affinity with dragons only made the ordeal tougher, as the pokemon within relentlessly attacked him on sight as a trespasser, as opposed to other applicants. With his parents not letting him give up and leave without passing, Takeshi spent an entire month in the cold, dark cave, only staying alive thanks to his feebas gathering edible seaweed from the bottom of the cave's lake, and fending off attacking pokemon. His parents let him out after the end of the month, to a thin and defeated son with no proof of passing. Takeshi spent the next 7 years hidden away from the world. His parents refused to let the Tatsugami name be tarnished by his existence. He spent that time learning from the workers on the estate, specifically the move tutors. He thought that perhaps he could teach his pokemon better moves, dragon moves, and gain his parent's approval with his higher combat power, but to no avail. Being kept away from the dragon pokemon in the estate, Ryuta spent most of his time with the stray alolan meowth that hung around to feel like royalty, and a murkrow that would frequently stop by to steal shiny things. By feeding them and being about the only person on the estate who treated them kindly, he managed to form a bond with them, and snuck out with the 3 pokemon: Feebas, Meowth, and Murkrow. Ryuta planned on running away. He had been denied so much in life by being kept out of site on that property and wanted to explore. But even moreso, prove his his parents that their assessment of him was wrong, that his dragon affinity wasnt what defined him. That he was more than his family name. Learning of their son’s escape and fearing the backlash this may have on the family name, they sent people to retrieve Takeshi, including his two siblings. . Pokemon team Trivia: Matching his family background, his original first name (Ryuunosuke) has both "dragon" and "noble" as a meaning as well as a "herald" in it. His surname, Tatsugami", means "Dragon God/King". His altered first name, Takeshi, is considered a normal and common Japanese name. *He goes by Takeshi, a combination of his first and last name, to avoid detection from his family. Although the name is still out of the ordinary for the area, which he is only ignorant of because of his isolation within his family's estate.

Ghost type trainer: Young teen boy. short. large afro. (Inspiration: Opacho from Shaman King) Often mistaken for a child. He spends most of his time sleeping. His ghost type pokemon can enter his dreams and bond with him. His ability, granted to him by a chance encounter with Giratina in the Distortion World, allows him to offer up an astral-projection of himself that only ghost type pokemon (among a few exceptions) can see. Because of this, he can fight in pokemon battles while still being asleep. Because he is often sleeping, he rarely gets exercise and his body has become weak. He can be seen riding on his pokemon to get around. Ability: Astro-Projection- Can leave his physical body and move around in another plane. Can communicate with ghost the pokemon there. Ability 2: Distortion World Diving- Can peek into or enter the distortion world via any reflective surface (water, mirrors, etc). ________________________ Water Type Trainers: Twins Girl- Outgoing, ostentatious, honest (Inspired by Aura Bello Fiore from Overlord) Often mistaken for a boy, she is the water type using trainer from Sinnoh. She uses water types who specialize in physical attacks. She often lacks the ability to tell when it is appropriate to stay quiet or not. Despite this, she males friends very easily. When she was younger, her brother fell off of the boat that their family was using. Though he was saved, having almost drowned, she feels bad about not being able to help, and feels the need to protect him. Her battling style is all-out attack, where she simply overwhelms her opponent with attack power. She has a deep hidden envy for her brother's ability. Special Ability- None Pokemon Team: Male Twin Water type user. Preferres special attacking water types. Shy, introverted, nervous, timid Inspired by Mare Bello Fiore from Overlord Often mistaken for a girl, this twin was is very timid and shy. He almost drowned as a young child, being saved by a manaphy. he gained the ability to hear the surface thoughts of others. However he has no control over it, and simply hears the honest opinions of those around him. This often leads to a poor self image, as he can hear even the opinions of those who try to keep their negative or inappropriate thoughts to themselves. Because of this, he rarely makes friends and tends to stay away from people. This ability, however, makes counter-strategies easy for him, as he can learn his opponent's plans before they even communicate them to their pokemon. It takes alot to catch him off guard in battle. Ability: Surface-thought reading- Can hear and understand the immediate thoughts coming from people. While he can also hear them in pokemon, they are not understood, as it is in pokemon language. Pokemon Team: Pokemon trainer: Simple clothing. Quiet. analyzing. restrained. This trainer is from one of the 3 remaining noble families left in Johto, specializing in Psychic type pokemon and divination. She has a Gothorita and female Meowstic as partners. She uses her Gothorita to foresee if the path she is taking is the right one or if the battle she wishes to participate in will result in victory. If the outcome isnt favorable, she simply doesnt make the attempt. Her divination are 80% accurate. Due to her reliance on divination, she is inexperienced, and does poorly in unforeseen situations. However her battling skills when she is sure she will win are outstanding. Special Ability: Pokemon Team: Pokemon trainer: Big sister to Takeshi. She was raised by her parents to respect their dragon-oriented social ladder. She has above-average affinity to dragon types. She has respect for two things: strong trainers and beauty. She looks down on Takeshi, who has such limited potential as a dragon type trainer. Although she is firmly on her family’s side when it comes to social status, she does recognize beauty in other pokemon types, and uses non-dragon types on her team, much to her parent’s dismay. It is because of this, as well as being only above average in affinity, that her parents treat her as lesser than her youngest brother. Team: Altaria, Tsareena, Froslass Trainer: Ryu Tatsumaki A prodigy in the Tatsumaki household, Ryu is the youngest sibling of the three. Even as an infant, Ryu’s dragon affinity allowed him to make friends with or tame any dragon type that he came in contact with. Even those with dragon dna would submit to him. He was raised in the utmost luxury and is naive of the world and how his social standing in the family affects others. Now 10 years old, he looks up to his brother and thinks of his decision to leave and have an adventure is truly admirable. His naivete is often exploited by his family. Ryu was given a goomy to look after him after but a month after birth. Despite its trainer being but a toddler, Goomy became unbeatable, even before its trainer could talk. Ryu’s goomy isnt the most powerful dragon pokemon in the family, but its explosive growth is enough to keep the rest of the family from causing trouble for it and Ryu, making enemies out of what could be a serious threat. Experts in the family state that his Goomy was ready for evolution years ago, certainly capable of becoming a goodra before Ryu turned 5. The only reason it stays in its smaller form is due to Ryu finding goomy to be cute. Pokemon team: Goomy, Drampa

12 Noble Houses of Johto
Johto's history is very rich, with a more Japanese style background. Servicing the royalty and its people were the 12 Noble Houses.
Each noble house was a family of nobles and their followers. Each House had a duty to the royal line and the people of Johto, being trusted with the task in exchange for wealth and respect. Most houses had a pokemon type or archetype that they claimed epitomized their house, and each main family member in that house (as well as most followers) almost exclusively kept pokemon of that type due to affinities. After the royal line was disbanded and the monarchy changed to democracy, all but 3 noble houses gave up power and disbanded. The people's take on those that refused to disband were split. Some saw them as selfish and greedy, refusing to give up their wealth and power. Others saw them as preserving Johto's rich history and culture as icons.
The 12 Noble Houses are as follows:
The Tatsugami House Pokemon Type: Dragon Duty: Military power (Special Unit)
The Tatsugami Household is one of the three houses that refused to disband after the region's move to democracy. Their household members are proud and often overconfident, but understandably so, as their influence and wealth allows them access to the best bred pokemon and some of the greatest methods in raising them. Their family is roughly medium sized with hundreds of followers. This household holds a main family and a branch family. The main family contains many famous pokemon trainers such as Lance and Clair. This house held some of the strongest individual pokemon trainers in the region.
The Tsukimiya House Pokemon Type: Psychic Duty: Fortune-telling The Tsukimiya (Moon shrine) family is one of the three families that refused to disband after the rise of democracy. They were given the responsibility of fortune telling. Each line produces only women. And each girl born into this family has a specialized power to see into the future. In these modern times this is seen as a scam, but was taken very seriously in the past. Each member specializes in a specific method of seeing into the past or future. Some predicted the weather for the stabilization of crops, some gave advice for the future, some offered looks into past lives, and others would use various methods to simply see into the future or predict disasters. This family specializes in psychic type pokemon. While their strength was not as mighty as the other houses, they used their unique form of intelligence gathering to gain the upperhand against those who wish to do them harm.
The Iwashimizu Household Pokemon Type: Fairy Duty: Entertainment/ Unlock Potential
The first of the nine houses to give up power in the rise of democracy. This household specialized in bringing out the potential of people and pokemon as well as entertainment. Male members are known for being handsome and charismatic, while the female members are known for being busty and intuitive. They excel at creating performances with people and pokemon. when it comes to unlocking potential, they are able to find the best ways for people or pokemon to make the best of their abilities or even bring out abilities that they didn't know they had. The royal line as well as many main members of various noble houses would make sure to schedule visits with them to bring out the best in their families. This family was started after a foreigner impressed the royal family and was given high social status. They are the only family that is not clearly native to Johto. This house has the fewest number of living members remaining. It should be noted that Iwashimizu is an honorary name given to the immigrants who impressed royalty and became a noble house. Their original names before being welcome into the Noble Clans was Lops. (Iwashimizu means water trickling down from rocks).
The ____ Household Pokemon type: Bug Duty: Reconnaissance/Spying
The _____ Household is one of the more enigmatic houses. Each member of the family has but one bug type pokemon as partners, and excels in skill relating to that pokemon's abilities. Members are taught valuable skills from birth such as information gathering, stealth, and even assassinations. This family prides itself on its stealth and ability to finish their assigned task quickly. Because of their high success rate, their services can be very expensive. After the dispersion of the clans, the ____ household still continues its training of the young, but allows for other pokemon partners. That being said, the descendants all have a clear affinity and connection to their first bug- type partner.
The ____ Household Pokemon type: Ground/Rock Duty:
The ____ Household is one of the lower ranking Noble Families. This family is split into two under the same name. The side that specializes in ground is known for mining while the side that specializes in rock dedicates itself to crafting. items from the mined ore. They were known for successfully mining the most precious minerals in the kingdom. However because the family saw worth in and honor based on quality of work done, they are seen as closer to commoners. A member of this household being dirty and covered in sweat is considered admirable to their own family, but not to many of the others. The ____ Household gave up their noble status after democracy came to the region, however the family is still known for their work, and provide services to the region as a successful mining and rare stone company instead. This is the only company to rival the Devon Corporation in Hoenn.
The ____ Household Pokemon type: Grass Duty: Agriculture
A family that teeters from one of the most respected to one of the most neglected. The _____ Household specializes in growing food and raising pokemon products for consumption. They are rumored to be able to make anything grow, and to produce bountiful harvests. To receive the peak of the crops were considered an enormous honor by the 12 Noble Families, and many of the top ones would compete for their favor. The ____ Household is often assumed to be peaceful and even weak as a whole due to their seemingly lighthearted duties. However the family were known for having hidden plant based traps around their land to stop those that would try to steal their harvest. The family was also incredibly resourceful, able to use harmful powders and thorns from their pokemon to subdue enemies. Many of this family opened flower shops around Johto after the region welcomed democracy. They tend to keep in touch.

To erase later (no that anyone will bother to look here) Profile Template/Example: Name: Age: Appearance: (described or illustrated) Personality: History: (inspiration/goal for being a trainer) Party: include names, balls caught in, gender, nature, ability, summary, held items, and battles participated in (won or lost) Items: Please keep organised and keep track of used or traded items Journal: Keep track of your travels, and especially your battle log.
Name: Syrus (Sai) Meyer Age: 15
Appearance: Syrus is 5'5" and relatively skinny. He has short brown hair that barely covers his ears the back has a small pink streak in it. He has a birthmark mole on his left eye. Syrus often wears slightly baggy clothing including a light blue shirt that he frequently wears. He carries around a backpack with a surprising amount of space for its size and a belt to hold pokeballs that pulls more to the back instead of the side. He has a small pink diamond hanging from his belt loop that he puts around his neck during battle. He doesn't know if it is real or not, but he is infatuated by it. When he wants to be alone, he wears a black skull hoodie that he inherited from...someone, and closes it around his face.
Personality:Syrus is a calm and collected new trainer who spent a lot of his young life around pokemon. He likes to see the good in people and pokemon and always gives poeple a chance. His calm and collected attitude is helpful when he is in mock battles at the training school, but he tends to hold back due. He is trusting and kind, though often forgetful, which occasionally gives the wrong impression. He likes to cheer others up and will go out of his way to do it. Syrus has a thing for beauty and uses that as well as pastries to lift the spirits of others. Unfortunately, he second guesses himself and has a bit of a self esteem problem, especially when something has already gone wrong. This can lead to a fake smile that he hates to put on. It can however be reflected in what he cooks. He has trouble opening up to people compared to pokemon. He is a big sucker for cute stuff.
History: Syrus is the son of a a pokepuff/poffin pastry chef in Laverne city. He spent a lot of his life producing pokemon treats among other treats and used this knowledge to learn about the personalities of pokemon. With his analysis, he can understand just what kinds of flavors nearby pokemon crave. Because his father needed him to help run the business, Syrus had to start his journey late. There was also some discouragement from his mother that led him to think that he was not good enough to become a trainer. With encouragement from his father, Syrus left home for his journey. His training at the local trainer school showed his skillful battling, but also his tendency to overthink situations and have delayed reactions. He also tends to focus too much on making moves look pretty instead of winning. Syrus likes to make others happy and uses Battling along with offering desserts as his way of spreading joy. He has shown interest in making friends but has been having trouble.
Party:
_____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Rules Evolution: You may actually evolve your pokemon without speaking to a mod if:
1. You possess the appropriate stone 2. You trade it with a fellow player or mod controlled npc (with applicable item) 3. You meet the minimum friendship requirement in units of battles 4. Your pokemon just needs to evolve at a specific location You should speak to a mod if
1. Your pokemon evolves purely on levels 2. Your pokemon evolves from learning a move and leveling I will just check individual number of battles of each pokemon, and how much they participated to determine average level. Additionally, pokemon that you have just met will not be able to evolve immediately, even if they were caught at the right level. Think of it as a need to connect first. *Pokemon that require certain trade items for evolution may be substituted for max friendship instead of the trade itself. The only exception is Kerrablast/Shelmet. *Friendship evolution: A pokemon that requires friendship to evolve can evolve after 15 battles or 10 with a soothe bell (cut a third of remaining battles off while holding soothe bell), provided that they met their other normal requirements (items, time of day, ect) . Berries can also shorten the time by one battle if they raise friendship. *New Move: To speed things up, new moves can be learned every 5 battles that pokemon participates in, provided that your pokemon achieved the minimum level requirement. If your pokemon learns multiple attacks at the same level, they can just learn them all at once. No permission from mods is needed. However mods will be checking post counts. TMs: TMs take but one post to learn, though how long it takes to master is up to you. Move Tutors: Move tutors are like daycares ran by a single person. Travelling move tutors will take your pokemon into their care and teach them a move. The specific move determines the length of time (1-5 posts) and will be given after the choice in move has been made. After which, you may pick your pokemon up with a newly learned move. (Think of this like a mini training camp). Battles: Battles can be done through role playing. * Flying type pokemon do not have an immunity to ground type attacks that use the same method of attacking as normal moves (pretty much only protecting from moves such as dig, earthquake, and magnitude) . The only exception is outside of Pokemon Showdown, where this cannot be helped. *Psychic type moves are overpowered in rps due to many of them breaking the "rpng as the opponent" rule. Because of that, no member may use a psychic type move to physically move an opponent in a battle in which you do not have full control. Please use the psychic power to move objects instead to through or defend with. *Ocular attacks such as leer and glare do not affect pokemon with no eyes or those that are mentioned to be blind in the pokedex (like zubat, dieno, and nincada) Wild Pokemon: when given a wild pokemon to battle, you are free to rp the entire battle, including controlling the opposing pokemon. Against NPCs: NPCs can be controlled by the mod or battled through Pokemon Showdown. Against other players: You are free to choose either battling through Pokemon Showdown, linking and describing the battle via rp, or simply have a normal rp battle. This should be a mutual agreement. We understand that you have busy lives, but if you are rping (and thus require activity for both plaers to progress, you have 3 days to respond. If you do not, the battle is counted as your loss. This is to keep progress going. Keeping Track of battles: Please keep a journal in your profile and track all of your battles. Who battled, who they were up against, the outcome, etc. This is important for learning new moves and evolution. Eligibility: For a pokemon to have counted in a battle, they have to actually battle. immediate switch ins do not count. Showdown battles do count as battles towards evolution and new moves. Just dont abuse it please. Gym Battles:*There are more than 8 gyms (like in the anime's Kanto region) However, you only need 8 badges to qualify for the pokemon league. *Challengers must battle a predetermined set of 1-6 randomly selected pokemon from the posted team. *Each gym will have a set level increase for their team. Example: "All Pokemon are at 2 levels above your highest leveled pokemon "*Gym Pokemon can have any corresponding type TM or move tutor move at their disposal for the battle. *Battles must be completed in Pokemon Showdown and then RPd by the challenger. A copy of the battle must be saved and linked in the post. *Gym Battles count as 2 battles towards evolution and new moves each! * You may challenge a gym as often as you would like until you win. Eggs: Can be obtained through events or as gifts. * Eggs have a 1% chance of being twins. Just like with chicken eggs that can sometimes have two yolks, a single egg may hatch into two pokemon. * Eggs have a 50% chance of coming with at least one egg move. *Until an egg hatches, it is treated as an item and a pokemon. It can be traded away for other items and still takes up space in your party. Travelling: Each route takes a certain amount of posts or events to get through. This is the main method of progression. This assists in players progressing without the approval of the mod. The number of posts or events needed will be posted by the mod periodically. Ride Pokemon: Please ask a mod if your pokemon is ride-able. Ride-able pokemon can cut time off of the posts you need to reach a new location. Catching pokemon: Wild pokemon can have a maximum of 3 catch attempts unless otherwise noted. Natures: Players may choose the nature of caught pokemon upon capture. who can decide on the nature of Gifted or event pokemon is up to the mod. The nature of pokemon are subject to change upon evolution. (like the anime) A timid caterpie may evolve into an adamant metapod. Friendship Catches: Friendship catches are calculated by multiplying the base catch rate by 1.5. *Friendship catches (catching a pokemon without the need of a battle) can only be tried once per encounter. *this catch counts as your 1st catch for the pokemon Abilities: As long as they don't contradict each other, a pokemon may have both its primary and secondary ability or its DW ability (your choice unless otherwise noted) *The pickup ability will give a 10% chance of acquiring a random item directly after the pokemon with this ability participates in a battle.

Isekai story idea
Tall and intimidating men with a gentle soul is sent to another world after being killed by a woman who mistook him as an attacker. Because of his pitiful death and the fact that his life was considered entertaining, he was chosen to be reborn in another world. He was given one choice of an ability or special gift. Freshly killed and with the circumstances still in his mind, he asks to be reborn as someone who was not intimidating. Although not initially revealed, this comes in the form of super slowed aging and a very adorable appearance as a small boy.
During his original life, he had shot past 6 feet tall at the age of 12. People would often mistake him as an adult and treat him as such. Parents didnt want their children to hang around him and he was often questioned while in children's spaces. He loved to read and cook, looking forward to learning or making a delicious meal at the end of the day more than anything else. He lead his life being lonely. people rarely spoke to him and only relied on him for his strength. People were often suspicious of him. He frequently had the police called on him for simple misunderstandings as an adult. Strangers would see him opening the door to his apartment and assume he was breaking in. When helping a lost child, he was assumed to be a kidnapper. When complimenting someone, he was often seen as threatening. It was for this reason that he was killed. While walking home at night, he happened to see a woman a few meters in front of him drop her wallet. He called out to her, but she only sped up. He picked up the wallet and began walking to catch up to her. She walked faster. Finally, as he was about to tap her shoulder (as calling out to her didnt work and he wondered if she had hearing impairment), she spun around and stabbed him in the stomach before running away and calling for help. He instantly understood what happened and cursed his appearance as he drifted into death.
he wakes up in the new world as an toddler, falling to the ground. A dead man, appearing to have cared for the child, is lying a few feet away. His body bruised badly and his body is still warm. It was almost if he had been carrying the boy until dropping dead and letting the boy fall. The boy's body was weak, as he was young, and he had a bit of trouble breathing. Deep in the forest, civilization is nowhere to be seen. Though he was just in a toddler body, he used the coordination that he had learned in his previous life to make a shallow grave for the man. He could have been a kidnapper, but he wanted to give him teh benefit of the doubt, especially after how he died. After painstakingly digging the grave with his underdeveloped limbs, the boy looked around for civilization. He had to rest frequently, but used his knowledge of surviving in the woods (read from books in his spare time) to survive. After days of searching for a town or other people, and not knowing enough about the world to even know if there were other people at all or how large the forest, he made a shelter in a far away cliffside next to a stream. He didnt yet understand the day system in that world. How many hours were in na day? he had no idea. Night rarely came, as if daylight lasted for days itself and then night would take its turn. Despite that, he built up his endurance and made his life there.
Over time, he noticed that he could condense soil if he thought about it and tried (which he originally did while complaining about ow hard his daily life was. He practiced and practiced what he saw as magic in this world, able to condense soil into an incredibly hard ball or brick. After using that to build a new shelter, he worked on harder material. after a while, he could move stones themselves, condensing them or moving them like blankets over a bed. He then tried the same with water. He wanted a way to clean himself without getting into the stream, as there were a few dangerous animals that frequented to the stream. through the same focus, he learned to manipulate water. To move it in small amounts at first, but then in larger and larger amounts. The world was so fascinating to him. he tried this line of thinking with other materials to test his limitations, learning that not everything could be manipulated so easily.
After what seemed like years of hunting by himself, defending himself against strange animals, and practicing his magic, the boy had firmly adapted to his environment and had become more than self sufficient. He would tap the water's surface to make water prison traps for fish (in which he lifts any small moving object or living thing that passes by the trap as well as the water around it to keep it alive, and can come back to check it later. He carved out a cave in the side of the cliff, behind the waterfall (not because he needed to hide from anyone in particular, but because he always thought those were cool). His magic based stone carving skills became very precise to the point of making detailed furniture, and his ability defend himself increased as well. While he would use precise attacks to hunt animals, he had developed special attacks from his average skills learned from everyday life to attack. The same magic used to bring water from the surface could be used to pierce the flesh of attackers. stone carving could be done in rapid succession into spikes that could be remotely controlled. He could instantly hide underground and create a small space to wait, or hop into the water to hide while manipulating the water to allow an air bubble around himself. He honestly wished he could show someone from previous world, as even he was amused with what he now considered normal actions.
After what seemed like years, and the boy had not really grown since he had arrived, a party of humans came upon his camp. The young boy was overjoyed to see other humans and tried to get their attention, but was immediately attacked. They seemed afraid of him and were clearly on guard. He tried to explain that this was his home and he had been living there, but they didnt seem to believe him. despite his size and teh fact that they outnumbered him, the humans set an unneeded diversion with magic and ran. The boy was disheartened. This was the same behavior he had faced in his previous world. Blind assumptions that he was dangerous. Profiling and mistreatment were common for him before, but he had hoped things would be different here.
A few days later, two of the party members returned. apparently they had been watching him from afar with some type of searching magic that he didnt yet understand. They observed him simply living day by day without being a threat. Though they were cautious, they approached. They ask who else is there. But are told it is just him. They ask again, stating that they know a cild could not survive here on his own. Again, they are told that he is alone. They get louder and angrier. No boy should be able to perform such magic feats. He hadnt done any hunting or fighting recently, but the mere movement of earth and water were apparently intermediate techniques and children normally cannot perform them. They were convinced that they were being watched by an adult who helped the boy behind the scenes. One party member had enough of the argument and challenged the boy to a fight. The intention was to observe the magic closely and find where it was coming from. The boy accepted, assuming it was some duel to determine who was to be believed. The human ran after him to strike him, his attention more on the surroundings than the boy, ready to intercept any interuptions to the duel. But before he knew it, he was on the ground. His foot had been encased in hardened earth and he lost his balance. The boy was surprised how easy it was, but assumed it was them holding back because he was young. The irate human demanded a rematch, this time demanding his teammates be on the lookout while he fought seriously.

Manta's adventure:
*Leaves home in Goldenrod with ralts to go to New Bark Town, using a dodrio rental. Dodrio leaves. Receives pokedex, but is refused a pokemon since he already has ralts.
*Goes to Route 46, assuming he can get to Blackthorn. After seeing the cliff, he decides to train in the small grassy area, finding his rival at the top.
*They decide to travel to Cherrygrove together. They both sleep at the pokemon center and the next day, they split up.
*Manta goes to the beach to see a farmer who raises crabrawler for their claws. The farm is simple, but surprisingly efficient. Manta makes friends with the farmer, hearing about his wife selling his product in Goldenrod City.
*Manta travels along the beach to admire it, seeing his rival far ahead. What looks like a wild pokemon battle turns out to be a training session between himself and his two pokemon, An Alolan Meowth and a Murkrow. The rival teaches Manta how to train his pokemon without wild pokemon. It is revealed that the rival has an array of tms and was testing them out on his two pokemon. Manta wonders why a lone fish pokemon is staring out and watching the battle take place. It seems sad.
*Rival goes on ahead and Manta travels through the routes. He finds a woman who grows berries. She and her pachirisu share a number of fresh and dried berries.
*Manta continues to Azelea Town's adjacent Dark Cave and Decides to explore after taking a brief rest at the pokemon center. Beforehand, he hears of a migratory pokemon called Carbink that have recently made the cave their home. The pokemon was described as beautiful and foreign. Manta decides to go see one and hopefully catch one.
*After exploring the cave for a bit, he finds some Team Rocket Employees collecting carbink. Theyre using small bombs to lure them out of the small tunnels from which they travel and using zubat to fire supersonic and astonish to confuse and stun them. A single pawniard was also present, using metal claw to slash open the carbink passing by and to snatch their gems. The zubat caused dozens of carbink to run wild in panic, many of them getting snatched up by the thieves or became victims to the pawniard. Manta hesitates to confront them due to being just a beginner in battling, but ralts helps him steel himself and work things out his own way. Manta silently observes, waiting for the explosions to displace rocks above. He asked his ralts to silently and precisely use confusion to drop the heavy rocks from above, smacking into the zubat and their trainers. The carbink trapped in their bags quickly fled. While doing so, he also made an effort to move fleeing carbink just out of harm's way from the explosions and zubat attacks beforehand. This saved quite a few carbink from injury or death. In all of the interference, that part of the cave begins to crumble. The team rocket members flee to the other side of the cave with their pokemon and the carbink flee out of a small tunnel, the exit being covered in rubble as the last one seems to escape. Manta and ralts rush out from where they came, just east of Violet City.
* Manta rested in the pokemon center, exhausted from his adventure. he had contacted the police the night before and they had investigated, finding remnants of the fight beforehand and proof of Team Rocket's involvement. They buried the bodies of the carbink that had been killed, and offered Manta their thanks. Manta, still a little shooken, convinced himself to get stronger. his rival likely could have handled the situation with much fewer casualties. To get stronger, he decided to climb Srout Tower.
* Sprout tower is a large man-made structure meant to resemble the tin tower of Ecryteak. The monk filled tower offers trainers a chance to train in a non-aggressive environment. Many monks have medical training and heal pokemon after battles if needed. As most used the pokemon bellsprout, due to its affiliation with the tower itself, or hoothoot, for its help in meditation, Manta easily got into the groove of things with Grace the Ralts. By the time they reached the top, Grace had learned hypnosis and draining kiss. The final battle at the top of sprout tower was surprisingly tough. The final monk was different than the rest. His bellsprout moved differently, effortlessly evading most attacks. And hoothoot was considerably stronger, flying into the blindspot of Ralts on multiple occasions. in the end, Manta barely won. After sensing why Manta had chosen to climb the tower in the first place, the head monk gave Manta the TM: Protect as well as a heal ball, hinting that Manta would need it soon. He also warned of another trainer who had gone through before him. The trainer seemed troubled, but had no issue beating the trainers in the tower. He did however sense that while he showed love and relied on most of his pokemon, one pokemon that had not been used in battle was not receiving those feelings. He was encouraged to help, though it was a bit to vague for manta to follow.
* Manta walked back to the pokemon center after a long day. Just as he was going to walk through the doors, a carbink hopped out from behind one of the potted plants. It looked long and hard at Manta. Through the center doors, Officer Jenny emerged. She stated that this was the last living carbink from the migrating group. It couldnt follow them since the cave had collapsed in that area. while Officer Jenny was originally intending to take the carbink to an organization to find a home for it, the carbink seemed insistent to seek out the trainer who had saved the remaining carbink. After a suggestion about carbink's intentions, Manta decided to take carbink with him. He used the heal ball that the monk had recently given him, thinking that perhaps it could also heal the trauma that carbink had felt, but also because and likely more importantly, because he felt this was why the monk gave him the ball. Carbink Joined the team! She was nickamed Kaya.
*Manta and his two pokemon could finally try what they had been taught in the town before by their rival. His pokemon could train together in their downtime or when they couldnt find a wild pokemon to battle. after teaching both of them protect, Manta started on his training session. Kaya the carbink relied on mostly rock type moves. Rock throw and smack down both fired rocks of different sizes at Grace the ralts. Grace had to focus on dodging with double team, and stopping smaller rocks with confusion. Grace tried firing some rocks back, but Kaya showed pride in her defense, blocking a large amount of physical attacks with ease. The two battled and rested on an off for the whole day, getting a bit closer.
*the next day Manta and his pokemon decide to challenge the gym. He sees his rival who has just finished his match and received the badge about to exit. But his rival decides to stay and watch Manta's match. Manta meets Falkner, whoasks how many pokemon he has and how many gym badges. After revealing that he has two pokemon and no gym badges, falkner takes two pokeballs from an odd birdcage shaped holder. A few spectators sat and observed above the arena. There were many more empty seats than full ones, but manta still felt the pressure, especially since his rival had joined them. They were to have a two on two battle. Only manta could switch pokemon. Falkner's first pokemon was a murkrow. He looked up at Manta's rival, who he had lost to earlier with a smirk. Perhaps he had battled with the same murkrow that Manta had seen before? Manta called out Kaya to battle. She was determined, if not a little too eager to help out in this battle. After the training they had done together, it was a great time to shine. Murkrow attempted a few attacks to scout out Kaya's moves and strategies. but Kaya stood firm. The peck attacks did next to nothing and the astonish attack followed suit. Kaya tried a tackle attack, but murkow easily dodged using flight. Kaya was great defensively, but was not fast at all. Manta tried getting Kaya to use sharpen, but Murkrow responded with haze, covering the area in a haze and removing the effects of sharpen. Kaya retaliated with a smack down attack, moving just to the side and attacking through the haze where murkow couldnt see. The golden orb of concentrated rock hit murkrow on the wing, sending it to the ground and keeping it from flying. While attempting to get back in the air, Kaya took advantage of the even ground in the match of speed and successfully used a powerful rock throw attack to win the battle. Next to come out was a fierce noctowl. Faulkner was wary of knock off this time, using a confusion attack to change the small rock's course and away from noctowl. It then launched a powerful peck attack. Manta didnt worry about it at first since the last peck attack had been inconsequential, but this one managed to knock Kaya back a bit. Was it noctowl's weight? Kaya fired off a few rock throw attacks in response. Noctowl smacked them down with its wings, mid flight. The rocks clearly did a bit of damage, but not enough to make note of. Noctowl then used sky attack, charging up while while carbink fired off a smack down. Noctowl loses altitude and falls towards Kaya with a sky attack. After the dusk clears, Kaya has fainted and Noctowl is grounded, but healthy. Next is Grace the ralts. Grace attempts double team, but noctowl's echoed voice erases them all with little effort. Ralts returns the favor with a growl attack. An angered noctowl fires off a peck. It hurts, but not as much as it would have pre-growl. Grace attempts to use draining kiss, but misses as noctowl hops away. It charges up for another sky attack, glowing bright. Manta orders Grace to sit tight. As the attack comes, the noctowl pushing forward across the ground with a single flap of its wings, Grace uses protect to block the attack, stunning the opponent after its ace move failed. Manta ordered for one last confusion, using the tactic he had learned in the cave to pick up a rock that Kaya had left, and dropping it on the grounded and dazed noctowl, causing it to faint. Manta receives his first Gym badge. Falkner, a gym leader who wants to be in law enforcement, thanks Manta for his work in Dark Cave and offers advice on where to go next. South of the town was the next rout that lead to Union cave. He stated that he liked to train his pokemon in confined spaces to challenge himself. He suggested battling against his acquaintance, Bugsy, when Manta had time.
*Manta exited the gym, accompanied by his rival. there was a small congratulations and an invitation to battle. Manta was reluctant, knowing that his rival was stringer than he was, but he reminded himself of the battle in the cave and of Kaya. He needed to get stronger to save other poeple and pokemon if need be. His rival could do that and battling him could prove useful in his pursuit. Manta agreed after he and his pokemon got some rest. Since the two were going in the same direction, it was something that could wait until later.
* Manta and his rival travelled through route 32. each battled a few wild pokemon. the two even battled a pair of picnicker trainers in a double battle, winning easily against the clear beginners. They both rested by the waterside, the cave entrance just barely visible in the distance.

*Manta and his rival battle at the cave's entrance. The pokemon center is in sight so they have no qualms about going all out. Rival starts out with Meowth. Manta starts out with Carbink. After the meowth used fake out to almost no damage, manta grew confident. Manta tried to take the initiative, believing in carbink's defenses, and focused instead on attacks. He managed to catch meowth slightly off guard with smack down attacks after occasionally leading it into the air by making it jump. However Meowth had superior speed and successfully evaded the attacks, only letting the rocks graze it at best. Manta assumed he would need to get close. So he got carbink to use Sharpen, to rase its attack, then use tackle. However Meowth easily dodged and used a surprising iron tail to take carbink out. The rival explained that Meowth was merely a pet kept by his family, but that it wanted to travel with him. He had taught meowth a number of moves over a long period of time to protect itself. Next was ralts. unlike with carbink, ralts could use its speed to attempt to evade attacks. Ralts attempted to confuse the target with double team, splitting into four identical copies. For the first time so far, meowth looked worried. However after launching a single thunderbolt attack, it caught the correct ralts. Ralts' body tingled with a sudden static, making it hard to move. Ralts was paralyzed. Its movements were slowed, now at around the same speed as carbink. and even Manta understood that this would make the battle one-sided. ralts attempted to strike with confusion, picking the rocks up and launching them, since meowth was unaffected by psychic type attacks directly. However it used iron tail to crush each one. Manta was growing desperate. It couldnt even hit the opponent. Meowth evaded every attack like it was nothing. there was no way to hit it. Ralts could understand this frustration and developed a new skill to compensate. as Meowth rushed forward with an iron tail attack, looking to end it, Grace fired off a magical leaf attack. the newly learned move followed meowth as it moved, gaining speed as they moved. Meowth attempted to knock some down, but there were too many, and it was hit several times. Manta's spirits were raised a bit, before it was revealed that the damage was too low. Manta tried to call out a magical leaf and draining kiss attack combo to lure meowth into draining kiss' attack range, however meowth learned from the past attack, allowing the magical leaf to hit so not enough time was made for draining kiss to strike. With a single iron tail, it struck grace, causing her to faint. But taking all of teh magical leaf attacks instead of just some had done its own damage, causing meowth to faint immediately after.

Digimon RP Idea
(reusing Lennox Glass character name)
Lennox (Len) Glass works in his family's restaurant. The restaurant is small and cannot afford to hire too many employees, so he spends alot of his free time working. His parents are too busy to notice him, but he doesnt mind since he and his parents dont exactly get along. His busy life and social awkwardness make it difficult to make friends as well. In fact, he has never really had any friends outside of a pet when he was young. He has a few people who are occasionally nice to him, but no one that he can put his barriers down with. Despite his social awkwardness, Len has basically mastered putting on a mask. His work as a waiter and as someone who gets deals on ingredients has trained him in faking sincere smiles and fake relationships. But every time he does this it only cements his feelings of loneliness.
Len goes out on a food run for his parents. The semi-exotic purple carrots came in that day and they needed them for the restaurant. However after purchasing them, a white animal snatched the bunch of carrots away from him. He chased it down the street and into an alley, barely getting a good glimpse of it before shifting his focus to his surroundings. He no longer heard the hustle and bustle of the city. The buildings surrounding him were strange and unfamiliar. And after leaving the tight alley he had gotten lost in, he noticed that there were more than just people walking around, but also creatures as well! The small white creature walks forward with the carrots in hand. It cals itself Terriermon. And with him, a teen around his age. slightly taller, tan, and oddly calm in this situation. Apparently he was lured into another world, the Digital World, for a purpose. Not that the boy in fron tof him knew what it was either. He was given instructions from his Digivice, a small electronic that sent him the occasional message.
Apparently, small portals to and from the human world were opening and closing without notice. A team would be needed to find the cause and stop them. This boy was the first, and Len was supposedly the second. It is explained that humans have a special role in the digital world and can induce a special bond between themselves and select digimon. First is one that they have a "soul bond" with, and they have the capacity to bond with no more than 2 others who are not inherently connected to them. Though the boy thinks it's strange that Len does not already have a digimon partner. The boy's digivice instructs him to sendLen back through the now disappearing portal he came from with a gift. I digivice appeared in his hands in a flash of light, and the first message given by odd hologram stated to "return and return". Assuming that he should go back home, the boy and terriermon lead him back through the portal to the human world, sending Len off and staying behind The portal closed behind Len. He doesnt understand how to get back, and briefly contemplates if this is a dream, but with digivice in hand, he was sure it wasnt. He just eneded to go home and get scolded for losing the carrots.
Later that night, after a fight with his parents over wasted money, he falls asleep in bed, waking up in a field of flowers. A small brown blob bounced onto his chest to greet him. It called itself Kokomon.

Manta's journey, revamped.
Manta Kudo is the adopted son of a suspiciously cheery daycare worker on the outskirts of Goldenrod City. Manta was actually found in the deep forests of Hoenn, starving and too weak to move, with a ralts who tried her best to care for him alone. he was brought back and raised by his father. He and his father have an odd relationship in that Manta is does not believe his adoptive father actually loves him, and is instead just pretending with a fake smile. He doesnt want to make waves by questioning the motives of the man who saved him, and instead find his own place in the world. Manta has memory loss of whatever happened before he was found in the forest.
He is just graduating trainer school, where he only went to because his father refused to let him go off on a journey until he finished. Like at home, he has no good relationships with classmates. He started off with fake positivity to be liked, but after trying and failing so many times, he essentially gave up on making friends. particularly, it was when he tried to assist other students in connecting with their pokemon. He would occasionally give advice that worked, and would be called a freak for it. An example is when a classmate's magby was having so much trouble with punching moves. Hecould 'see' that magby preferred physical attacks, against his trainer's wishes. He brought it up with his classmate, and even showed that magby preferred physical moves, but the classmate was angry for not getting what he wanted, and got other classmates to mock him for his interference.
He spent the most of the school year out of the spotlight, doing well on exams and poorly in practice battles. in order not to make his stay at school worse, he avoided winning battles. he had learned that his stay at school would be much worse after he won a battle in public. Normally, he would lose on purpose, or give up before or during the battle. While he would get mocked for this, his classmates left him alone.
During graduation, Manta noticed his father wasnt in the audience, and some of his classmates mocked him for it as he sat back down. After the ceremony was over, on his way back home, a few classmates followed him, demanding a battle to prove their superiority and to discourage Manta from starting a journey. Out of the view of most other classmates, and no longer obligated to stay around them, Manta accepted the challenge, with intent to win. Previously, Manta had only shown ralts knowing confusion, which only cemented people's assumption that they were untrained and weak, but the battle showed a difference in skill, as Manta and ralts fought back efficiently, tricking the opponent and landing a decisive blow. Manta gave a monotone request that they not show their faces to him on his journey.
Next chapter
After packing his things, his father tries his best to get Manta to stay at home, wanting to explore Manta's memory loss and try to regain it. Manta leaves anyway, much to his disagreement. Once the young boy leaves, he father sends out a noctowl to spy on him and make regular reports. For safety, right?
Manta and ralts travel north, through the national park. He sees some familiar faces, but focuses more on the scenery. There are fields of flowers, and a noticable amount of migratory pokemon. Cutiefly, scatterbug Oricorio, volbeat, illumise, and others. He saw these pokemon around once a year before they flew off. He only had 5 pokeballs with him, and only enough food for the two of them to be honest. Before he started catching pokemon, he would need to raise some money by winning battles.
Manta passed through the other side of the park, and found a number of trainers battling for experience nearby, He engaged in quite a few battles, winning three in a row before a young girl he had just defeated asked if maybe he would take on the pokemon blocking their path. He listened carefully. Apparently, most of these kids were originally going to train at violet city. but a pokemon had blocked their path, challenging anyone who got near to a fight. It fought aggressively adn won each battle, causing everyone to be cautious around it. If he beat it, maybe it would leave and they could have their pathway again.
Manta walked about an hour to the spot in question. It was three way road that lead to Ecryteak City, Goldenrod, and Violent City. As he walked closer to the center, a small yellow pokemon emerged, shouting at him for a battle. An elekid? It was strange to see it in a place like this. They typically liked places with lots of electricity like powerplants or places with frequent thunderstorms. He approached cautiously...
